I've had one for over 5 years, no trouble, not even an O-ring replacement. Still shooting 1" groups at 40m with a bipod. Great for HFT paired with a Nikko Stirling 4-16 x 40 FFP scope..
Glad you still like it ,I have a super 10 from new FAC Changed the bottle to a carbon one with filling without taking off the bottle 👍👍👍 I can get at 65 yard's a group (20 shots) of 20mm Love the gun only thing for me e I would love side leaver loading Keep up the good work 👍👍👍
You must have the patience of a Saint. My R10SE (which is a few months older than yours) now has to go back to the factory under warranty due to a graunching bolt action. I've been advised that there are a few R10's doing this so now I will be without my gun for around 5 weeks. This is the second BSA I've purchased new in the last year and my first (GRT Lightening) also had to go back for a new barrel & stock. I am not a happy bunny and very much doubt that my next gun will be a BSA
Hi mate just subscribe to your channel, really like your honest reviews, recently brought myself the BSA R12, my first BSA only been shooting for a few months so a lot to learn, keep up the good work 👏
Nice set up mate. If a rifle is shooting out the box and has no problems then your one in a million. I like a rifle to have a few tiny problems so that I can sort them out to understand the rifle and get it to what suits me. Then I get rid what an idiot, Don’t know where you live mate but if your near Lincolnshire, and by the accent I say your down south a bit. If your wanting to shoot over 30 meters you’d be welcome to shoot here and you can film. Keep doing these vids Marcus about time we had real time user reviews
Hi Marcus I own a r10, mine has been sent back to bsa , because it’s running low on power. When shooting in my garden didn’t notice it@ 15yds. When I went to my local range and shot @25 yds it was all over the place, wouldn’t group at all. Shots were low or high of aim point. Actually see pellet moving. So cleaned barrel, but only marginal difference. Bought an fx radar chrono and power was low, average 10.3 ft lbs with jsb 10.34 gr. lowest reading was 9.3ft lbs. so now just waiting for rifle to come back. I mentioned this on another video you done. I agree with you just send it back. Wayne
Sounds like an accuracy thing too if the pellet is all over the place. I go accuracy over power, don't matter if your using a 50 call, but can't hot a barn door.
@@allthingsag938 when I first took it to the range @25yrds I was getting 10 shots in about 5p group, similar to what you had in this video. Power was up & down with a deviation of about 1ft lbs, with the highest being 10.3ft lbs. which might explain why pellets were going high & low of centre target aim point?? I assuming when I first got it, it would have been higher @ 11.5 ish of out factory. Was at the shooting last Saturday?? I thought I saw you.
I always thought they would be, but i have heard otherwise, my CLX did come out pushing 11.4 though so who knows. Let me know how it comes back. Are you a member of the Airgun Factory FB group?
Hi Marcus Finally got my r10 back. They tuned the power up and is now averaging about 11.3 ft lbs using jsb heavy 10.34gr. They also found that they needed to re-crown barrel, they said would effect accuracy. All seems good now. Wayne
I like the layout of the R10se and balance, but I have owned two now and had problems with both and found them not as accurate as the Hw100 or the Daystate Huntsman. Owning a PCP is like owning a car from time to time they need some work or a service I expect that , but I don’t expect to pay this kind of money only to have my new purchase leak . 2 R10se and both had problems . 🤔Not to mention regulator issues 😔just not good enough.
Dude have your written the same paragraph to BSA, they have been more than very very helpful with any issue to me. And i'm not a teachers pet, or they would have given me an R12 to test...
@@allthingsag938 Hi Marcus 👍I bought the first R10se and liked it, but it had a slow leak so figured I would get it repaired when I had time. So in the meantime I bought a R10se Black pepper so I could continue to hunt, but found it to be inconsistent with accuracy. It would group well ,then for no apparent reason fire groups all over the place.😔. Did a bit of online research and found a lot of comments on regulator issues 😔so cashed the pair in and bought Daystate. Maybe I should have gone back to BSA ,but having trouble with both my R10s I had lost faith in BSA and the quality of their manufacturing. As I said I did like the general layout of the rifle and I didn’t find it heavy at all , as it was well balanced ,but quality control seems to be lacking with BSA . Good service after your purchase has gone wrong is great 👍. But when spending this sort of money isn’t reasonable to expect it to work properly from the start 🤔 Good luck with your posting 👍
I would also expect an expensive car to work from the start, but its not the case. I know a few people who work for top end manufacturers and more go back than you think. Even my 24K work car has had endless issues, ok on lease, but not on purchase . Life i guess but I'm a half glass full kind of person, i seek solutions. Trust me if my R10 goes up the creek there will be a vid, but only after i seek advice from all parties. You will find people are quick to write a negative, that's why you see all the bad regs, but when it's good, nothing, but hey isn't that who we are conditioned by the media, nothing ever good on the news at 10 lol :)

Lovely rifle! Mine was like a laser out to 50m with JSB heavy .177. Too heavy for me out in the field all day, but if I’d I kept it I’d have put a carbon fibre bottle on to get rid of the ugly buddy bottle and Huma reg if any more issues. Good luck mate!
Not surprised.
I love my BSAR10 SE 177cal. It's FAC power, as I live in the USA. My favorite rifle.
Liked and subscribed from the USA 🇺🇸 👍
Thanks Heith, appreciate it :)
Just got my old bsa super 10 serviced taking her out for the 1st time in over 7 years can't wait 😀
Have fun!
