The best thing for now is to spray blue spray or silver spray on the wounds. This way the red/pink color disappears and makes it no longer attractive for the chickens to peck at the skin. Hopefully this is helpful to you! PS. It is also immediately disinfectant, really great stuff!
Hi, I’ve used the Peepers on my chickens & it is recommended that they only stay on for 2 weeks at a time. Love your videos & can’t wait to see if you get baby emus hatch. I’m in Australia, so I love Emus!
The chickens that were pecking are thinking, if I knew they were going to dress me up like this, I would never have done that. 🤣 The pants were too funny.
My father in law had the same problem. It IS a good issue. Some chickens have a taste for blood. If you’ll add some died blood powder to the food, theulyll stop the bloody pecking. 6:42
Lol, you guys are awesome! I bought a chicken xylophone and some other chicken toys after learning from you that chickens can get bored just like everybody else. Thanks for sharing your lives and your experience with us! Sending blessings for your health and happiness from us and our Maine coop of 4 chicken ladies. :)
Shaming chickens is now a thing! lol. I used blinders on my hens that were pecking others TO DEATH. It WORKED. I kept them on, since they don't act like they bother them at all!
Vicks on the birds will stop it , I actually found a old cobalt blue Vicks bottle in the mud the other day where my grandmother and grandfather raised chickens all their lives. It brought back a flood of precious memories….
I never thought that chickens could look so fashionable!! This is beyond hysterical. As long as they are healing and no one is pecking their feathers out.
I just loved this video, so funny to watch them running around in those pants! LOL! Please keep us posted on whether or not the chicken saddle/aprons work and the eye peepers. I'm having issues with one flock that are pecking each other.
I have been watching another channel and there farm adventures . I really enjoyed them till they said they have chosen not to have children . Because he felt it was forcing the child to do something they don’t want to do . I was soooo stunned and sad . They love the animals so much but we’re afraid of having a child . I don’t follow them any more . Watching your channel with your children is what it’s all about . So much moooore fun and educational!
Lol I needed a good laugh today. Thanks for sharing your best dressed chicken’s 🐓 Love your family. You can show that beautiful baby girl dancing anytime ❤
Good Sunday Morning White House On The Hill ❤❤ I hope all of the chickens outfits works but I laught at the General with his pants on.😂😂Hopefully, everything will be fixed that no more pecking. Maybe they could all do the 'Walk' of fashion for chickens 😂😂. Have a blessed week ahead, guys......See yall on your next video, take care & bye for now!! ❤🐓❤
We have those exact aprons. We tell the chickens they're going to get a dress on and the freeze or scatter because they know what that means. Heh heh...
Oh my days! I’ve just spent the last 3 hours binge watching your channel. I must have dosed off and woken up in an alternate reality, because I thought I saw chickens playing dress up?? P.S. I feel that this episode should have a Tena Ladies advisory ;-) Loving all your content. From Sharon in Mudford Sock, Somerset. UK
Jake, you do so much good for the hobbyist farmer by providing much needed info on how to care for animals and how to build some amazing structures to house those animals. Yesterday though, made me so sad. I understand the blinders and the aprons. Those are for the good of the individual chickens and the flock in general. The arms and pants were not. Those were simply for the amusement of the family (and UA-cam) and an unnecessary stress to that rooster. I actually stopped the video at 7:16 yesterday cause I couldn't watch any more. When I got up this morning, the video was still sitting there on my laptop. Am I the only one who wasn't laughing? Congrats on 1 MILLION subscribers though. I've been watching you guys for years.
Hi MossyFrog, since you stopped at 7:16, you missed the part where they removed the pants before they left the run. The arms weren't in later shots either, so I expect those were removed as well, which is what I expected to happen given the history of the channel. They've been practical farmers, not cruel farmers.
@@DeathJesterEloriya You are right, THEY are not cruel farmers but they are farming influencers and need to set the stage for how to treat animals properly. In this case, I felt let down by their actions and compelled to make a comment since everyone else was laughing and cheering. I love this family and their channel. I look forward to further videos from them.
I’ve been watching since forever I think maybe since I was a freshman in highschool or even longer but I’m now in college and my family and I just got our first little chickens and I now have some knowledge thanks to y’all ❤
I got these chicken blinders just a bit ago because one of my hens is being singled out by multiple other hens. It for sure stops immediate bullying, but you aren't suppose to wear them for more than 2 weeks at a time. Still, rotating them on/off is an option and I'm hoping I can disrupt the pecking order enough to reintroduce my poor bullied easter egger once she's healed.
i used to be terrified of chickens cuz i got hurt once but i found your account a few weeks ago and it rlly helped with my fear cuz recently i was in the cillage and actually pet a chicken 😭
The occupation of a contestant on What's My Line from the late 1950s was selling these glasses for chickens. Interesting that they're still being sold and working more than 60 years later!
I live on the west coast of Canada and my "Earthquake Detector" is a framed picture of a chicken with googley eyes on it. If the eyes are shaking, we're having a quake!
This was just hilarious. I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. I love the rooster and hen with the pants and arms. I had hens at one time and I just loved them. You guys are awesome. Your channel is Amazing.
Thank you for sharing this fun video!! It made my day!! I sure hope the blinders work and they stop the pecking at each other!! I'm going to pass that idea along to Grandpa Adler Farms because he's been having pecking issues also. God bless!!
I have a guinea roo who is a huge jerkwad. The only reason he's not dumpling soup and flyfishing lures is because he makes pretty babies. When he starts chasing subordinate hens out of the coop and away from food, he gets the glasses. Settles his fricassee right down. I swear by them. A farmer near me was selling off his guineas so I acquied 6 hens and another handsome roo; the flock acclimated nicely but my 2 boss hens needed the glasses due to bullying the newest, smallest hen. That's a no-go. Six weeks later everyone is happy, or as happy as those feathered balls of rage can be. 🙂
This is just as funny as putting pennies on cat's feet then sliding them across a wood or tile floor. OMG!!! You guys are goofballs! I don't remember when I have laughed this hard.
I almost never comment but that roo with the pants, arms and google eyes was absolutely hysterical😂😂😂
fr that made me laugh so hard🤣
😊
Jake may be regretting a career choice - but those chickens are regretting their life choices 😂
I almost never comment too but i almost never comment.
Yea that was so funny
I love seeing and hearing the babies. They are such a blessing. They make this old grandma happy 😊 I love them all! Oh and you guys too. Lol
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!You idea crack me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing the humor in life makes life so good!
Thank you!😊👍
The best thing for now is to spray blue spray or silver spray on the wounds. This way the red/pink color disappears and makes it no longer attractive for the chickens to peck at the skin. Hopefully this is helpful to you!
PS. It is also immediately disinfectant, really great stuff!
This video needs an award
Hopefully a good one, right?
I wish I had chicken pants for people who pick on me 😂
This gave me and my family a bunch on giggles. The hen with the pants was our fave bless her. Almost falling over

Hi, I’ve used the Peepers on my chickens & it is recommended that they only stay on for 2 weeks at a time.
Love your videos & can’t wait to see if you get baby emus hatch.
I’m in Australia, so I love Emus!
Yeah because if they stay in too long the tissue can grow around them and then it tears out when the peepers come out 😢
As an Aussie I agree
I've had a crappy week but this video made me smile again. Thanks for sharing some giggles! 💜
Birds with arms is probably my favorite kind of meme, hilarious on your rooster!
Hilarious arms n pants, sensible cool goggles & back pads & cute aprons.
Thanks n blessings
The chickens that were pecking are thinking, if I knew they were going to dress me up like this, I would never have done that. 🤣 The pants were too funny.
The chickens that were pecking, need to be chicken soup for dinner.
Oh my goodness!! I love you guys and how hard you work to keep all your animals safe
Loveliest video ever ❤
Remarkable work and concern U people have shown.💕
My father in law had the same problem. It IS a good issue. Some chickens have a taste for blood. If you’ll add some died blood powder to the food, theulyll stop the bloody pecking. 6:42
Thanks for sharing your chickens. Loved the googly eyes!

What a hilarious video! I hope this helps with the problem!!
OMG the general is the best, especially when he was walking backwards, 😂😂😂
Googlie eyes and a Tutu so fashionable. Love the farmer pants, too funny.
Hilarious. Nothing like a little fun and a good laugh. Sure hope it fixes the problem.
That is a hoot. Sad for the ones hurt .🌻❤️🌻
I is so nice that you found some cute ways to protect your chickens
You have a beautiful family. I remember my dad clipping the tips of their beaks when they would peck each other. God bless
Vicks on the birds will stop it , I actually found a old cobalt blue Vicks bottle in the mud the other day where my grandmother and grandfather raised chickens all their lives. It brought back a flood of precious memories….
That's so nice.
Thanks
that was a RIOT!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a while!!
Your videos bring me so much joy
I say do whatever works!!! The glasses, capes, pants, and arms distracted the problem chickens. Plus it made for free entertainment.
General look hilarious 😂 😅 general doing parade with its battalion 😂😂
Hope y'all can get rid of the issue. love ur channel ❤🔥
Very funny ideas! Good luck with those outfits!
I never thought that chickens could look so fashionable!! This is beyond hysterical. As long as they are healing and no one is pecking their feathers out.

So far, no pecking problems. So definitely works!
Ok
I don’t know why but when Jake said “very nice” to the first pretty apron, that was so funny 😂
I have been watching another channel and there farm adventures . I really enjoyed them till they said they have chosen not to have children . I mean it’s a choice to be respected and private. And I don’t think anyone should be judged about it.
I feel like I’m a part of this family 🥺
Lol I needed a good laugh today. Thanks for sharing your best dressed chicken’s 🐓
Love your family. You can show that beautiful baby girl dancing anytime ❤
Also what’s so cute…. After you dressed each one it looked like they went running off for a barn dance party!🤣❤️😂❤️🤣❤️😂
Good Sunday Morning White House On The Hill ❤❤ I hope all of the chickens outfits works but I laught at the General with his pants on.😂😂Hopefully, everything will be fixed that no more pecking. 😂😂🐓🐓I've seen chicken aprons before but never blinders and chicken pants, they are hysterical but darn practical.

6:50 Lil buddy hit the wrong gear, even Jake didn't expect that move 😂😂😂
Funny but problem solving solution, I m happy for yours chickens 😊
I’ve begun making my own saddles for my small flock because one hen in particular seems to be the favorite of the roosters!
The dance session was great! Those outfits OMG!!! Made me think of the baby goat pj's.
🤣🤣Oh my gosh.. laughing out loud all by myself. This is great!
Y’all made me smile
Bless you for that, I’ve been struggling to find happiness

I live on the west coast of Canada and my "Earthquake Detector" is a framed picture of a chicken with googley eyes on it. If the eyes are shaking, we're having a quake!
She was teaching the Irish River Dance baby style . 😂😂
Looks like they are all ready for the runway!

I’d love to see more about your guys pigeon, I own and Breed pigeon and it’s nice to see others owning them as well
You guys are obstructing the cloacas of those birds!!!
So cool and funny but great way to teach them love watching you guys.
Well summers seem to be quiet aggressive with other birds. It's a shame. But the blinders and pants and flex arms are amazing
This was just hilarious. I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. I love the rooster and hen with the pants and arms. I had hens at one time and I just loved them. You guys are awesome. Your channel is Amazing.
Wringing necks is my solution for cannibalistic chickens.
Now I want a chicken saddle with White House on the hill logo. Never laugh so hard. Neighbors must think I am crazy lol 😂
The thinner aprons are good for over bred hens
Roos won’t be able to tear them up like that
Thank you for sharing this fun video!! It made my day!! I sure hope the blinders work and they stop the pecking at each other!! I'm going to pass that idea along to Grandpa Adler Farms because he's been having pecking issues also.
God bless!!
I read your article in the Chickens magazine, love what you do. You have inspired me to get mandarin ducks one day, but can't find any locally
