Question about the dimensions in the pattern... you said in the video that your panels turned out bigger than you expected and I am just doing gauge and my checkers are 4" instead of 3 1/2 using same yarn and smaller hook. Is this what you got? What are your actual final dimensions if they are different than the pattern? Thank you!

Before I buy the pattern, would you say this measurement would be considered a small? The pattern says the other sizes would be included. My daughter wants it and she normally wears medium size. Very nicely done!
I'd say this is a S/M !! I normally wear a S but this is definitely oversized. I include recommendations in the pattern adjust if you want a larger size :)

A little issue,on 2:29, when I flipped my work,the different colour yarn was peeking through the stitches in an un-neat way.Advice?❤
you need to pull the hidden color yarn tighter at the end of the row!

i would make your squares one or two stitches smaller and then narrow down your black panels!!
