I'm sure you already know this. All local pet shelters are always in need of blankets and towel. They are very grateful for all donations. Food for thought.
I loved that Janna when you said to Jack take that off its an elderly ladies bracelet too funny! Looks like you found a few treasures there so far..Great job
Locker Nuts check that black vase it is probably signed on the bottom and has value even with the chips. Native American art pottery. The other vase is not the top from what I can see.
Those warped canvases for paintings are an easy fix. Just spray the back of the canvas with water and it'll shrink back into shape. Repeat if necessary if the canvas is really bad. I've done this a few times to pieces I found, it works great!
That was a flute in the green box with the costume jewelry. That's what it looked like to me. I love you guys! I love watching your videos. You make me laugh!😃
I guess she's referring to someone like you when she says elderly lady. I guess I'm elderly as well. I found that statement in bad taste if not downright rude. She will be referred to in that manner as well, sooner rather than later. I wonder how that will make her feel?
Things that you aren't sure about utilize the bay area to have them looked at because you may miss out on value. Art and Pottery are very collectible even with damage. printers you can sell on local FB for more , understandably it's a fast paced business but some things don't quickly discount they can actually be valuable even if not your particular taste.
If the vintage painting is oil, you can lightly spray the back with warmer water then blow dry it on low with a hair dryer. It should shrink it. Great video! 💕
Hey Jack - Too bad the auctions got cancelled. Was hoping to catch the one in SR. Oh well. There will be more in the future. Hoping the pallet boxess are a slow start to good finds. Hope Concord went well today for you and good luck at Alameda tomorrow. Have a good one.
I recognize those glade candles. You put them in a candle burner. So, they sit in the top and melt, the bottom part would either have a lit candle or plugged in to the wall. I think they are called a wax warmer... 😊
If Janna just threw Bath and Body Works used candles away she could of taken them back to Bath and Body Works for an exchange. I like to of lost it when she threw them away.
Agreed. She's not very informed about these locker finds. Think Jack's mom is the one who should be helping out. She seems intelligent and savvy when she's helping Jack at the flea market.
If you take a damp just barely damp wash cloth and place it on the back of the painting where it is bowed out and let it absorb some of the moisture then lay it down with nothing on it as it dries it will tighten the canvas back up.
15:43 pueblo pottery even with the chips on the rim it is worth value and it was two pieces not one with a lid. if you trashed it you threw away money do a further investigation at pottery museum websites.
It is waxing those little square things and it's a for eye warmer for your candles it's one of those candle warmer candles you put those in heated up or plugged warmer in and it'll melt the wax
You might try subjecting that acrylic painting to some steam, acrylic paint is pretty tough except when exposed to solvents and temperatures above 300° F I would un-staple the edges steam it to soften it and then re-staple it taut.
Also, those thick mover blankets should sell for $5-$10 each easily. They're expensive if you have to buy them when you need them. Try selling them locally, they're too heavy to ship. But you could have $100-$200 or more there.
Daniel Wright, oh come on .... are you actually being serious? I haven’t witnessed Janna being rude or intentionally mean in any video! She is not that type of person. What isn’t fair is how you are twisting the truth to fit your narrative. Her comment was said jokingly. My kids will sometimes tease me about certain preferences I have (e.g; music, perfume fragrances, clothing) and I’m only 40! lol I don’t take it personally because to them, it’s probably true! And so what? I guarantee you, no “old ladies” are crying over anything said in this video.
The older I get, I realize age is not in the mind, it is in the body. You will get aches and pains and you will start losing mobility. So age is only in the mind to a certain point.
the basket at 3:08 might by native american made. it could be worth more then a couple bucks. wish i could buy from you. i'm native american from washington state.
That African mask is amazing! Do you sell online or have online auctions? I collect all kinds of mugs. Would you want to sell them and would you ship? I would buy that whole tote of African things if I lived there! Hair color expires!!
Ok I keep hearing you mention Alameda, whats goin on in Alameda? ...Im definitely subbing to your channel because Im assuming yourr in my neck of the woods, and you and your lady seem cool, I told my wife we should get into buying and selling. You , Jeremy and Jorge from What The Hales have me paying attention.
A one legged vet friend of mine said he wish p people would sell more single shoes at the flea markets . Even a really upscale new shoe can sell almost full price on eBay , use the heading " For our disabled one legged vet we are listing single shoes and boots for you. " This applies to women shoes as well. Jus an idea folks.
Kinda sad in a way. True that one person's loss is another person's find - and you can see that this is a loss from a family(or two or three families), right down to their pots and pans. Someone, or someoneS, has been through very hard times and have lost everything and at some point, will have to start over in their lives. And in these situations, EVERYBDOYS life is effected. There is Children's toys, teen's toys, as well as someone who was proud of their culture and perhaps even traveled intercontinentaly - has now lost everything - even the pictures of their beloved hampster. Sad indeed.
I'm sure you already know this. All local pet shelters are always in need of blankets and towel. They are very grateful for all donations. Food for thought.

That was a flute in the green box with the costume jewelry. That's what it looked like to me. I love you guys! I love watching your videos. You make me laugh!😃
Hmmm...I happen to love bracelets, ever since I was a kid. I'm 68 y/o now, still wear them, have lots & lots, and I HAPPENED TO LOVE THAT BRACELET!
I guess she's referring to someone like you when she says elderly lady. I guess I'm elderly as well. I found that statement in bad taste if not downright rude. She will be referred to in that manner as well, sooner rather than later. I wonder how that will make her feel?
No offense taken, but I couldn't resist the dig!

Hello from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming
Any canvas paintings can be restretched tight and into shape. It’s actually pretty easy
If Janna just threw Bath and Body Works used candles away she could of taken them back to Bath and Body Works for an exchange. I like to of lost it when she threw them away.

The candle holder from bin with mask is from Kwanza, I believe. Handle with respect.
Jack,
The carving has a Water Buffalo on it, not on ox:)
That's African.. You Know Lions, Zebras etc
That Bracelet is YOU!!!...… NOt! :)

Rik
You can take the old candles melt them and stack the smells to make new candles
The raised toilet section was too funny
Rock that bracelet jack😄
You rock that bracelet!!!!
If you take a damp just barely damp wash cloth and place it on the back of the painting where it is bowed out and let it absorb some of the moisture then lay it down with nothing on it as it dries it will tighten the canvas back up.
Like your bracelet LOL
Wax cubes are for Scensy burner, Fabric in same blue tote is a drying towel to put wet dishes on, instead of dish rack

16:20 is a Bilson Kee.... A Navajo artist who specialized in sand and acrylic paint.
Cool
I would have the African art appraised if I were you !
15:43 pueblo pottery even with the chips on the rim it is worth value and it was two pieces not one with a lid. if you trashed it you threw away money do a further investigation at pottery museum websites.
And if it says, "Marie" or "Marie & Julian" on the bottom, it could be worth a couple of hundred even with damage.
Might want to check out the woven basket. May possibly be worth something
Those crystal rocks are really nice!
With the mushroom lid on the damaged container someone may buy it and leave the lid on. Those African pieces look Ebay worthy.
9:46 Tanzania is tan - za- knee - ah
It’s painful listening to them both attempting to read
Oit of date film sells and that mushroom thing willl make an awesome ga4den ornament. Wow the African stuff you can have huge profit on them WTG
I like your bracelet Jack...:)
It is waxing those little square things and it's a for eye warmer for your candles it's one of those candle warmer candles you put those in heated up or plugged warmer in and it'll melt the wax
IS = Internatiional Silver
Sometimes people will wrap valuables up in pillows and blankets to protect them.
You might try subjecting that acrylic painting to some steam, acrylic paint is pretty tough except when exposed to solvents and temperatures above 300° F I would un-staple the edges steam it to soften it and then re-staple it taut.
Awesome video
Janna the pallet auction hoodlum!
Nice
13:26 The clay piece with a face on it is a 3 inch Ocarina flute.
"...No, you're not wearing it" .. LOLOLOL
African art you should have looked at not always flea market because highly collectible
I have to say, I like the bracelet
I think that piece that came with the Xbox is an extender for the Kinect thing. Probably so you can play farther away.
Research the black pottery vase, could be quite valuable also the mushroom is not part of it.
Also, those thick mover blankets should sell for $5-$10 each easily. They're expensive if you have to buy them when you need them. Try selling them locally, they're too heavy to ship. But you could have $100-$200 or more there.
I would keep all those shakers! Actually I dont think I could sell anything in that box from Africa! Those are such nice collectibles.
The video at the beginning of the video, Les Coeurs Briser is french, and it means The broken hearts. Hug.
“No, that is NOT cool”
“It’s HecKa cool” (😂)

I don’t take it personally because to them, it’s probably true!
And so what?
I guarantee you, no “old ladies” are crying over anything said in this video.
I wouldn’t discard sheet, comforters without shaking and making sure someone hasn’t wrapped up things in them!
Goodness looks like a lot of work 👍
Happy New Year you two.......
Think the mushroom is a totally separate piece to the jar
Didn't the base bowl look to be Southwest Pueblo style??? Would have been PRICEY new, if so...
The pictures aren't of a" Hamster"(13:33), it's actually a guinea pig. I had one when I was around your youngest daughters age.
Bison Kee is a Navajo painter. Paintings on ebay show about $300 or so
Kwanza/Christmas candle holder
That wax is for scentsy warmers or like
Jana, you need to remind Jack, that yes age is in the mind but so is dementia. lol ☺
No offense to anyone with any mental affliction, I have a stepfather with dementia.
The blk on blk vase might still be worth a lot. Look on bottom to see if its signed if it says MM...$$$$$$$
I should say Kee's painting are listed at about $300 to $1000+ but there's none shown sold
That African mask is amazing! Do you sell online or have online auctions? I collect all kinds of mugs. Would you want to sell them and would you ship? I would buy that whole tote of African things if I lived there! Hair color expires!!

The "J" Starbucks cup is collectable. Why would you throw it out?
it was chipped
Printers you can buy new fifty bucks, they saved it cause it ran out of ink I would say
Did those baskets have tags on them? They had an authentic look on video. Might be native or African.?
kathy , they look like the baskets that the Gullah, people make here in the low country of SC! Expensive for them that’s the case!
A one legged vet friend of mine said he wish p people would sell more single shoes at the flea markets .
