This was another great exploration. What a trooper Laura was, getting hit in the face by the bat and never telling Gly about it. Just kept right on going.
Awesome private mine . Neat how they repurposed rail and pipe for ladders ! Can’t wait for next Saturday! Also hope you both had a Merry Christmas 🎄 and looking forward to a New Year to you both!
Thanks Gly & Laura very interesting mine. Nice surprise to see that extra adit with rail hidden on level 2. New venture how many private mines can you get permission to document... Never seen before. Stay safe looking forward to the next. 👍
Hey y'all I enjoyed this one. Never seen so many dynamite boxes. Looked like it was a little mom and pop mine. Be safe and can't wait for next week show
Gly, you didn't point out the miners boots that were on the first level by dynamite boxes! Interesting mine especially the ore cart lifter. Also would like to say your videos are fun and educational.😊
Well, they did a great job of mining out the copper ore. I saw little evidence that it was a copper mine, just a little green here and there. Interesting mine and excellent explanation of the mine layout.
It's great you met the owners and got permission to explore it! Could you call this an abandoned active mine since it's a patented claim? Private property mines seem a little different.
The lower vs middle level was 400 or 500 feet. Then went down maybe 100 foot at the most on the middle level. That leaves 300 or 400 feet between for the chutes to travel. That is a long ways without more levels. You would think are more levels. Guess you wouldn't know for sure without roping down them.
19:37 That lift section is built on an old truck frame. 25:56 What is alarming, is that the rungs are bent down in the middle. What were they carrying? 34:24 In this area, I saw a lot of holes with steels still left in them. Used to tie off to perhaps? **Just my opinion: The demolition job was sloppy when compared with older mines like the miners were learning as they went. Still a nice explore with a couple of surprises.
Oh! you used that old plythora "word"...ha,ha. Did this owner get the claim transfered to him recently? When was the mine originally opened and worked? (did the caretaker know any of the history?) When you were in the "upper" lever the recognition of the creative ladders was a good observation by you Gly. Looks like the mineral was "petering" out on the higher adet. Glad that you two got the O.K. to explore this "claimed" mine. GOOD EXPLORE...thanks.
What I don't get is, bats hang upside down and there's poop all over the place. If I hung upside down and pooped, I'd have.....well, I won't go into details, know what I mean, Vern?
This mine, at least the parts you showed off in this video, seemingly hasn't been worked in years. How much effort is involved with keeping a patented mine claim active? It seems like someone now has a private hunting preserve on government land.
Laura needs to get her rabies vaccination and HRIG (Human Rabies Immune globulin) ASAP if not already up to date. In any contact with a bat one should assume the bat has rabies.
Kudos to the owner! Thanks for letting gly and Laura documenting your mine.

Thank you for coming out!! We really appreciate it! He doesn't let many people out here.
“Gly”: Thank you very much, we had a great time! 👍
It's always a good feeling to show others what most will never see. Thanks for the invite!
A big thank you to the owner!
Yeah..Laura handled direct hit from bat REALLY WELL....
I liked...new eating profile....Brilliant!
Been enjoying the channel since start...😊
How cool to get invited inside!! I hope more opportunities like this come your way!

This was an interesting mine.wow so many steel latters and equipment. Yes! Thanks to the owners to let you in exploring. just love this stuff.
Nice mine.... Had to lol at the bat and helmet collision at 32:50, too funny!
That Bat ran right into Laura. Gly,she handled that well
You made me jump and spill my coffee, when that bat hit Laura.
😂
Laura, you took that bat in the head, like a pro. Thanks for letting us see this mine. Fantastic.
Taking a bat to the head made Gly who he is today!😂😂
Super cool seeing that ore cart cage, pretty rare, thanks guys for showing yet another cool explore😊
Those were the early aluminum ladders ❤
Thanks Gly & Laura very interesting mine. Nice surprise to see that extra adit with rail hidden on level 2. New venture how many private mines can you get permission to document... Never seen before. Stay safe looking forward to the next. 👍

Over all, one cool mine. They really hauled a lot of materials out, looked very productive.
Awesome mine. I can think of a couple of nuts
Pretty good on cans
If ever you find yourself in an abandoned mine, they are your buddies, and you got to love them. best wishes for the New Year.
Thanks guys. Hope your new "eating profile" is good to you both! Be safe.
Cute little mine😊 was a dull moment ❤
Thanks for all the hard work over the past year, looking forward to next year’s offerings and the new Chanel coming live, happy new year to you both.

Neat and clean cut. Love the wood work. An excellent mine.
That rung gave it's all to Gly 😢 it was good One Thank's
Thanks for the Saturday explore video. Thanks to the mine owner for the permission to explore his mine. Happy New Year to all.
So the helmet for bat protection 🤔 😊
Thanks for the video. Less than 5 minutes in and I’m loving both of you having cameras. It must make the editing a bit longer if assume.
Thanks for another mine adventure, Gly and Laura!
Your back ...
Festive greetings..
Thank you very much. GOD bless you both.
❤ HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! To my two favorite mine explorers. Yes I’ll be donating next year. Thanks for adding Laura as a positive teammate 😊
Thank you for all of your support this past year, Tina 😊!
@ absolutely 👍 and onward and upward.
Tons of bats but no Bruce Wayne. 🤣
I noticed that Laura took a direct hit (on her helmet / face) from one of the bat inhabitants 🦇 😬🫣 …. 🧨⛏🧨⛏🇬🇧
I didn't realize the bat actually hit my helmet until we reviewed the footage. Good thing I ducked! That bat came out of nowhere.
Thank you.
There’s some Schlichting guy in Canada 🇨🇦 that has an old mine on his property, perhaps if asked real nicely he might let y’all explore it 😀 🤣🤣 ✌️🤙
Ya, go up and visit him Gly. Maybe he'll put you up over night at their house.

Thanks for this video. Glad that no one disturbed what might have been old explosives. Looking forward to the next video!
Sure, they let you in for nothin, but to get out, you have to dig 2 tons of ore! ; )

Inviting Gly for dinner I want to cook. My specialty, chitterlings lol. Gly won't walk through the door I know.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Why is Laura hunched over? LOL
Mexican hack ladder
Interesting mine. Not to exciting except for all the timberline that seemed out of place. Not a very logical lay out.

The bat never hit my face. It hit my helmet.
