I just have to say I love that you’ve gone back to the original intro , the music , the antics , the finding your footing , the butt scratch - simply love it .
Gly, watching you extrude yourself through those collapsed openings gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "Get your butt in here!" It's fascinating to watch you two walking through miles of mines, but even more staggering to imagine every piece of that solid rock being removed by hand! Mining has to be an addiction; people will do anything to feed their habit.
Watching these videos I'm always in awe of how much physical labor goes into these mines... I've done some hard work in my life, but never to this level. Cheers to the miners who risk their lives so we can have fancy rocks and minerals, and cheers to you all for allowing us to witness the results!
As always, big thanks to you both Gly and Lady Laura Being British, I don't notice the young lady's posterior when she is in front If I did, I fear my monocle would fall out and my fellow gentleman would consider me to be a scoundrel and a cad Nice work both of you Stay safe 👍
Indeed, people like me really do love your channel and the explorations you do. I also love that you respect the historical value of the mines and leave things unmolested. I appreciate all the effort you put into this, and I still don't know why you don't have a million subscribers. I almost can't wait most times for a new video to come out.
Looking forward to this Saturdays video. Just so you know, i’m not laughing and other people shouldn’t be laughing. You may be doing a job that you love, but driving, hiking, climbing, crawling and any of the other crazy scenarios you put yourself in is hard on the body, yet you go out and do it almost non stop. I commend you for your drive and dedication and thank you always for sharing the experience. Also thank you Laura for joining Gly on his adventures! Take care ❤
Great mine exploration, and I love the quick and dirty format for Wednesdays, as you can get so much done on a large site without feeling like you have to stop and look and comment on every rock for your fans. Great format for mid-week, and it keeps us hungry for Saturday's adventure!
What type of rock were the miners digging thru? Its so jagged. You say that they're mining for Gold. Except when you got all the way to the end of the main adet, there were no exposed mineral veins.Just watching you two with your long legs and your both tall, that you can just put a "leg up" or jump across it seems not to take much excertion. Not for us short legged people. Laura is sure some trooper. I don't recall at her age that I would have tackled this ruff terrain, but you both say that you "like your work/job". We like watching you. Thanks for your excertion.
I knew we were long lost brothers. I’ve got my mother’s genes as well from the fatherland of Germany. My dad is also German so I had no hope but to be “big boned” aka husky. 😂😂 Loving the Wednesday return to original with a Laura. More exploring and more coolness.
Australia always watching , Love how your developing the channel all are interesting and great episodes . Haven't missed one yet . God Bless and live life to the fullest
Hi Gly and Laura. Love y’all! I wondered if you would ever camp overnight in a big mine or if you always finish up within a few hours? Thank you for all y’all do- so brave!
Enough bellyaching Victor!!!! LOL!!! I just want you 2 to know i really enjoy watching you guys, now twice a week, and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. Both of you!!!!!!
some one in front for scale of tunnel, yes like Frank and Sharon or Tom and Julie who loves to walk out in font out side, and You two, and I will see you Sat. when I log back in. Thank you for the content
You should switch it Up ane have Luara do the Same exaxct Intro, and on Way into the Mine fart, and kinda fan it with Hand 😂 That would be Cute and Funny.
Laura an amazing job again. Very interesting mine ,, especially that section that looked like an Egyptian archway area. But wait Laura ,, Gly s but or Frank s but 😂
@@FalkorsTale haha 😆 true 👍 but is a family friendly comment community 🤣 those not in the know can be daily go experience Frank or should I say Franks crack for themselves 😐✌️
About "Size & Scale", Gly you may have said it once upon a time ago but we need your height dimensions if your leading the camera or Laura's, if she's leading the camera. Either way, It looks tight in some areas in those mines I know I won't be climbing around in there. Have a good and safe day !
Another great video Gly. I have a question for you. When they a dig a tunnel into a mountain how do they dig it at a certain grade and keep the same grade throughout the tunnel? Looking forward to Saturday.
Chipmunk mode is the best! Nice job, Laura. Looking forward to Saturday. So a question. Is your video documentation coordinated with known mine maps or Google Earth? How is it being preserved since some day those mines won't be accessible? Will there someday ( far future) be a video museum or something for historical access?
“Gly”: I have every mine I’ve ever documented waypointed on an electronic map so when I’m long gone there will be an electronic record of where I’ve been all across the western US.
Hi, I dont know why they would spend the effort to square off the back like that particularly when that shape is inherantly unstable. Ive seen mines particularly shale ones where the flat back drops material from the centre making it a rounded shape which then becomes much more stable, less ground fall after that. Cheers Daniel.
Every time you scratch your rear end in the opening credits looks like you are trying to put your hemorrhoids back in, God forbid you shut old Bobs door on them, LOL
I’m going with a yes on that , considering when they came upon water at the 400 level in last vid one of the reasons not to go on was water not good for the gimbal 👍
Ahh. Can dig it? A little Laura and Gly about 3 years old both running up the mine shaft away from gly hiding in the darnedest places. Causing earthquakes in California. Ahh warm the heart all those family scenes. Ummm hmmm. 🤔
I'm loving the Wednesday output, in addition to the Saturday instalments. I don't think Laura should "smile more" to the camera, like a trained monkey but - I'm sorry Gly - I would definitely prefer her to take the lead :) Keep it up you two - I'm loving this
Be awesome if Gly coolness took the lead Sport in’ a crack cleaner held in place with the suspenders 😐🤣 🤔 might be something to consider when they do the swimsuit calendar 🫢
I love seeing Laura build confidence as a narrator and camera person. This was a fun adventure and I look forward to Saturday!
I just have to say I love that you’ve gone back to the original intro , the music , the antics , the finding your footing , the butt scratch - simply love it .

Really liking the Wednesday videos. I am looking forward to Saturdays video. Great job you two.
You two have great chemistry and brilliant sense of humor. Love it.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another great addition to my Wednesday morning routine! Thanks Gly, always great to see where you are taking us!

Any chance the two of you will head north and see Franks Mine maybe a little compaction you and Frank vs.. Laura and Sharron.

21:57 That is one giant can of Hills Brothers coffee, Gly.
Love chipmunk mode😅 great video Gly ,Laura last mine looked rather sketchy, see you sat❤
Hills Bros. Coffee! Good day
Aye, c.1922-32. I found a field guide for identifying these, because of course there is.

Hi Gly and Laura. Love y’all! I wondered if you would ever camp overnight in a big mine or if you always finish up within a few hours? Thank you for all y’all do- so brave!
Good video. With Laura walking behind you, her light is making a shadow. This making it harder to see the mine as you walk.
I love the midweek videos but keephaving to remind myself. Look forward to Saturday's adventure.
Greetings from Russian speleologists. Great UA-cam channel, we're watching you!
Awesome , mine and all the adits, shafts , mineralization, and especially the old coffee cans those are cool. Be safe see you Saturday!🙂👍🏼
Enough bellyaching Victor!!!! LOL!!! I just want you 2 to know i really enjoy watching you guys, now twice a week, and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. Both of you!!!!!!
Can't hardly wait until Saturday. Thanks for taking me on this awesome explore. Be safe yawl.
Good morning from Syracuse NY everyone

Hello from Boston, MA
Love those adits. Thanks. Each one different. Excellent work guys. Love it all. Thanks.
Another home run. Laura adds a nice feminine touch Gly. I like the humor between you twk mids.😅

Hey hey hey:) I think that 5 gal square can was Hills Bros
Thank you both. GOD bless you both
I was so tempted to leave that timestamp. 😉
@35:00 the wall to the left looks sparkly ✨️
Why would miners put in an air door and restrict ventilation?
To think that once it was bristling with workers and digging all those tunnels.
it almost feels unreal like a whole other realm of existence.
Laura an amazing job again. Very interesting mine ,, especially that section that looked like an Egyptian archway area. But wait Laura ,, Gly s but or Frank s but 😂
Never get a good look at franks he moves like a roadrunner 🤣😆
@@rawbsworld6604 The Crack is pretty well documented, though 😅

Badassery on Laura's part, you go girl
Awesome mine

Gly, if you don't mind me asking, what keeps you from using the zoom function when looking far ahead or down/up at something? Thanks!
What is the name again of the bad air example video?
Good morning from North Port Fl.
Mornin’ ☕️ North Port 🙋♂️
What was that sound by the sprite can ?
Chipmunk mode is the best! Nice job, Laura. Looking forward to Saturday.

Ahhh yes the belching beaver me so honey blonde episode was the recon video of these mines

At 8:30 Gly starts talking about a video on Daily Dose of Internet showing Death Cave. I can't seem to find it. Any help?
So, no one saw this?
Laura: I’d sure like a new gold ring.
Gly: here’s a pick get to swinging.
Every time you scratch your rear end in the opening credits looks like you are trying to put your hemorrhoids back in, God forbid you shut old Bobs door on them, LOL
“Gly”: No, not hemorrhoids.. a tick! 🕷️
At 7:53 there is a Smily😊 above the collapse😅
The devil has a sense of humor
This footage is soo smooth!! Are you using a gimbal?
I’m going with a yes on that , considering when they came upon water at the 400 level in last vid one of the reasons not to go on was water not good for the gimbal 👍
“Gly”: Yes, and other post production tricks. 👍
OK I'm back from the previous recon episode.
You two are gonna be funny 🐿️
Gly, you don't HAVE a butt! LOL just kidding love the videos no matter who's in front!
That one coffee can might have been hills Brothers
Why would, they block the air flow with a door?
Someone up the shaft would float air muffins down the line, they got sick of traveling farts.
Ahh. Can dig it? A little Laura and Gly about 3 years old both running up the mine shaft away from gly hiding in the darnedest places. Causing earthquakes in California. Ahh warm the heart all those family scenes. Ummm hmmm. 🤔
The bottle was from the prohibition era. One would have a doctor prescribe "medicinal whiskey" for the nerves from a drug store.
When you gonna Scuba Dive with underwater cameras in those flooded levels $$$
Let us know if the mine farts.
Can you walk like an Egyptian?
Is that gold?????

It sounds so "Cute" when everybody's in "Chipmunk" mode!
Sounds like my ex wife telling me off 🤣
2x FTW!! 🤣😝🤣
Tell more of what mineral they were going after in these mines
No "Nuggets" in the Honey Pot!😊
Seriously, did you just say you were wearing your mother's jeans???! : 0
❤👍👍👍👍
You should never wear your mother’s jeans exploring mines. Thanks for the PSA, good to know
Mr. Gly, how are your legs and feet doing?
Women have global awareness and guys more focused awareness. Laura sees stuff that Gly trucks right past.
H2S
Probably find some you tubers old card
So, just explore, nice adits, ore shoots. Lets go to the other adit.
@Laura Laura, with all due rerspect, please smile more. You have a very nice smile. (cameras)
