That makes sense, the China-Saudi relationship has been growing. For the Saudis, the Russians are basically competition in the energy business, but China is a customer. They have every reason to get close to the Chinese.
The Saudis also buy Russian oil/gas, repackage them and sell to most of Europe. So there's some symbiosis there.
Saudis need Russian cooperation to push up Crude prices. Without that, their fiscal spending is doomed.

If there was a F-35 , carrying Nuclear Bomb to delivere, then if it was shot down by either Russia or America or even Iran then where was the location of that hit and what country has the remains of that plane and cargo???
This story has been ridiculed by Scott Ritter. I belive him more than Escobar.
Russia has air to air missiles with incredible ranges. They shot down lots of Ukrainian aircraft from very long range and the pilot was hundreds of km from the border and shot from behind without warning. It’s plausible that they could have destroyed an F35 from a very long range. A Mig 31 flying over the Caspian Sea could reach quite a way down into Iran or Iraq.
