Thanks so much! For many years, people have told me I speak too fast. I grew up in the city and that’s how we roll. Since I started my UA-cam channel, many people have told me they love ❤️ my voice. Thanks! It makes me feel good.
Thank you so much for these tutorials. I have been binge watching your videos and I am so mad with Brother over their worthless videos. Anyway, so glad I found you because I wear my Cricut out but my Scan N Cut 350, I barely used over the last several years. All your tutorials tips have been working perfectly for me and now I am loving my SNC. So excited to use it with good results. You have a new subscriber and a new Stamping Up customer! I’m doing a happy dance!
Thanks Gisela, your comment made my day! I have videos on the CM300, CM350 and SDX125 on this channel. I hope you can apply concepts from any model. I just emailed you as well.
I just want you to know how you have changed my life by using my Brother Scan and cut. It has saved me so much time and you have really opened up my creativity and confidence. Thank you so much!
Suzanne, I really appreciate your comment. It is my goal to teach my viewers so that you can all go make beautiful things and share the love. Glad I could help and I'm glad to see you here.
Another great tutorial Kim, thanks! I love that you are not only an expert with the ScanNCut but that your into Stampin Up! Your tutorials are always a "win win" for everyone! Awesome job Kim, oh and your brother will love his birthday card!
Well after my viewers wrote and told me my golf cart was a 4-wheeler, I wasn’t feeling like an expert. Then, I asked my hubby and he told me I needed to change the card because my Brother will know. He is a gold expert. LOL. I appreciate your comment.
Kim I hope you feel better. I was wondering why I hadn't seen much of you lately. I always look forward to your videos. Everything I do with my Scan and Cut, I've learned from you. Looking forward to what's next.
Thanks Yvonne! It kicked my butt to the point of not even having a appetite. Glad I’m better because I have so many ideas swirling around in my head that I want to share. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much. In this case, the stamped images really needed the extra dimension but my meerkats from last week were so cute as they were. I like changing things up for my viewers like YOU.
Hi Dar, thanks for signing up for my courses. They are all pre-recorded and never expire. You can watch them anytime. You can download the courses to your mobile device. To access them, go to Udemy.com and then click on My Learning. There, you will see the courses you are enrolled in.
Oh I have lots of Basics tutorials and courses but I always like to make each video stand alone so that anyone can follow along no matter the skill level. Thanks for watching Mary.
@@PaperedChef I just spent a couple of hours cutting out some stamped images-thanks to you! woohoo :D However I did have some problems scanning. Sometimes it would scan everything and cut perfectly, the next time it would refuse to recognize a few of the characters, or it would only cut out the eyeballs! ugh I did start to isolate to avoid that, but it was a pain.
Thanks for your scan & cut videos. I have learned quite a bit from watching you. One thing I am hoping you can address in a video would be cutting out a printable on full sheet sticker paper with half cut option. I have tried a few and the Brother seems to half cut some, go around as tho cutting others and does not and in the end some are not cut through enough to get off sticker backing. This was why I bought the dx125 and I have to admit I’m a little disappointed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! I hope you continue with your tutorials.
Thanks Cindi, I appreciate your comment. I have done several videos on creating stickers and on cutting vinyl. I think this tutorial should help and I have several other links I can share. ua-cam.com/video/B6EuuZz0Mok/v-deo.html
Papered Chef thanks for responding. I had watched that video. My issue is the new dx125 will scan in my printed images on my sticker paper, I choose half cut, it “cuts” around the images. But when removing sticker paper off mat I find some images cut around just not deep enough to remove cleanly as a kiss cut sticker and other images, although I watch the blade go around them, they did not cut at all. since it is an auto blade I am not sure how to adjust that.
Cindi Berry Oh, this is why I love my CM350 - much more control. Try increasing the pressure and then just turn off the Half cut if that doesn’t work. The stickers will cut cleanly but just not be easy to remove.
@@PaperedChef I really like your style! That's why I purchased 2 of your Udemy classes after I got my dx125! I've learned so much. I'd appreciate it if you'd talk about the smoothing function. I think that's what I need for the hearts on the pleased as punch dsp. If you've already done a video could you point me to it? Keep up all the extremely helpful tips! If not for you, I'd only have cut out a few stamped images by now.
Crystal Muirhead Awesome! Thanks for taking my courses. Oh yes, I have the Pleased as Punch dsp as well. I didn’t try cutting it out yet. I will put your request on my list. I’m trying to show a Drawing tutorial soon and have a couple of projects I’m working on.
HI If you don't mind I have another questions. I would like to purchase some of your courses. I have recently purchased the SDX 1200. Will your older courses cover this machine. Thanks for your quick response to my last question
Hi Karen, thanks for your support. I have two courses which cover the SDX125 and all of the SDX models are similar and mainly differ due to when and where they are released, files included, etc. The settings differ very little. So, I recommend the SDX125 course and the Card Making for the Brother ScanNCut course. There are links in the videos and even though the coupons are expired, I still get credit when you use my links in my videos. I’ll reply with the videos so you can watch the introductions.
Here is a link to the introductory video for my SDX125 course. You can see the projects I cover in the course. They are all different than the projects I cover on UA-cam. ua-cam.com/video/g3cizXTlIbk/v-deo.html
When it does its little sample of comparing the paper to the mat, it hit a spot and for some reason, it thinks I have thick paper. When I can see that I had a clean cut the first time, I stop it so that it doesn't cut again for no reason. Thanks for your question.
Yes, I have several tutorials on Canvas Workspace and I also teach more about that in my online courses on Udemy. Here is a link to a tutorial I think you will like on making boxes. It uses an online site and Canvas Workspace. ua-cam.com/video/8FPQ5R44puw/v-deo.html
Hi Maryam, I actually like my CM350 better because it does a better job of cutting stamped images. So, it depends on the job I’m doing. I cut loads of card stock for Christmas projects and my SDX125 was a total work horse. When you cut thick materials and the same projects over and over, the SDX125 is the way to go because it is quiet, fast and consistent. I all my whole fleet of die cutting machines all of the time and they are always chugging along.
I'm glad you pointed it out; I kept talking to the screen every time she said golf cart, lol! And, yes, they are WAY more fun. Ms Chef must be a city girl! But I sure have learned a lot from her.
Thanks Sheri, I didn’t even notice that and I hope the golf theme works with it because my brother’s birthday card was well thought out. If not, he will get a good laugh and know I tried.
This is the SDX125. You can see the model under the screen. You can use this technique on other models of ScanNCut machines as well. Thanks for watching.
Whatever you do..please don't get rid of that lovely, husky voice! It keeps me entertained while you throw down the knowledge. Feel Better:-)

Great masculine stamp set! Love your designs and projects! 😀
Thanks so much. This stamp set is so well defined so I’m happy that the graphics were easy to color.

Hi Kimberly, Love your video, and the projects made with the stamp set and the SNC, TFS, Cheers Anna.
Thanks Anna, glad to see you here again.

My good mat does that every once in a while too. It works fine the rest of the time 😊
My mat was supposed to behave for this video but I’m glad I’m not alone. That is my “good” mat.

Just FYI, the “golf cart” is a side by side 4 wheeler (way more fun than a golf cart)
I'm glad you pointed it out; I kept talking to the screen every time she said golf cart, lol! And, yes, they are WAY more fun. Ms Chef must be a city girl! But I sure have learned a lot from her.
And if we're going to get technical, the bike is a dirt bike!
Crystal Muirhead Oh yes, I’m a city girl. I hope it can be used as a gold cart since I made my brother’s birthday card with it already. LOL.
Thanks Sheri, I didn’t even notice that and I hope the golf theme works with it because my brother’s birthday card was well thought out. If not, he will get a good laugh and know I tried.

Does not look like it cute the cardstock that good, edeges dont look that great🤔
Yes, I addressed that in the video. It was time to sharpen my blade which I did after I was done recording.
