You singlehandedly are saving the use of ScannCut. I know it has the capability, I just have difficulty with the learning curve! The tutorials *you* provide far surpass what Brother currently offers.

I figured this out the other day for making an offset base layer for sublimation on a cotton tshirt. I made the offset big enough to remove any internal holes in the base layer, then backed it downward with the inset.

Thank you for this, so helpful. One question, can the interior cut outs be removed at h, a, and n on Thank You?
In this technique i used outline around the outside only to make the matting layer, as thats what i was asked about. But if you untick outside only in canvas it will cut outside and inside of a path cut line, these layers were designed to cut around a drawn word not a cut word
How do you get it to draw first instead of cut first? In the layers panel?
If you are using canvas for computer and want to reorder, select the layers panel and just drag to reorder. But once the design is on your scanncut cut machine you just select draw first, then when thats done choose cut, it doesn't really have to be in a specific order.
i bought the SNC for many years. not many times I successfully create a project. I do not aware that the software is difficult to understand and to use, and no manual from Brothers. it also accepts very minimal file formats that 95% of the time it can't view/accept my file. I'm in a city where there's not even classes available. The machine is kinda waste to me.
