Great Tone ... Great Amp Handwiring ... Great playing! I built this same amp (Mojotone 18 Watt TMB head) and it's been my everyday player ever since completion ... getting ready for a Mojotone 45 Watt Bluesbreaker (combo) project next! Great video!

Impressive video and work, but can you please do a video with just a guitar plugged straight in to the amp with no effects and no post production processing? Like maybe a video recorded straight into a mobile phone and then posted, so I can hear what the amp really sounds like without all the smoke and mirrors audio studio magic that are obviously added to this video? I'm not trying to be negative in anyway. This video sounds great, but I want to hear what the amp sounds like by itself with just a guitar.
I don’t have the amp anymore. And in fact one part of this video is just the amp without any pedals. Recorded with the ox directly to logic. No processing. The reverb and delay are from the ox. That’s the exact sound of the amp.
@@argbluesman cool, thanks. It sounds great. I didn't want to sound negative, but I was thinking of building this kit, and I just wanted to hear a raw "unprofessional" video. Lol!
@@argbluesman well done! so far I've built 2 amps: JTM45, and a Ceriatone OTS FM50 ME mod(also the C-Lator to go along with it). It feels great to build and play your amp doesn't it? ...keep these great videos coming!
@@argbluesman it was quite complicated, but, I studied the circuit and layout for weeks before tackling the build. And I copied the exact lead dress from some hi-res photos that are linked on their product page. The amp is dead quiet! And sounds so damn good too!
Excellent playing as always! I'm curious if you swapped out all the resistors from carbon comp to these ones or did it come this way? I'm guessing these make the amp less noisy than the traditional carbon comp ones?
@@argbluesman Ok, cool. Thanks for answering. I’ve got a P-Reverb still on order but man, this amp is so tempting I almost want to switch my order. For sure I know this will be in my future.
@@argbluesman Yup. I’ve watched them multiple times. :) Such great playing. I think you could make any amp sound like the bee’s knees. Hehe. If you could only pick one of either the P-Reverb or the 18w TMB, which would it be and why? What about all of the amps you’ve played … which would be your desert island amp if you could only have one?
@@BoydTimothy I’d choose the PR always. I sold the tmb already. And still keep the PR. And I’ve ordered the custom 50 (hiwatt). Will see how that turns out. My favorite amp of all times is the two rock classic reverb signature.
Why did you play through a distortion pedal on an amp build video? That just makes no sense to me. You need to mix your snare hit softer. I'm guessing you have some tinnitus or hearing loss
1. You clearly did not watch the video. The first half is the guitar straight into the amp. The second one, using a pedal. That is for purposes of demonstration. What exactly is it that makes no sense? I can present my videos the way I like, that's why it is my channel, and not yours (which does not exist, by the way). The attractiveness of this amp is not the clean sound... it's the pushed/distorted tones. But I bet you already knew this. 2. I am using a backing track. I did not mix anything, and your assumptions are a bit ridiculous, to say the least. Your arrogance is not cool. Especially when you don't even have a channel and do not share any content to anyone. Most of my viewers are very nice to me, which I appreciate. Thanks for clicking on my video though!

Very tastefully done, thanks for the video!

Nice! Have fun! Great build.
Wow...sounds amazing!
Thanks!
I need to build one of these
Where's the reverb coming from if you're plugged straight in??
Tremendo sonido y toque Federico. Que tan fuerte suena, lo ves conveniente para usarlo en casa a volumen normal sin matar a nadie ? Saludos !
Si, sin dudas. El máster es justamente para eso, anda muy bien!

Hello ... Is it the combo kit? I ask this question because I see that the words on the faceplate are in the correct orientation when viewed from above
Yes. Combo.
Where is this backing track from???
Great demo and build ! Did you also use a reverb pedal, or was it added after the recording ?
The reverb is from universal audio ox.
@@argbluesman OK. Thanks ! I'm looking forward to building a few amps myself soon 🙂
Stunning tone and playing. Is this the red Memphis 335 on some of your videos?
No. It’s the burst 63 reissue 335.
@@argbluesman thanks. It sounds great!
Delay also if you are plugged straight in??
Both delay and reverb are from the universal audio ox. The description clarified that this was recorded using the OX.
I noticed on of the inputs was replaced with a pot
What is the function of this mod
Thanks
It’s a master volume. That’s the beauty of the “TMB” circuit.
