I've got this theme spinning in my head since yesterday, playing over this backing track ("J"amín backing tracks) so I thought I should record it. Kind of a "sad"vibe going on, but lot of fun to improvise over it😎

Over the past 50+ years I have seen all the rock/metal guitar greats live, except Hendrix (although my wife did see Jimi play twice :)...and I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone better than Igor. His technical dexterity, phrasing-control, and inner connection to emotion, melody, etc., are second to none. Thank you, for sharing your gift with us. The music world is a far better place because of it.

That kind of improvisation only comes from a stratospheric level of musical commitment. More talent in his pinky than in both of my hands!
I find myself singing my own ballad lyrics to this melody. WhT a gift Igor has. As many people have said, I could listen to this guy all day. He brings about a special kind of connection from his playing to my heart. What an amazing human. ❤
Why dies everyone think there has to be words. He's telling a whole story with his guitar. But you're so worried about words you're not listening to the story He's telling. Get the wax out

Igor is out of this planet! Such amazing technique and feeling. Master Piece even when he was only jamming for a while. He really knows how to meander along the fretboard with surgical accuracy and melody.

Excellent. Interesting head, opening sequence solfege. Lends itself the words easily. I love your pattern playing. It's clean and fast but makes sense. It's never fast for the sake of fast or shred for the sake of shred. It's always in context. It's always masterfully done. Well done sir.

I sold me guitar almost 2 years ago. Thinking I wasn't good as an intermediate and going in circles with modes. Watching this now I realized I was actually good because I used to improvise to this backing track. Not as good as your level of technique, but good enough to keep on playing and improving. Might buy a new guitar soon and back at it as a hobby

Yes, there are other "greats". But I have to give the nod to Igor. If you go through his entire catalog of what's on YT, his improvisations, emotions, timing and skills to me are like no other. Other great guitarists on YT have some very very good instrumentals but not all that many compared to Igor. Some are mainly teachers and only occasionally release a complete playthrough. The exception to this would be Panos Arvanitis. These two are simply by far the very best on YT. Their catalogs speak for themselves!
