I have made these basically every night for a week, my daughter who usually hates vegetables and beans tried these the first time I made them and now she loves them and wants one every night. She is autistic so hard to get her to like anything especially something that is good for her. So been making these and going to freeze them to keep her in sliders. Every day she asks me if I can keep making them. Great recipe, but now I have a falafel monster.
Wind Flower I had a vegan friend growing up who is autistic and had a very hard time finding things he liked. he loved falafels as well! We made them everytime he came over
you can save lot of time , easily buy falafel dough " prepaid " from grocery store or arab grocery store .. all to do to fry it .. also you have fill pan with oil to end , soak balls on it .. will get nice brown color ,original falafel as made in middle east ... the way she cook it not the good one
I don't know if I've ever commented here. But I have been making these for years for my annual family vacation at the beach. They are a HIT!! So easy and absolutely delicious 😋
Another way you can cook falafel patties - without oil - is to bake them in the oven for about 20 mins at 200 degrees Celsius on a baking paper lined tray... when I first tried it this way I thought they would stick to the paper, but you leave them on the tray to stand (on the countertop) for about 5-10 mins and then they come off the paper easily.
Delicious - my family enjoyed this amazing treat. We did throw in more veggies - Persian cucumber, heirloom tomatoes, red onions on ciabatta bread. The best part was we didn't feel heavy after the meal. Didn't take much time either. Thanks so much and keep 'em coming.
Loved this! I did use cilantro instead of parsley for more flavor. Definitely making again. They would be better fried (for crunch factor) but for health reasons, sautéing as suggested works too. Love, love, love the 2 sauces! Thanks Chloe.
Wow! I tried the tahini sauce and the falafel burgers and they turned out great! What a way to start the new year. The tahini sauce is amazing I didn't expect it to taste that good. A very good substitute for mayonnaise.
Why does everyone talk so much shit on UA-cam? I've tried around 6 of her recipes and they never let me down, so delicious, and I have to say this is my favorite with the in n out burgers coming in second place. And I'm not even vegan
I always get the falafel from a Greek restaurant near my college campus but it is so expensive! Thank you so much for this recipe it is delicious and I have the remaining patties in my freezer to eat during finals week! The best veggie burger I have made so far. It's better than my black bean patties :)
Just made it! Added more spices tho and bell peppers and fresh tomato and it tasted great! :) I also made it super spicy by adding crushed chilli and green chillies, oh and a bit of lemon juice! I'm not vegan but trying to slowly transition to eating meat max once a week so this was great :)
I made this this afternoon and OMG it was absolutely delicious!!! The avocado hummus made it all better! I think im goung to mske this atleast 2x a wk!!
I made them and they were perfect!! I didn't have chickpea flour so I used buckwheat flour. yummie deliciouness! I also baked my own whole wheat burger buns... mmmm...
So i ended up making these. I didnt have cheakpeas so used red beans instead. It was FANTASTIC ! The spices, the herbs, the onion.... Everything all togther was perfect. Forget the californian accent, the recipe is amazing !!!! i will do it again for SURE !
I made these for a dinner party a year ago and everybody loved them! It's my go to falafel burger recipe now! I never tried the sauces though, I just spread on some humous and mango chutney and it was amazing!
Awesome! I like that the guys were open to trying new things. I recently ate Falafel with a Pineapple Tahini Sauce that was SO good. --- glad I found your channel.
Thanks to Chloe Coscarelli! When I first watched this video I was a junk food vegan who thought the only way to get my veggies was by eating bland disgusting salads! Thank you for this recipe, because it was amazing, and thank you for inspiring me to get creative with my food and showing me that there are different ways to eat healthy!
I find it funny when people say I've never tried vegan food before or this is the first time I've tried vegan food. Like they have never had an apple or a banana before, never had a salad, peanut butter & jelly sandwich, jam on toast, baked beans on toast, veggie curry, veggie soup with bread and not a single meal free from animal products in their lives.
You do realise that the thing you just described does actually happen in real life right ? That this is even why there is such a thing as a "food desert" qualification in the US, and that this classification is not JUST about the lack of availability of fresh produce , and fresh veggies and fruits. But also about the fact that the eating culture in which you grow up is so meaty that kids can't even concieve a snack not containing an animal product of any kind. So in reality it is not exactly funny but in fact quite sad AND alarming ...
I never tasted falafel's before. I made these yesterday and they were delicious! My daughter loves falafels and she gave the a thumbs up. The avocado hummus was delicious too!
I love the ending. She is so upbeat and cheery. And then she meets the warehouse guys who tell her they expected vegan food to taste like dirt and cardboard. lol
The garbanzo/chickpea flour for keeping the patties together is genius. Nobody else I've seen uses it in a vegan falafel recipe. Now I have to figure out where to buy it!
Furaha Mungai I love falafel but I had this week alone: Duck, Skirt Steak, Baby Back Ribs, Prime Rib, Lox and Caviar. Think again. They're all so tasty AND healthy. Actually, of these falafel would probably give me the most stomach discomfort. Oops, I forgot, Filet Mignon too. But I had a salad with most of those meals with a healthy dose of EFA's. Always got to have EFA's.

Just made these with a friend! They're amazing! So flavorful and delicious. I have made so many vegan falafel fails in the past, I am so proud of these.
I replaced the parsley with cilantro, but other than that I kept it exactly the same--it turned out great! Well I used Mayo, because I'm not a vegan... and I put of steak on top... But other than that: EXACTLY the way you had it ;)
this is the first complex vegan recipe Ive seen that actually looks yummy and not like poop. good job. subscribed, liked, shared, favorited, and going to make this.
The recipe with the measurements is down below, and you can add as much Tahini sauce, and avocado sauce as you prefer. FALAFEL SLIDERS 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained, divided ½ red onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, quartered 5 sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained ½ cup packed fresh Italian parsley 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon sea salt ½ cup garbanzo flour (or other flour of choice) 2 tablespoons olive oil AVOCADO HUMMUS ¼ cup chickpeas, reserved from sliders 1 avocado, pitted and peeled 1/3 cup packed fresh Italian parsley ¼ cup olive oil 1 clove garlic 1 tablespoon lemon juice ½ teaspoon sea salt ¼ teaspoon cayenne TAHINI SAUCE ½ cup tahini ½ cup water 1 clove garlic 1 tablespoon lemon juice ½ teaspoon salt 14 mini buns or dinner rolls sliced in half, toasted 2 small tomatoes, thinly sliced To make the Falafel Sliders: Reserve ¼ cup chickpeas for the Avocado Hummus. Place remaining chickpeas, onions, garlic, tomatoes, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and flour in a food processor and pulse until combined, stopping frequently to scrape down sides. Using the palms of your hands, form mixture into 2-inch by ½-inch patties. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and pan-fry patties in batches, letting cook about 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until nicely browned. Do not crowd the pan. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
Making these for a NYE Party! I already made your spinach artichoke dip and it was AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your recipes, especially in a video format!
Great recipe! Instead of the sun dried tomatoes though, I used diced carrots and since I didn't have cumin or coriander alone, I used curry powder. And the avocado hummus....I could put it on everything!
4:24 she states no fat is in this recipe. She added 4 tablespoons of olive oil to the mixture, a shitload of olive oil to the pan to fry the sliders and tahini sauce had a lot of fat too. NOT LOW FAT!

I make a similar thing but with cayenne, paprika, chilli powder, cinnamon, salt and pep. They're amazing dipped in guacamole. But I am absolutely trying it with the coriander and cumin and parsley instead. What a nice idea!!! Thank you for this
I'm new to this channel but you're definitely one of my favourite chefs. I love that your recipes are tasty and just happen to be vegan. The focus is on flavour :) Keep up the great work!!!!!
+Amanda Adam (life1147) if you made it with canned chickpeas its possible that they already had salt in it... next time just buy unsalted canned chickpeas :D :*
+Amanda Adam (life1147) I made these tonight. The tahini sauce and the patty were way too salty (I used sea salt, don't know what she used). Good thing I tasted them first. I added more chick peas and flour and they weren't as salty. I added more tahini, honey and some yogurt to the sauce because it was too salty and too much garlic. After all that, the garlic was still strong. I'm glad I found this recipe though. I just altered it to fit my taste.
ok everybody needs to stop associating veganism with health just because it's vegan does not mean it has some type of health halo on it!!! :-) veganism doesn't have a damn thing to do with fat calories or carbs!!! do you know some is compassion love peace

I know exactly what you mean. I have had the same issue with my nephew. but he went from protein addict, to trying new foods.
Chloe seems really sweet. This is the first time I feel so willing to cook up something vegan.
I love her positive attitude . She sending good vibes man :)
I made these tonight for my dinner and they were amazing. Did them with both the sauces and the flavors were perfect. Thanks for such a great recipe!

Wow! I tried the tahini sauce and the falafel burgers and they turned out great! What a way to start the new year. The tahini sauce is amazing I didn't expect it to taste that good. A very good substitute for mayonnaise.
We ate these for dinner tonight. We added sprouts on top. Super yummy. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

Great video and recipe. Thanks. This has to be one of the tastiest-looking vegan burgers I've seen, comparing dozens of videos.

The recipe with the measurements is down below, and you can add as much Tahini sauce, and avocado sauce as you prefer.
FALAFEL SLIDERS
1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained, divided
½ red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, quartered
5 sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained
½ cup packed fresh Italian parsley
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ cup garbanzo flour (or other flour of choice)
2 tablespoons olive oil
AVOCADO HUMMUS
¼ cup chickpeas, reserved from sliders
1 avocado, pitted and peeled
1/3 cup packed fresh Italian parsley
¼ cup olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne
TAHINI SAUCE
½ cup tahini
½ cup water
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
14 mini buns or dinner rolls sliced in half, toasted
2 small tomatoes, thinly sliced
To make the Falafel Sliders: Reserve ¼ cup chickpeas for the Avocado Hummus.

Olive oil good fat
Just got done putting these together in the ol processor and am so excited to cook them up for lunch tomorrow!
Pours in tahini, says there is no fat in the recipe...... what
Looks good though.
+Stine Eriksen olive oil, avocado, chickpeas have fat in them but they are healthy fats
the oil isn't necessarily a healthy fat, but the whole foods like avocado and tahini are healthy.
I'm not saying if it's healthy or not. But it has fat in it either way :-)
i think she means no fat from breastmilk
I think she meant no added fat directly; she clearly would know the tahini has natural fat in it.
This is the first vegan meal I've tried and it is frickin awesome. Great recipe thanks

I made this and the flavor combination is amazing! Loved every single bite!
Don't forget to hit the "mute button", because the recipe is really good.
Making these tonight for my family tonight xx it looks amazing x
Almost all good vegan recipes need a food processor, I dont have one. What can I do?
Besides buying one.

Are you the one who owns the vegan restaurant by Chloe.
I make a similar thing but with cayenne, paprika, chilli powder, cinnamon, salt and pep. They're amazing dipped in guacamole. But I am absolutely trying it with the coriander and cumin and parsley instead. What a nice idea!!! Thank you for this
How cute is she?! I think i just fell in love.
I'm new to this channel but you're definitely one of my favourite chefs. I love that your recipes are tasty and just happen to be vegan. The focus is on flavour :) Keep up the great work!!!!!
Valley girl?
i just made this for lunch and it was sooo simple and EXTREMELY yummy!!!! thanks from a busy mother of four
I had made this at home and it's way to salty for me... One Teaspoon of salt is not a good idea at all.
+Amanda Adam (life1147) if you made it with canned chickpeas its possible that they already had salt in it... next time just buy unsalted canned chickpeas :D :*
I never buy can foods that as salt in them I'm very careful about that because I hate salty foods...
so you're like me x)
just tried to help... ill make them and for sure ill try it with less salt. thank you!
:)

Haha lol "it's actually the first time I try vegan food" :P So he never ate an apple or something :P
+YmkeK LMAO
YmkeK you've seen the meme 😏
By vegan food he obviously meant a vegan dish, apples are plain fruit, consumed by both vegans and non-vegans, there's no vegan label on it.
Made these today. Oh my..! They are sooo good!

I think I found my new favorite burger. I LOVE CHLOE and her recipes!
I'm sorry and I'm not sure where you live but tahini cannot be found at "any" grocery store ;)
You can order on line at VITA COST
Found mine at Sobey's.
chigimonky Trader Joe's. Fresh in a small plastic container.
chigimonky They sell Tahini even at Walmart!! Go look! I just saw it a couple days ago.
It's been 3 years since you posted, I'm sure now you can find tahini everywhere.
Oh my god, I just made it...and it tasted amazing!!!! 😍😋It's soooo delicious .
Nice recipe, but truly, i see no need for all that oil in the pan. One tbsp should be enough.
Thats because one teaspoon would cook it. She wanted to shallow fry it instead of deep fry, therefore more oil was needed than usual
my boyfriend and I just made these and they were delicious!! Definitely would recommend making! 😊
Looks like a krabby patty
Truly Baz omg 😲 yass
Love this recipe x it never gets old x I batch make and freeze x
@0:36 .. Wrt garbanzo flour, "it’s like a chickpea flour..". It's not "like", it IS a chickpea flour... 🙄 .. Must be because you’re “a California girl” 😑
I love Chloe! She is so sweet and looks amazing here! I really hope she gets her own show soon. I can't wait to get her new book in February :)
"No fat" lmfao...that recipe has days worth of fat.
I think she just meant no saturated fats, just natural fats :P
Arkaidyn How is olive oil natural? Obviously OLIVES are natural but the oil is processed and therefore unnatural (and not as healthy as we once believed).
Coconut oil is the healthiest oil to cook with according to my research.
Reverend Eslam I think you're thinking of REFINED olive oil
Jake Levinson No. I'm not an expert on the subject so I make what's known as a "judgement call".
OH. Well you are wrong
.....this is an AMAZING recipe. I omitted the sundried tomato, however!! Extremely yummy none-the-less!
Hahaaha the dudes at the end only tried it because shes super hot
This was delish!! My son really really loved it. The T-sauce was so good I use it on just about everything. So glad I found this recipe and channel. New subbie!!
