Jocko's taking the Pony for a ride on one of the TOUGHEST 4WD tracks in Australia! He's spent some long nights in the shed turning his beloved pony into a thoroughbred budget 4WD weapon! The little hilux is running bigger tyres, reduction gears, custom made DIY barwork, a homemade canopy, twin lokkas and there's a beast behind the wheel... will the pony survive 6 Stage in Yalwal?

Really loving this build. It’s a very realistic build for most people. Spend a few thousand on an old 4X, then wheel it. Then save a couple thousand, put upgrades on that are needed, then wheel it. Repeat process. It’s what most people end up doing. Much better than the typical build on UA-cam where someone may buy a older 4X, but then proceed to spend $15000 at once upgrading it without even wheeling to find what needs upgrades. Great job Jocko!

Thing with the LUX is keeping it light, Shaun and Graeme's rigs are heavy beasts where as the lux is light a nimble. Don't put too much shits on it.
When you go on month long excursions.. you tend to have shit with you haha. Grahams personal rigs are less dressed up tho. And they are effective rigs

@18:16. It seems there's some mineral/ gold traces settling along rocks crevice. Australia's outback is well known of Gold mine and others precious metal.. So admire of country endowed with rich natural resources and wonderful landscape.
