  • Oh My Gosh! It's Griddle Goulash!
Goulash is something I really enjoy but very rarely actually have. I got in the mood for it one day and decided to try to make a griddle version. The spices and tomato come together to deliver a haymaker of flavor right to the ol' taste buds. I was quite pleased with the turnout and hope you are as well if you give it a try. Thanks for watching and let's keep cookin!- Garrett the Griddler
    Recipe
    (Ingredients)
    1- Pound 80/20 ground beef
1- 7.5oz microwavable pasta (I went the easy route here you could always cook your own just undercook it a minute or so and finish on the griddle via plenty of butter, steaming and simmering)
    1-15oz can tomato sauce
1- 14.5oz can petite diced tomatoes (do not drain)
1- 14.5oz can of beef broth (You will use this as you go to keep a somewhat soupy consistency. I had just under 1/4 of the can left when I was done but could've used more if I wanted a more liquidy soup like consistency)
    1- Cup chopped onion
1- Cup chopped sweet peppers (I like to get the bag of petite sweet peppers to get more color at a cheaper price)
1- Cup Shredded cheese of your choice. (I went with Colby Jack because it's what I had on hand and I wasn't disappointed. I also like to take a little and garnish at the end with it.)
Spice Mixture- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning, 1/2 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp seasoning salt, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1/2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp black pepper
    (Directions)
Preheat your griddle to 425°F and lightly oil.
Add ground beef, onions and peppers and cook until the beef starts to get a nice crust and the onions and peppers golden up.
Mix the beef, onions and peppers together and slowly work in approximately half a can of the beef broth.
Throw down some butter on an open spot on the griddle and add your noodles and toss them around a little. Squirt some water as well and let them steam a tad. I didn't even microwave these just tore them open and added them on. Let them cook for a couple minutes while watching carefully and working on our meat mixture.
Add your spices to the beef, onion and peppers and toss it really good and let that flavor come out for a minute or so.
Take your spatulas and make a little well in the meat mixture and slowly add the tomato sauce and work it in well. Next work in the can of diced tomatoes and melt in the cup of shredded cheese. Add beef broth a little at a time as you mix to keep a somewhat runny consistency
Add in the noodles and mix really well. Use beef broth until you have your desired consistency
Garnish with cheese and parsley if desired.
    Hope you enjoy!

You missed the opportunity for 'sizzle me tender' and I don't know if I can forgive this.
