My boss ordered this same machine 3 weeks ago. It arrived yesterday. Been using it all day today and is definitely a well made machine!!!!! Nice welds, it’s almost dummy proof to use it, and lays some nice beads down!!!!! We were using and old miller that kept breaking down and not to mention he put about $4000 in the last year trying to keep it going!!!! This was just a better investment and he and I are both happy and ecstatic about this machine!!!
yesterday guys gave me 5000 pulse machine to test, its working amazing, it goes so smooth, best machine I have tried. good product. I assume its expensive too.
Audi, porsche, MB, BMW all require the TPS270i from fronius to weld their uhss steels and their aluminum. Been using it for a while now. It truly is the best stuff
Cool machine although probably overkill for the needs of most hobbyist welders. I've never played with a Fronius machine but I have Miller 350Ps in my welding program. Pulse is great for getting good penetration with low heat input which reduces distortion. Adding pulse to the spray transfer process allows you to weld out of position but is generally only used on thick material. Great video, looking forward to some Bibster updates.
Good video. Pulse is a great technology once you master it. I don't know how many hours you have on it so far, but if you start seeing some weird stuff happening, check with Fronius about using a phase converter. I've seen that manufactured leg do some REALLY weird stuff when used with electronics. I had a customer with a Petroleum pump that was tripping the electronic overloads, even when turned all the way up to 90 amps. He was only pulling about 20. Contacted Square D, and they told us that the o/l was also a phase and voltage protector, and saw the noise from the manufactured leg as a voltage issue, and shut it down. Cheers!
This is all old technology. My Lincoln S350 does this and more. Also runs on 2 or 3 phase. It connects to the internet so you can download more programs (Like 527 are not enough) and monitor or change all kinds of settings. Even the older 355 / 355M machines can do Pulse , etc
Could’ve saved this for “it’s Friday fool!!!!” Nice welder. I weld with old school stuff. Tech is getting crazy. That in between range is called globular transfer. It’s not desired but it still can be effective. Just can be a pain to clean sometimes.
Yeah we got 2 at work. I'm old Skool! I fight this thing every day 😡 I set it one day, save a program and it seems to be completely different the next. Running 725 gas 035 stainless and it SUX
Good presentation but a little deep for me on a MIG machine. If we're talking NDT testing, nuke functional gear I'm all in but we're not. At least not now. LOL. I'd like to see a demo of the arc pulse on a good camera and how it effects the puddle, and the necessity of moving the torch like we normally do. Fronius has a lot of great machines for general structural welding.
In Sweden it's standard with 3 fase 400v even if you just have a small summerhouse. Seems like you have a sponsorship from Fronius, one of the best out there for sure, but I like The German brand EWM a little bit better.
So Lincoln had pulse and STT over 15 years ago. It's not "new" Miller calls it RMD and pulse again not new. It's new to Fronius because they're new. And that hood is just the gadget I've never needed lol
They might be new in USA, Fronius is the Queen in Europe and this stuff is around for 20+ years here. This is just a new model with a few extra bells and whistles but we're used to all this stuff. I got this technology even in my garage 👍
No offense to Fronius and anyone else, but this isn't new technology. We were using this type of technology almost 20 years ago in an industrial application utilizing Miller Welders. Separate feed head electronic pulse with all different settings for the pulse. Slow it down speed it up change the frequency to have a square wave, round wave, triangular type wave. You name it, those machines had it. Plus we used wire feed drums or you could put a 100 pound spool on it. The one thing I don't care for and it's purely optics. The Fronius machines look like they are skinned in plastic. The other objection I would have is price point. Yes it won't have all the bells and whistles but a simple mig welder from Miller or Lincoln is very affordable for the home hobbyist. You can get a really rad welder that will do most anything the home hobbyist needs for easily under $700. Again no offense I'm sure they are nice welders, but in my opinion from I'm seeing it isn't anything new just reimagined I guess.
the front and back panels are a plastic which i have to say is really durable.. but the side panels and top are a steel coated in red. Fronius have had pulse for years as well bud.. these transsteel pulse migs are pretty new. The real machines are the TPS which blow anything away when it comes to arc control and results. All the major car manufactures use fronius CMT machine powersources on their robotic production line because theres nothing out there that can weld as fast as that while maintaining penetration profiles consistently. I wouldn't try put fronius in the same league as miller or Lincoln. you get what you pay for with a fronius.
@@Migman2020 I said "I'm sure they're great welders" but for the price point why would you buy one. For the home hobbyist not even a possibility. For a major fab shop ok. The company I worked for turned an annual profit for our share holders north of $50 million annually. Not one Fronius machine. A few Lincolns and more Miller's than anything. At the end of the day it's the welder not the machine. For obvious reasons the better the machine the easier it may be. As far as pulse, it seemed to me like it was being advertised as new technology when in fact it isn't. For the home hobbyist doing occasional welding, for the money buying a Fronius is like buying buying a roll back car hauler to pick up a scoop of mulch a couple of times a year. It doesn't make sense cost wise
So funny these guys never used wire feeders i swear if u have a shop / workspace u litterly can put ur welder or ur power source away just close to the outlet and u take ur wire feeder and hang it up in ur boom and ur done i sweead u shut try it
Don’t know why fronius even supports your channel bro you have no input into fronius at all,it’s all about Yu,and you ,and you, Bro unstitch your hand from where it shouldn’t be , Work that one out

That's awesome, glad to hear it. #fronius

HTP has this pulse technology and spray. Welding technology has come a long way.
Read comments like this makes happy and have bought a HTP welding machine 👍
Also download there app, helps figure out more of it with meterals and such. They are all we use at work.

Love fronius. Insanely good machines
you think this is good you should see what my tps320 can do when it comes to functions

Man I've been looking for info on fronius trans pulse synergic 4000 but all I can really find is the trans steel.....
I've used their tigs never migs
6:38 What in the world is that bolt head called? I've never seen a Chevy logo bolt head before.
That’s a torx25 with a flathead option
Could’ve saved this for “it’s Friday fool!!!!” Nice welder. I weld with old school stuff. Tech is getting crazy. That in between range is called globular transfer. It’s not desired but it still can be effective. Just can be a pain to clean sometimes.
Easiest powersource to clean ever

Good to see an update! Happy new year to you and your family. Rock on! Do work...son

Wow is that a plastic drive system? must be ok?
This Fool always Needs a new tool. Keep them coming.
Fronius needs to start making single phase welders like this
What gas mixture are they recommending?
Brilliant- thank you 😊
Another great video 👍👍🇨🇱
Kyle, you should do a video on your phase converter! Assuming you went with a rotary style?
Spatter* sorry bud. Had to correct that.
14 minute video about a welder with 20 seconds of welding
$8k out the store, damn!
Nice ass welders for sure wanted one since I saw them on this channel while back
I bought an HTP pro pulse because fronius does not make a single phase pulse machine.
Dummy Mode doesn't sound synergistic enough?
ONE BIG COMMERCIAL

3 phase was the deal breaker for me, wanted one bad, but just could not afford that part of the extra cost, nice machine for sure.
Great vids

Lincoln has made this feature years back it's nothing new .
Getting famous off of comments day 223, so I can live the dream, live every day like it’s your last🤙
I have 3 to sell. People around here look at me silly because they are used to only seeing Miller 🙄
andarilho
That machine is bigger than my car....
6k welder, ya ok my Hobart 140 will do
It’s spatter.

HUUUHH 😨😨??? LOL,,,,
