- dartsreviewcha... A review of the soon to be on sale new L-Style Fantom flights. These are a moulded or is it molded? flight with a similar compostie plastic as used on the Condor Axe. They were previously released in Japan earlier this year but then recalled and improved and will soon have a release worldwide. In this video I test them with various stems and have a close look and quick demo of them. Happy Darting! :)

Great video. I've been waiting to see if they updated them. Great presentation of all the different stems. I'm definitely going to give a set a shot. I never thought to use the stands as a dart holder.

Now I only use L1 as the L3 I find make the back of my dart drop. Use on all my darts with harrows carbon 360 short shafts and they look great. I've been waiting for these in green. Such a kick in the pants they're only in L3.. thanks for the great review

Very informative Darren, thanks 😁 I've never used molded/moulded flights, apart from ancient pub darts some time last century, but from memory they were rock-hard and about 5mm thick!!
I'm sensing I need to give these (or one of the similar alternatives) a try.

Good shafts for Lstyle is mission griplock and unicorn gripper3, cheap and fit really well :)

This video gets a 10 of 10 on the "sniff-o-meter".
Still prefer Condor Axes for their channel groove design along the stem.
I believe it really does reduce deflections.

I use L-style carbon silent stems exclusively, but if the flight doesn't go all the way on then there's no point, except maybe the sniffing fun 😝
On the L-Style flights I’ve used previously I had the One80 Vice shafts and they worked the best on them. One80’s have almost a point to the shaft and you can see that it’s completely on the flight
Yeah I thought they would be awkward and not work so well but they seem a great fit :)

I like the transparent flights, but i play k-flex at moment and it works with me. At moment i not will change again my setup. But i will test l-style if my k-flex will be killed 😊 thx again for the infos and one Mode great Video! 😊

I've found that the unicorn gripper 3 are the best stems for l-style flights after the l-style carbon. I'm definitely going to get my hands on some blue ones when they're released.
Nice one, I had some of them out to test but think I knocked them off the table and they rolled somewhere not easy to reach lol
I use clear one with PrismForce Blue short mainly.
Those are definitely compatible.

I have the regular LStyle flights and will try a set of these and definitely will try Condor's as they look the premium set to get. Haven't played in a long time but maybe this will peak my interest again.

For sure I will, couldn't remember the name of the 'Shape' which are like a No.6 standard and ordered the rockets by mistake which don't work for me. Cheers@@DartsReviewChannel

Had these a while now .. with Harrows Carbon 360 stems which I use with L-Style flights .. find that the Fantoms tend to pop off a bit more frequently that the standard plastic L-Style EZ L1 flight I used..

It's getting beyond the joke with all these new systems of stems flights. Kflex condor . I got then both . Not going to buy no more . I just going stick with what I use. But its intreasting that at Least you give a good review. On all . Happy with Harrows . Aluminium tips . On end of stems . Red dragon the same thing. Flights do not fly off . It comes down to personal choice of course we all use different darts and ways . To find a good tune up your happy with . Thanks for the heads up on these
There is new ones from Red Dragon now and some more new ones from another brand to come and my guess more from another brand too lol Its all about finding what you like best really :)

I use these (the old style ones haha). I really like em. They do tear after a while but the ones I'm on now are going on for 6 months. I have Robbin hoodied em a couple of times. But way less than standard flight systems.
How come the pros never seem to get Robbin hoods. 🤔🤔🤔

I don't know what to think about those new L style flights they should at least bring out some new stems that are made for the flights to go all the way down.

As long as they fit on they will, think someone in the comments said he used them with the silent spin stems :)

Got it years ago, had some guy from Japan ask me to sell it to him a few years ago as he said they are rare and were only given to L-Style players, but I thought I lost it, just found it recently :)
Have only used the target 8 flight system would the L style be similar or better quality.
I was not keen on the Target 8 but these new Fantoms could be better, still early days, but many people like the previous L-Style flights and quality is usually very good.

Are these heavier or lighter than the original ez flights?
I couldnt find my original ones to check, will have another look and get back to you if I find them :)
The original EZ flights weigh 0.67g so a lot lighter than the Fantoms

I would destroy these in 2-3 days. I get more life out of normal flights. But when I use normal flights I kill stems. It’s an expensive old game this
I destroy normal flights in no time, my Condor Axe are still going strong after 2 years, jury is still out on the more recent new ones on how long they will last though :)
@@DartsReviewChannel a friend of mine told me about these robson flights and he couldn’t speak highly enough about them so I caved and bought some. They lasted 3 days. I will say my grouping was a lot better and the fly well but they chipped and wings snapped off. I use target storm points the smooth ones so that little edge can’t be the problem. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong
@@marclafferty6416 The Robson flights didnt last as long as some for me, Condor Axe have lasted the longest so far. But could be just the way your darts land in the board and the way the incoming darts make contact, which is why I tell people its all about finding what suits best. Also maybe the thinness of the normal poly flights work best for when such contact takes place in your case. But like anything with darts its worth trying at least once to be sure either way. Condor Axe are great for me for various reasons, poor eyesight means I dont have to fiddle about inserting the flights as its all in one, same reason I dont have to bend down to pick them off the floor saving my dodgy back and knees lol :)

They're all expensive toys that aren't worth it
What do you like then? True they are not cheap but in the case of my set of Condor Axe which are still going well after 2 years if they last that long then they are worth it for me.

I think that’s unfair. Thanks to my condors I’ve never had a Robin Hood or flight drop off. Can’t see myself replacing them anytime soon due to how durable they seem. They are expensive, but there are positives

Nice flights! The normal L-style was too flexible for me, and I had a Robin Hood, but I like this new flight and may try it.
I am currently using the target 8 system.

I think I'll pick this one up on my Japan trip, Fantom looks nice and I already have a few Lstyle stuff laying around.
Unfortunately they don't have the really nice art of the standard ones, I would have loved having the Fantoms with e.g. Mikuru Suzuki & Ryan Searle designs, not to mention the nice anime-themed ones!

Is there any difference to the l1 and l3? I may try them , I prefer condor axe tho 😂
L1 standard L3 shape :)
