It looks a bit too much like lichen, at least to non-novices. But still, first rate and I love it. I really like the way you've spread that village over all te levels, and yet somehow it works to knit everything together. Remarkably, the layout does not seem over crowded. I presume there's a grade from lowest to highest point concealed in the back somewhere....
Graham, I've just seen this in the 'Railway Modeller'. I had to look to see if there was a video of it. I think this is a beautiful and inspring model! The standard of the scenic modeling in such a small space - breathtaking! Thank you! Nigel Beeton

Hello, Thank you for your kind comment. The lower tunnel portals are scratch built made using sanded Wills Coarse Stone sheets and some Wills brick arch (cut out) overlays. The upper station portal (with the railings) is also made with Wills sheet. The upper village portal is made using some Peco N Gauge NB-33 bridge sides raised slightly to allow taller trains and also a raised parapet wall. The layout was exhibited 4 times this year around East Anglia and (so far) has 3 bookings for next year, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Stowmarket.

Wow! That railway coils like the Darjeeling! But very cute modelling. Scenery and buildings match in quality, which one doesn't often see. 👍
