I thank you for taking the time to film and edit....I do have a request. 😀 Its called slowboating video where you literally set up the camera and let it roll....as your cruising and just let us have a 2 hour long video of just the boat traveling the canal. 😀 Watching this kind of video is very nice and calming at work. 😄 its like cruising with you... you might expect this to be a boring video but its not. its actually really nice. 😊
Hi Dennis, I feel the same way. Fortunately it was repainted in two pack by the previous owner which I am told cost a lot of money. It is what attracted me to the boat in the first place.
"Novices", in my opinion, make great videos! Many channels that I have subscribed to become sort of "professionals"...which, for me, takes away from what I like. 🙃 Cheers from Tassie.
You are dead right about there always being something to do on a boat, but that's also part of the fun and experience I guess. As for the van well it is still not sold and I'm getting cabin fever waiting to get out on the cut so hope it won't be long now before it goes. 😕
You will alway have "ventilation" with louvre windows. Great vlogs really interesting on a subject that has so many similar themed channels I think yours has great style. Looking forward to more.

Do you need some ventilation when you light the stove in the winter? I am guessing there will still be some draughts even if you seal the louvre windows.
I do still have some ventilation and the way I’ve mounted the Perspex means I can either cover the window completely or partially. I do have a Carbon Monoxide alarm just in case though.
Hope you don’t have anymore leaks. Good idea to start thinking ahead for the winter when it comes to the windows. Will the moisture he get trapped between the louver windows and the Perspex? Stay dry. 😊 Kathy
It turned out to be a pin hole in the window gasket but it was easy to put right in the end. As for the perspex so far, having tried them in some heavy rain there has been no moisture at all. Happy days.😀

Hi, I guess if we continue to do something we all move on from being a novice but I will always be me and will try hard to always tell it as it is.
That very smart bright red paint job on your boat puts me in mind of a London Bus - Narrowboat Routemaster.
Wow, that brings back memories as a lifetime ago I used to drive Routemasters for a while around London.
