Well is the first time I commented in your channel. I upload a video how to fix a crack tile without replacing on ticktock and I never thought that anyone will care and now it has over 6 thousand view more then the other ones the I upload about my music 😂😂

Those are spot on! I've been looking into this recently and I think you hit all the key points.
I sometimes see that some "product review" style videos can get a lot of views (especially free plugins), but I suppose that falls within a couple of the categories you mentioned. I don't know if those ever go "viral" though, but they often get more views than other videos on some channels. On the other hand, they may have a short shelf-life and they definitely have a lot of competition.
A few popular videos I've seen fall under multiple categories. Shawn Wasabi's HOTTO DOGU video is a great example.

I guess "viral" can mean different things depending on your niche etc. But I was aiming for at least 100.000+ views type videos when I did my research, because to me that is viral in the music maker niche. =)
And yes, I agree, some videos can hit several of these aspects.

    I'll never be viral. Definitely.
    I hope.

We can always dream, and at least follow some "strategies" that will increase our chances. =)

@@mikaelbaggstrom I've nothin against strategies but my point is I don't want to do any of these 7 things, absolutely not.
Consequently I will not play a Beat It cover with a subass kazoo with a flower pot on the head. 😁
Better being a compositeur maudit who plays is own, maybe bad, music than to be viral.

@@FLH3official Haha, sub bass kazoo, that's hilarious lol. Anyway, I guess it depends on the goal. Since I want to become a full time youtuber, then I have to find things that truly work on UA-cam. 100000+ views per video is pretty much the minimum for making full time income from UA-cam, so I have to find out how to get there. Wish me luck! =)

It dont matter what sort of channel you got be it a music, gamming, review channel if you do videos approaching TV edit quality while making mainstream media subservient content then the channel will grow but most of the time you will be totally stuck in that's little space doing the same stuff over and over or having a few viral videos with millions of views next to a wall of videos with a cupple hundred views. Plus most content like you show where some one is using the name of a popular Game, Movie or Music and doing cover all money made from the video goes to the owner of that and not you. Its highly likely you wont earn a single penny if you are not affiliated with the brand your content is based off.

Very good points! And yes I agree that the downside with doing covers of music, or showing game content etc. is that they will earn the money. However, if you get 100.000 views per video, I guess you are not dependent on adsense, because I assume sponsors and brands will approach you. I don't know though, I may be wrong haha. :P

@@mikaelbaggstromIt dont matter where the money is coming from be it adsence or patreon if say Lucas film believes you are profiteering from using there content then they can make a legal claim against you for loss of income. If the company comes to the youtuber and gives them permission to use there content names and other assets then you essentially become like an employee of them and you have to do exactly what they say or loose your channel. A channel called Starwars theory made a great fan made episode of Starwars and Lucas film informed him that all profit from the videos regardless of the source belongs to Lucas films. Another youtuber made music covers of popular music like Dr DRE and add money from those videos goes to the record label and He is not allowed to receive any payment of any kind.
