The scale could be imposing and yet by the excellent design and zoning this place is a home! A place to live and work. Take in the desert environment and living off grid done so well and considerate. I for one , a big fan of concrete and wood combinations and this is one of the best i have seen. What a life style. Thank you for sharing. Appreciated!

I hope your work here in the US will help to change that. When I heard Arizona I was like huh?! A collab with you and Mazzei would be game changer in the US. What feeds this "lake"? Has the water been depleting like all other lakes in the desert? Just curious about longevity of that dock in the back being the main selling point.
that fencing in the front, by the pool, isn't stopping any wind, let alone dust, from blowing through there 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and as far as leaving the exterior doors open... no one in their right mind is doing so in arizona.
You're right it definitely has quite a strong masculinity to the interiors, I found that coldness to be quite a welcome relief from the shear heat of the desert!
Sorry but the house is too industrial/prison feeling. Given the high temperatures in that area the owners will be prisoners to the inside air conditioning.
