Living on your own is great but sometimes in nice to have someone make you a cup of tea or walk the dog.
I was proud of myself for not ordering a single takeaway that week.
I'm very glad you didn't scrap the vlog midway! I feel what I think is a similar push-pull of excitement/happiness at having space mixed with creeping rot when I'm alone and have some time, but I think I get lonelier, and pretty quickly (and also panicked about how I end up spending my precious time...)
Rotting in bed is sometimes needed but the whole weekend was not gonna be ruined.

Love my partner and love when he’s out of town and have the house to myself. That feeling of excitement is so real and I understand having so many expectations for using your time with yourself and things not going quite as planned. A lovely vlog as always, I’m glad you shared it with us :)
I saw Poor Things (movie) first and really liked it. I hope to read the book sometime this year for a comparison.
Still haven’t seen the film Poor Things yet. 😒 I will soon though.

I am the same way. Any time I get time to myself I always make grand plans and pick out a stack of books but then end up bingeing too much television haha so I can relate. I have Poor Things on my shelf and can't wait to get to it now, sounds great!

I have two weeks to myself in our apartment for the first time in a long time. It kind of is nice but also is very strange. I read more which is brilliant. Finished one brilliant book and then started two more which are keeping me up on my toes.
That’s the week I thought I was gonna have. Glad you got some time to yourself.
Immediately felt super giddy at the thought of an entire six nights and seven days all to yourself. I’d be the exact same way and do the exact same things.
