Ya, that’s kind of a closed minded approach to what this series is. The guy is a writer and editor. These are the things that actually get used every day. How often do you use your ferro rod?
Guys, it’s not that deep. I understand where he is coming from, a knife is a great tool and in the worst case scenario a self defense TOOL. A lighter is also pretty useful, but me personally would have it in my car instead of on my person all the time. Maybe ina pouch.
