At 95 degrees ( 35 c.) What the hell are you doing working that hard in that kind of heat without a cold beer ??? Keep that up and you will give us Canadians a bad name dude!!! Just a old dude from Pender Harbour BC 😎🇨🇦❤️ PS. Good day Yvette 🌻
We are trying to find a good replacement beer, but its hard with us moving around so much haha. any ideas for good beer in Colombia? we will be heading there after we are done with Panama :-)
😁😁😁 Just look at that! Now even he got bitten by the pink virus (shoes/clogs and T-shirt). It's said that pink is the colour of heaven (spiritually). Not a bad choice though. 👍👌👏 😁 ;-) Best regards, luck and especially health to both of you.
@@sailing.supernova Dear smiling couple. Thanks for replying and especially for giving a heart to my comment. As you know, I always and totally appreciate both very much. 2) Let's see what I can do. Sincerely yours.
Love the video! on the sink through hole you should put a 45 on the drain end if possible and flex hose to the through hole, youll have to service it less! Keep up the great work guys love the channel!
You’re sailing and handiwork has come so far since you both started and that’s because of teamwork congratulations and in Naval terms Bravo Zulu well done keep up the good work
@@sailing.supernova 👍👌👏😁😁 2) Additionally: Team work is easier if there are only two members of the working crew. In Germany we say t e a m is short for: Toll ein anderer macht's! = Great, someone else will do it. And that's exactly how it goes too often (unfortunately). Sincerely yours.
If Velcro underneath the containers doesn’t work ok, try it down the side of one container to the lid of the next. The underneath Velcro piece will need to be cut at the join. To separate the containers when needed, you would lift the top Velcro half way. I think this might work🤷♀️ Stay cool💦
I am going to admit to being on a watching binge of you guys, as you have been a great inspiration! You are spurring me to move forward with my life travel plans. A question I have for you is when will you have another Q/A would love some questions on how you are making this all work! a quick suggestion which actually comes from my professional work, but that you can see in other sailing channels @WildlingSailing & @SailingUma when you are cutting things to fit, use some cardboard to make a template first that you can use to cut out the shape into the boat. reduces mistakes and measuring headaches in the long run. Also sorry about all the suggestions in all the videos bad habit of being an educator. (ps: EAR protection when using power tool kids! hahahahaha)
You are right we need more ear protection! We are thinking of having another Q&A in the next couple 3 or 4 weeks. If you could comment on our Q&A video from like 8 months ago we are going to take a bunch of questions from that. We should keep some cardboard on board, it would help out so much! Thanks for all the amazing comments :-) and we are really happy that you are enjoying the videos. If we can make this trip happen, you can make your trip happen :-)
Still looking good. Please show us a floor plan of Supernova. Our’s had a very large Head/shower forward in the Port hull and a wet head/shower midship in the Starboard. Port Aft was the tool room, Starboard aft a double cabin. Mid ship we had Queen cabins in both hulls mirror imaged with a kids cabin forward of that. Most Prouts were invoiced as “hulls delivered”, it was a tax thing to save on IVA. The brothers would finish the boat to any level you wished. They would NOT compromise on the hull or rigging.
I think we got a great hull and that's it the finish work was all done outside of the Prout team hahah We are working on a boat tour video, We have changed some things up for super long term sailing and we are getting close to having our floor plan done, we are still in heavy refit mode as we sail around :-)
What a major accomplishment you guys made today with all your little storage yes that you made. You probably don't have access to Velcro they do make a heavy-duty velcro that you would be able to velcro your stuff
The new deep storage cupboard you need slide in boxes and to easily get to the back ones fasten a rope to the front of the box so when you slide it in by pushing in with another box you can easily get at the back one by just pulling it out with the rope other wise down on hands and knees with arm stretched out trying to find it to remove it
I am not a plumber but wouldn't the kitchen sink need an elbow or trap to prevent noxious odor from backing into the kitchen? You answer will also educate me on the process.
The sink pipe runs right out of the hull into the water, if it was going to a tank then it should have something for the smell, but it just goes out of the sink into the ocean, that means we have to watch what we put down the sink :-)
I love how far you guys gotten. Inspiring me to travel the world to.
It was really great meeting you guys. Have a great sail south and I hope to see you both soon again!
Thanks heaps! we really enjoyed hanging out with you at the pool! but it would be so much cooler to see you out in the big blue :-)

Take a break ! It’s Kokanee time❤
❤ from 🇨🇦BC
You know well and good that we have run out of kokanee and now you are just torturing us haha. I wonder if we can find some good beer in Panama :-)
Being organized on a boat is a big deal. Glad you're getting it done.
Happy sailing ⛵️
It sure is! We are trying to get things 100% better before our next sail in a week or two :-)

awww thanks so much :-) There is no doubt in our minds we will :-)
Looks hot, you know you’re heading for the tropics, stay cool, don’t go troppo, take it easy, have safe passage to Panama 💖
its to hot... but better then being to cold thats for sure :-)
Kudos…life is much easier with smart storage and organization.
It is! still have a bit more time to get some more jobs done to :-)
Try Velcro to keep your containers from sliding around. I use the heavy duty stuff on my boat. You can never have to much storage
We will give it a shot! it should be easy.... famous last words haha
What a major accomplishment you guys made today with all your little storage yes that you made. You probably don't have access to Velcro they do make a heavy-duty velcro that you would be able to velcro your stuff
We did get some velcro in town, stand by to see it in use haha
Looking great Yvette! Keep trying to lighten her up for our championship race ;)
haha! i will be tossing everything off the boat before the next big race haha

We will look for some slides, Its so hard to find parts around here!
Well done guys another great episode cheers from Australia
Thanks heaps :-)
What timing with DaVinci Resolve coming out with v19. Some sweet new tools and performance improvements!! 😊
I know right! its such good timing! but its going to be so much to learn to! we are fixing to do a huge video as soon as we learn the new program :-)
