The plug-in is cool but the version of the track without the neutron is better all you had to do was just clip gain down the entire mix and it sounded fine . Maybe izotope should have done an entire mix like you just did before releasing this is cool but I’m not feeling the Ai thing . Only some features are good in my opinion since I’ve started using it I only use it for unmasking and even then on my kick & 808 I rather use soothe 2 for sidechaining or just automate the initial transient of the 808 down and let the kick punch come through
Someone really knows his tools here 😅 I am a big fun of soothe also, really love this plugin. Well if you watched the whole video, at @7:10 I am mentioning that I will not do any volume mixing for the purpose of this video. The AI is good but it gives like 20% of a final result. I wouldn’t trust it to let it mix my tracks without changing things.
that melody mad loud and I can barely hear the drums on the final result the first mix sounded better you just needed to turn up the melodies a bit

Izotope suggests on their website to use Neutron assistance on either the individual tracks or on the Bus channels, not on both.
I don't know if they mention that but at the end of the day is a just a matter of taste IMO. I see no problem on using it on both. For example, I would use it on channels to improve my mixing skills on my drums and on the same Bus to emulate the vibe of another drum loop that I really like. You can still go on 10% wet and not 100%.
What you are describing is “top down mixing”.

I suppose you didn’t watch the whole video. This video is more to show about if the neutron4 can really mix by it’s own without any manual adjustment, which in this case is not able.

No because the visual mixer from neutron 4 “sees” the neutron plugins from every channel. No need for relay.
The after mix 😬 the ai isn’t helping nobody here.
As powerful as neutron is, and as much as I love it, this video didn’t do it justice. The drums vanished, and the bells and other instruments were too loud.
I totally agree with you, in this crash test the Neutron 4 didn't deliver as it should. Melodies were louder and a lot of things needed manual adjustment. I think relying totally on AI at this stage is not possible.

You mean beat and vocals? If yes, then i think you can do but it will not have the best result as it could if you had the stems from the beat
