How did this hold up with the flex primer? I made the mistake of going with a standard high build and I took the bumper off and just handling it caused the paint to crack because it was so flexable. Going to redo it and trying to figure out if I need to go flex additive or just the flex primer. Any help appreciated!
So it actually ended up cracking after the first time the bumpers and skirts took any kind of hit lol. We used the SEM flexible primer but no flex additive for the paint or clear. My buddy painted another KBD kit and used the primer and then Bulldog adhesion promoter and that’s been holding up really well! I’ll be making a new video soon!
@@behradsays yeah... It's a pain in the ass lol learning experience though. Thanks for the info. Did he use the bulldog as a flex additive or just sprayed it as an adhesion promotor? Also nice build man!

Make sure you follow their directions! Also, when you primer the kit, make sure you read the spraying suggestions on the primer can. That’s where I messed up haha

is it absolutely necessary to primer ? i’m getting a wrap and i think i got it sanded down enough and when it’s clean wrap sticks well i don’t want to have to primer

Highly recommend that you get it painted professionally
My buddy that paints professionally painted it, but we didn’t use the flex additive in the paint. I have another kbd kit now and will make a new prep and paint video! Open to any advice!

How long did it take for your body kit to arrive?
I think it wasn’t more than a week or so honestly. Their shipping is pretty fast because it’s just a normal boxed shipment.
Fuck no man, it literally took my kit 46 days to come in smh and I’m 30 mins from where they manufacture the damn things!

knowing polyurethane kits probably a good 7-800 pounds
My kit dropped my car like 30 pounds
