Plagueis was 80 when he met a teenage palps. And tenerbrous was at least middle age when he met Plagueis. Plagueis comments on how much longer Biths and Muuns live than humans.
@cael4065 can we stop with this Canon BS. The only reason why it's not canon is because everything that was Canon Disney decided to make it all Legends and make up their own BS. Tenebrous would be the one around at this time
Qimir is a castoff Acolyte of Tenebrous and Plagueis, who wants to start his own Rule of Two by becoming a "master" without ever having become a Master. You know, like Anakin and Ahsoka...
@@AmongRevenants Eh, not really. I know they can change "canon" of Legends material if they want, but Venamis was a Bith (not a human). I know his birth isn't known, but it's assumed to be "prior to 75 BBY". The Acolyte show happens 100 years before the Phantom Menace, so around 132 BBY. Since going back to check my Legends dates and Sith lineage, I've changed my mind about Qimir. I don't think he's the cast off acolyte of Tenebrous and Plagueis. Tenebrous was born sometime between 247-167 BBY. But there is no Legends or Canon lore as to who Tenebrous' Master was, other than he was a Twi'lek. Wooki places his death between 167-124 BBY, and says that him and Tenebrous caused a hole in the Force that made the Jedi feel the Darkside "for the first time in over 8 centuries after the final battle of the New Sith Wars." If the Acolyte show is in 132 BBY, that's 868 years after the last battle of the New Sith Wars (1000 BBY). But in the show the Jedi have not felt the hole in the Force yet. A side note prediction.... My guess is the canonize the "hole in the Force" as what ends the High Republic Era completely. For it to happen 899 years after the last New Sith War battle, it has to happen by 101 BBY. If they wanted to hardnose canonize it, they'd place the ritual they do at the Twi'lek's death, say 8 years after the Acolyte current season. If Lesly is staying true to the Plagueis novel (which I believe she has mentioned she drew from), and Qimir is over 100 years old, he should either be the Acolyte of Tenebrous and his unnamed Twi'lek Master, or the first apprentice before Tenebrous. Lesly has said there are two Sith we see in season 1, so we'll know in a couple weeks if she is canonizing the Plagueis novel. We already suspect the "unkown planet" is the one mentioned in the Plagueis novel, my guess is Tenebrous (as an apprentice) first discovers the planet (and cortosis ore) when he finds Qimir there in episode 8.
@@BluhmGardens Thanks for laying the timeline and details out like that. Can't wait for the last two to drop. And we know the actor who plays the martin manhunter has yet to make an appearance.
The planet that Qimir is hides out on is the blue moon planet above Brendock! Those two planets align and the red on has rings on it like Saturn. The trailer gives this away with the chase scene flying through the ice ring and you can see both moons in the background! It’s name could still be Bal demnick
His reference to "power of two" is a callback to the chant of the witches of Brendok. It's supposed clue us in that he has knowledge of the witches or some kind of relationship with them. And episode 7 flashes back to Brendok, we know that. Given that there are only two episodes left, there won't be a huge Sith reveal in this show. Qimir may be older than he looks (he said twice with emphasis that he was a Jedi a long time ago)....and he may go by another name we recognize (such as being the canon Plagueis himself), but the only reveal in ep 7 or 8 will be to tie Qimir in with the witches and what really went down on Brendok. That, combined with Osha and Mae deciding what to do once they know the truth, wraps up this whole story. Anything else big, like Qimir having a secret Sith master in the shadows, would be too messy and tangential at this point, even for this scattershot show.
Another possibility for Darth Plagueis is that he himself found a way to extend his life span through his mastery of the dark side. You don’t even have to retcon the whole species. He could know how to extend his life but not make himself truly immortal and it should respect all the lore, I think, but I’m not an ultra nerd to really know lol
The scar on Qimir's back is not linear. It is sort of this curved mark, like it's from a whip. Venestra has a light saber whip. To me, Qimir was a jedi apprenticed to Venestra. Something happened between them, and he was either cast out or left the order. He was then picked up and apprenticed by a sith lord. Call it Plagueis or Tenebrous, whichever...
Qimir now feels very much Darth Maul coded. Once an apprentice of a sith lord, Tenebris, who was discarded. He does say he use to be a jedi, "a long time ago, but people guessing Vernestra is a secret sith r wrong. I do believe the whip marks on qimirs back r from Vernestra but only at a battle where she found out qimir was a dark side apprentice. As for Sol, next episode will show us that in the past the witches possessed kalnaca to unalive the other jedi. Out of pure anger and desperation, Sol turned to the dark side and used lightening force to take out all the withches at one time. The witches unalive released kalnaca from their control. I believe all the characters in this story will die by end. Including Qimir, Sol, mae, and osha. Vernestra will cover it all up. 😎🎯
Nahhh...Vernestra 1000% gave him that scar, she was most likely his former Jedi Master but probably tried killing him once he was showing dark side tendencies or he tried killing her. he says he is very old, i think he is probably 100+ years old because vernestra is also very old. maybe he was in cryo stasis or found a dark side was of keeping youthful and at the the end of the show he and the twins are all sacrificed by Plagusis to discover the way to cheat death & how to create life hence him making anakin later on.
Nah. That's a light saber whip wound, and they even had Vernestra use the whip to accentuate that fact. His master was Vernestra, she discarded him, and that's how Sol knows him.
Abysmal show. Cheap production considering its budget. 1977 -1983 was an exceptional time to experience Star Wars... so incredible nothing has rivaled these epics of cinema history from the SW universe. May the force be with you ❤
Qimir actually being part of the Sith would explain how he knew about the rule of two but what about Yoda in PHM, how did Master Yoda know about Darth Bane and the rule of two? When Yoda goes to the Well Spring of Life he confronts his Dark Side and his dark side tells him (Yoda doesn’t play with me anymore) could Yoda have once left the Jedi to become a Sith only to return? I mean he is 900 years old so anything is possible.
I don’t know whether this is canon but yoda was made aware of the rule of two by a fallen jedi named Kibh Jeen. How long before the events of the TPM or the details of the story I don’t exactly know but in his last moments he uttered,”there are always two sith, no more no less.”
I've been pretty critical of Disney's Star Wars projects, but I gotta say, I'm impressed with the show's attempts to make everything fit. It won't unmake my main problems with the sequel trilogy, but it shows that the care and attention that was lacking in the sequels is at least being addressed.
There is no retcon needed bruh Muun can live for hundreds of years lol.. Also pretty sure you are right about the planet as when hes working on the helmet and talking to Osha you can see a ore vein of Cortosis running up the cave wall behind him
Bro HE IS NOTHING LIKE MAUL , COMPARED TO THE STRANGER, maul is a "blunt instrament" maul would never have thought to fight use cortossis (what were tenebrous & plaugeis mining on baldemnic?) Or think up that saber
Have a feeling that maybe Qimir is gonna be just the former apprentice of Vernestra ,that fell under the influence of an ancient Sith Lord ( Qimir is now a Sith Lord himself btw they confirmed it in interviews ) maybe this sith is from the old republic era or before that possessed a Young Qimir through the Cortosis helmet that’s why he said what he said knowing Osha would try it on and be influenced by it too? That’s my guess anyway
Qimir back scars are from a whip. Possibly a lightsaber whip like the one Vernestra Rwoh has. Probably the reason why they showed both on the same episode. Qimir said in the episode that he’s also a discarded apprentice. I don’t think the master is Plagueis. I believe it’s a fallen Jedi story and Qimir will become the founder of the knights of Ren. He is not and will never become a Sith.
Weird how when a show actually does the things star wars fans have been asking for, fans still don't like it. What was the last star wars release u actually thought was good?
@mycelia_ow people have been asking for more brutal deaths, more stuff from legends, a show focused on the dark side, new eras and characters we haven't seen onscreen etc. I've been seeing ppl ask for all this and more basically since the sequels. Disney obviously has to be told what to do, but they've obviously been listening to fan suggestions. Every show demonstrates it clearly, little by little, that they're taking fan suggestions to heart. Even if the shows themselves aren't coming out great overall Honestly I think ahsoka was a way worse show. Like, the most mid show anyome could make. Both plots are pretty contrived, but the acolyte at least has direct links to the main storyline. Ahsoka justifies itself entirely on references to old characters and mainly relies on Hayden's appearance to keep ppl interested. It reminded me of the animated shows, but translated over to live action. It was fine. Not as bad as kenobi or Boba fett. But like I said, very mid imo But even that show intentionally did a bunch of very specific things fans have been asking for for years. Live action clone wars, actual dismemberment, brought various animated characters into live action, etc. They've been doing all types of stuff like that. Gradually little by little, every show is doing it. Mandalorian s 1 was lightning in a bottle. It was a good season with like zero fan service or old references. S2 was nice but they started referencing old filoni characyers and fans loved in. They tried to do it again w boba fett kinda but it didnt work. In kenobi they took SOME suggestions w the fan service, like bringing in old actors and giving them flashbacks. Andor was the one exception that not only included ZERO fan service but was also the best star wars show out of all of them. Ahsoka relied on it a little bit, but its also partly bc its basically rebels s5, and most of the references are just to rebels and clone wars. At least in the acolyte there's actually been direct reasons to include most of the references in the plot other than just "remember this?". Even very subtle lines of dialogue that reference the movies but w an ironic twist out on by the shows context. The shows actually doing a lot of good stuff. The editing, dialogue, acting, etc. Are all weaknesses. But it also strikes me as being very reminiscent of th prequel movies in those aspects lol. Even osha has kinda started stiffening up as she's been hanging out w the jedi more
I hope it isn't Plagueis, it's too early. I also hope it's not Tenebrous since he basically ordered the birth of Plagueis and the fact he had a backup apprentice too.
If Plagueis is, or was, Qimir's master that could explain his comment that hints that he's far older than he looks. We know that Plagueis learned how to cheat death. So maybe he experienced on Qimir, and was able to extend his life. The scar on the back could be from that.
It's a good show. Only anti-woke naysayers say that it's bad. It has a mysterious and compelling story and fantastic action; it's no where nearly as bad as certain people are saying that it is.
@@SaintFort - no, much of the criticism has been the writing, acting and how they’ve laid out the storyline. Ep 4 & 6 were all dialogue with zero action while ep 5 was beginning to end action. I think it was ep 2 where they have Mae pretend to be her sister to get information out of Qimir-they didn’t know who he was and should’ve attempted to use the force to get their answers like Sol did with the escaped prisoner but that would’ve obviously messed things up. Mae was on a quest and completely abandoned it after learning about her sister-then completely abandoned her sister. The episode 5 action sequence was poorly done-Qimir is fighting several at a time while Jecki and Sol were MIA after Qimir used the force yet they appeared unharmed in their scenes but they should’ve all been in the same vicinity. Yord follows his orders to take Mae to the ship-he takes her but so far and then flips because Mae says he (Qimir) will kill everyone…. as if Yord didn’t have recent personal experience fighting him. Qimir has Sol beaten but disappears rather than finishing him. Sol appears to have Qimir beaten but let’s up because it’s not the Jedi way according to Mae but then Mae attempted to use the bugs to kill Qimir. Venestra is the weakest nepo hire actress in this show and that certainly isn’t helping while killing off their best in Indara. Perhaps something in the next couple of episodes will shine more light on what actually happened when Mae/Osha’s whole family and covenant were killed-I assume there’s more because it hasn’t lived up to the billing of regret. Man I could keep going on but this is already way too much for yt comment section!
Darth Plagueis was 115 years when he died in episode one. That means he was 15 years during during The Acolyte. And sith doesnt train children. So, Plagueis can't be the sith master, only Tenebrous can be the Sith Master at this time.
Dude, that scar on his back looks awfully like a light whip made it. I'm calling green jedi woman who can't act is the Sith master who dumped Darth Slipknot.
Look at Imri Cantaros...he was Vernestra's Padawan, was a Genetia, and had very strong force Empathy. Imri was also known to use the dark side to win fights back when he was a Jedi. I don't think Qimir has a Master. I think Vernestra was his teacher, and now HE wants to be a Master with a Acolyte or Acolytes. I am not against the idea of him being the first Knight of Ren. I wish that they would have done more with the Knights of Ren in episodes 7, 8 and 9.
Is just a scar from his old master (The olive jedi) people thinking some complex theories about a show with the writing quality of a B MOVIE is just amazing.
I legit am expecting it to end with Plageuis and Tenebrous to turn up like a couple of horror movie slasher characters ala Darth Vader Rogue 1 scene on the surviving Jedi who have an idea of what's coming for them and that Sol, Osha, Mae and Qimir are either gonna survive or be hunted down one by one so that at least one of them can escape.
Qimir went public which is a problem. Plagueis could be the apprentice still, just cleaning up the mess of a Renegade acolyte, failed assassin, or rival
I think Qimir is an apprentice. I have heard talk of David Harewood coming in to play Darth Plaqueis. I can see it. It will be rare to see the Master. He will make cameos. I believe Qimir will be cast aside and will start the Knights of Ren.
I think Tenebrous was Qimir’s master, but Plaguies did say that he was over 100 years old when he was training Palpatine, so he would be alive during this time.
I would put there Darth Tenebrous as really badass Sith, monstrous and young Plagueis as the new apprentice hunting the pretender and loose Link. The true Sith Master wants Qimir or Kaimir dead, if he was his apprentice.
If this is 100 years, it could be that tenebrous was the master and plaiguis literally has becone the bew apprentice, giving him plenty of time to study under him before killing him and finding palpatine as a young man. I think we could see both, with Tenebrous and Plagueis early in their relationship as master and apprentice. Or, if we only see Plagueis, it could be that he is a young, new apprentice sent to kill his predecessor to prove he is strong enough to deserve his place in the sith, much like when he discovered venemous after tenebrous's death, revealing the existence of at least one contingency apprentice. Qimir may have been a contengincy while Tenebrous waited for Damask to come of age and determine his potential strength in the force, since he made a deal with Damasks mother. When Damask was old enough to be taken in, and his potential was determined, Qimir was no longer needed, or possibly got demoted to assassin and wants to prove he can become strong enough to overthrow both and become the new master.

Plaeguis would only be 15 at this point, so it is most likely to be tenebrous. The planet is also most likely Bal Demnic based on the cortosis vein. Which is where Plaeguis kills his master tenebrous so hopefully we will see tenebrous
Its either Plagues or Tenebrous that discarded Qimir I don't care which but I think its cool. Tenebrous had 2 venomous which was a test for Plagues so we will see
Just today I’m starting to suspect Sol as a secret Sith Lord. Impossible? The hints suggest it but the hints could also be a distraction 🤷🏻♂️ I still feel the twins idea was a bad idea and almost anything else would’ve been better
Unless one of the witches is Plagueis, or whatever Sith Lord, then the whole coven of witches storyline was completely unnecessary, it could have been covered just as well with a 30 second flashback. So they were definitely unnecessary.

@@AmongRevenants sorry about the long reply, was working through it as I typed. 🤣
@@BluhmGardens Thanks for laying the timeline and details out like that.
Can't wait for the last two to drop. And we know the actor who plays the martin manhunter has yet to make an appearance.
It could also be Venamis, he had six apprentices, Plageuis killed 3 and the other 3 had different fates.
Exactly
I vote Venamis, mainly because Plagueis amd Palpatine later used him to experiment on, for decades
the wound looks like a whip wound, and we did see a lightwhip in this episode ... chekovs gun ?
Chekov’s whip
Scar on his back looks like a Light Saber whip
Everyone says that scar looks like a light whip scar, but imo I think its a force lighting scar from a powerful sith.
You know, for Legends being not Canon they seem to be using Legends lore quite abit
Its source material the same way the MCU draws from the comics
Which means he could be imri which is quite similar to Qimir
the Green Jedi lady with the whip is his old master
I thought that Palpatine’s distorted face from the lightning during the fight with Windu was Pop polo sibly be over 100 years old or more,
We still haven’t seen Qimir’s face. He introduced himself in a mask, and he had another underneath.
Abysmal show. Cheap production considering its budget.
1977 -1983 was an exceptional time to experience Star Wars... so incredible nothing has rivaled these epics of cinema history from the SW universe.
May the force be with you ❤
The power of 2 pulling on the thread... oh, I can't wait for this bad reveal.
The scar looks like it came from a whip
Those scars on his back resemble what you’d imagine would come from a whip… and who just demonstrated their lightsaber whip in this episode?
Look out, I'm getting some JarJar vibes from the green Skittle.
Darth Jar Jar controlls everything
The power of maaaaanyyyyyyyyyy!!! 😂
The planet is Achto ....watch for the little clues like the elephant like species that were on the planet in The Last Jedi...
Also pretty sure you are right about the planet as when hes working on the helmet and talking to Osha you can see a ore vein of Cortosis running up the cave wall behind him
I think Qimir is a retcon version of Darth Venamis, the secret second apprentice of Darth Tenebrous and Plagueis’ rival, hence his tease.
The show runners have already confirmed he is or was an actual Sith Lord. And that we will see two Sith Lords this season.
He said the JEDI threw him away. He was a former jedi, not sith. That's the whole point.. that the same thing that happened to him happened to osha.
But then apprenticed to Tenebrous. And discarded by him in favor of Plagueis or by Plagueis when he killed Tenebrous on that planet.
@@charliedulin that's not part of the show yet. if that becomes true we have yet to see, but it's not right now
having this show actually have Canon moments feels a bit like the Holiday Special having key importance.
Weird how when a show actually does the things star wars fans have been asking for, fans still don't like it. What was the last star wars release u actually thought was good?
@@cloudmaster182 Ahsoka, but besides that wym actually doing things we want? Name one thing.
@@cloudmaster182 Star wars on the CW level quality. Just asking for coherent storytelling with purpose. This show is awful.
@topmoo dude it's literally prequel level lol. Like, at its best and at it's worst, there's not much deviation
Even if the shows themselves aren't coming out great overall
Honestly I think ahsoka was a way worse show. But like I said, very mid imo
But even that show intentionally did a bunch of very specific things fans have been asking for for years.
The power of one, the power of two, the power of maaannyy.
I think those scars on thirst trap look like whip lashes, and I think the island is the place where Tenebrous and Plagueis were once in the comics.
If Plagueis is, or was, Qimir's master that could explain his comment that hints that he's far older than he looks. We know that Plagueis learned how to cheat death. So maybe he experienced on Qimir, and was able to extend his life. The scar on the back could be from that.
How can anyone take this show seriously at all?
Yeah it's a bad show but to each their own someone likes it although I find it difficult to understand
Darth Plagueis was 115 years when he died in episode one. That means he was 15 years during during The Acolyte. And sith doesnt train children. So, Plagueis can't be the sith master, only Tenebrous can be the Sith Master at this time.
Darth Zanna and Darth Maul where childeren when they started training as Sith, so you are wrong about that.
Qimir literally says he was once a Jedi in the episode. Did you miss that?
The power of Manny Jacinto!
The scars can from Vernestras, also he was obviously trained as a Sith after but it is nothing of interest at this point.
I think it was a Jedi that gave Qimir the scars. And that Jedi is Vernestra Rhow and her whipsaber.
I think Tenebrous was Qimir’s master, but Plaguies did say that he was over 100 years old when he was training Palpatine, so he would be alive during this time.
I can't wait to see Source Wall in live-action one day.
nothing form the acolyte can be made canon because acolyte itself isnt canon))))
Here’s another good point….no-one cares after this mess.
"LAZY booking!" - Jim Cornette
It could also be Tenebrous or his master the unknown Twi'lek Sith Lord that trained him
Yeah I hope we get to see Tenebrous kill everyone at the end of the show
"Thou goest to women? Do not forget the wip!" Nietzsche invented the double contradiction by accident.
Thusfore the Soviets never made a serious attemt to ride on dinosaurs. Surprisingly the opp opp opp ups
Oh I figured the scar was from Venestra’s whip
Plaeguis would only be 15 at this point, so it is most likely to be tenebrous. The planet is also most likely Bal Demnic based on the cortosis vein. Which is where Plaeguis kills his master tenebrous so hopefully we will see tenebrous
Its either Plagues or Tenebrous that discarded Qimir I don't care which but I think its cool. Tenebrous had 2 venomous which was a test for Plagues so we will see
The only way to fix this series would be if Darth plagueis appears at the end of episode 7 and kills everyone in episode 8
Yeah or Darth Tenebrous himself
Just today I’m starting to suspect Sol as a secret Sith Lord. Impossible? The hints suggest it but the hints could also be a distraction 🤷🏻♂️ I still feel the twins idea was a bad idea and almost anything else would’ve been better
His scar looks like a laser whip... I Wonder if his former jedi master was venestra
The scar is from a whip. Who do we know with a whip light saber?😎
It’s seems that the rule of two of darth bane is famous for the power of two
the rule of two is literally killing the apprentice if he is not worth
Unless one of the witches is Plagueis, or whatever Sith Lord, then the whole coven of witches storyline was completely unnecessary, it could have been covered just as well with a 30 second flashback. So they were definitely unnecessary.
The green lady is the Sith master.
Yep. I am thinking Baldemic (spelling?). Qimir is becoming more interesting the more I learn about legend material. I am a Star Wars fan for sure, but mainly, I am into the movies first and the shows. I never really got into the written side of it for some reason....
Those look like scars from a whip….
One problem; Plageuis has no respect for former Jedi that become Sith. He in fact is rather disgusted by the mere thought of it
Tenebrous more likely was Qimir’s master and he was discarded for Plagueis.
Nah, it's not Plagueis. Plagueis is his rival. In Lore, Tenebrous had two apprentices, Plagueis and... another, forgot the name. That was rejected. This might be him.
Venamis?
Venamis is a Bith. Qimir is not Venamis.
HOLD UP, THE ACCOLYTE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE BACK.
the planet looks almost the same as baldemnic from the novel
I love that Karma hired all those interns at the beginning of 2023. It's been great to see.

Since when does anything matter to Disney
@@timmcclymont3527 Idk 😂, just wanted to mention it, since he said it's 100 years before TPM. I'm also not on board with how Disney does the show and found it to be super boring so far.
Maybe palpatine is older than we think after learning how to cheat death, just like Qimir if they had the same master - and when he gets hit with his lightning in RotS it shows how old he truly is
@@SenfMustard He is not old but corrupted. Dark side corrupts. You may mask your appearance with dark side and alchemy. So lightning broke "Spell" and maybe disfigured him even more, so he became all wrinkled and scared. By the way it is Disney Canon and Palps was hiding his "True" face in Rebels. Also it was in Legends, where only several people saw his real face and all posters had him depicted as normal human.

There was no mention that he could be Darth Venamis? Use of poison... trained by Tenebrous.
And in thge Strangers lair... you see an actual Cortosis vein. It's definitely Bal'demnic.
we want that to be true but unfortunally the reality is that this new series spits on the star wars " Lucas " lore even Ki Adi Mundi wasnt supposed to be alive, and the jedi council on the PM movie told that there wasnt siths in 1000 years..... so yep it was vernestra that gave him the scar and they will switch the dark and light side make mae light and osha the acolyte ......
