    If someone grabs your hair from behind first thing your gonna do is not panic I know likely you would but in this case that’s not gonna help, your going to hold your hair just above the hand and between your roots your gonna launch yourself forward by launch yourself forward I mean your going to throw your shoulders straight down bend your knees tuck in your neck and try running while falling forward and then your gonna throw your head back and try and head but them in the stomach. Scenario number two, if you launch yourself forward too much and end up laying on the ground your gonna spin round grab the person by the ankles (the heel of the shoe) and JUMP straight up. Remember it all depends on any weapons used and size. (Also btw if they grab you by the roots of your hair your gonna put you hand on their hand and force it down back so it stays on your head. This won’t work if the persons really strong tho!)

    • @VanquishSelfDefense
      @VanquishSelfDefense  Рік тому +1

      I appreciate the input, but that is not great advice. You don't want to put yourself in either one of those situations and because they have the choice to let go of your hair or control you down to the ground you're going to have very low chances of either of those working

      @@VanquishSelfDefense Ah I appreciate the response! What I mean by dropping to the floor is it’s much better for you to try do that first instead of them as you’ll get a much more of a shock if they try do that first. If you don’t hold onto your hair (depending on size) they could actually swing you into a wall which results in more injuries. I think it’s safe to say both cases do actually give advice as long as the size and any weapons are equal which in often cases they aren’t. Thanks for responding

Usually anytime somebody is pulling your hair you want to get closer to them to relieve the pressure to get your hair free or to get your head or body in the position you want. Then it is a fight from there. Try to choke them unconcious if you can not get away, learn some jiu jitsu and mma to be prepared.

    Bro sorry but that ain't happening and you know it better than anybody else, because you are someone experienced in this realm, you just know this aint happening, specially if the dude is bigger and taller. You realise one thing in common in self defense videos for women. The attacker is simply a NPC that stands still, what in the actual F*? It kinda like irl the bad guy will tell her "OK i grabbed your hair, i'll give u 2 seconds for your next move, go ahead" Nah that aint happening. We could argue if both that women and men are the same size and weight, but if a women is being attacked by a heavier and taller guy it's pretty much like a lion attacking someone, it's just irrelevant, the techniques, the speed, it's all irrelevant, female self defense is running, pepper spray or handgun.

      This is a very slowed down technique just to show the steps, and if you do not realize that you slow down techniques while you learn them, then you have most likely never trained jiu jitsu, self defense, kickboxing or anything else. This is not meant to be a real like enactment, more so just showing her steps to 1 option of escape. And technique can beat power, that is why there are countless stories of women who have fought off a man. I agree pepper spray avoidance and handguns are the best defense... I even say that on my channel. But if those are the only things you know and rely one, you are pretty screwed in an attack where your weapon fails, or you do not have it etc. That is why people should learn all the forms of self defense

      There's no "right technique" in 90% of scenarios there are multiple techniques that have a possibility of working. This is one of about 40 things you could do in this scenario. None of them are necessarily right but they all have a possibility of working. Some higher than others what does depends on the situation that's why people need to train consistently

      @@VanquishSelfDefense men are bigger and stronger than women the best self defense for women is running

    • @VanquishSelfDefense
      @VanquishSelfDefense  Рік тому +1

      I agree that men are bigger and stronger. And I agree that evasion is the best self-defense, for anyone. But that is not always an option, when somebody has a hold of you you cannot run away. So should a woman just think, I can't run away so I could lay down and die? No. Many women fight their attackers off, there are countless stories of it. If you put a man and a woman of the same size and same skill level in a ring, the man will win 99.9% of the time. But when you take an untrained Man versus a trained woman it is a completely different story. Most men have no clue how to fight and once somebody puts up a good fight, many time they will back down. Plus it doesn't take very much strength to choke a person unconscious if you know what you're doing. A child can choke on an adult if the adult doesn't know how to defend it correctly. There are a lot of variables. But it is very stupid to teach somebody that their only Escape is to run away because when that's not an option they should always be a plan B.
