Great guide -- I think a good follow on could be compressing PDFs to shrink file sizes. There are some great apps and sites for this.

Kevin Stratvert I love PDF Toolkit+ for Mac. Have used it for years for compression, splitting, and concatenating.
That said, there are some online sites too for those who don’t care for security.
