  • "Grapplers - No Gi No Money” The Documentary is an exploration of ambition, struggle, and triumph.
The Professional Grappling Federation (PGF) unveils its latest documentary, "Grapplers". It offers an intimate look into the world of competitive jiu-jitsu. This groundbreaking film chronicles Season 5 of the PGF, showcasing the personal and professional journeys of its athletes and the visionary leaders behind the league.
    *A New Era for Jiu-Jitsu*
The PGF stands out in the martial arts world for its innovative approach to competition, blending traditional jiu-jitsu with a unique structure that highlights athlete stories and strategic gameplay, and unique fan engagement. "Grapplers" delves into the creation of the PGF, focusing on its founders, Brandon and Keelan, who envisioned a platform that not only elevates the sport but also provides a stage for grapplers to showcase their dedication and skill.
*The Heart of the Documentary: Athlete Stories*
At the core of the documentary are the compelling narratives of the athletes, including Elijah Carlton, Travis Thomas, and Nekiaya Jackson. Their stories of rivalry, ambition, and inspiration illustrate the emotional highs and lows of competitive sports. Elijah Carlton emerges as the formidable competitor with a reputation to maintain, while Travis Thomas's journey is one of relentless pursuit of greatness. Nekiaya Jackson's transition from Champion to coach and back to champion offers a powerful narrative of overcoming obstacles and breaking barriers in the sport.
    *Challenges, Triumphs, and the Future*
The documentary captures the essence of the PGF through its pivotal moments-from the anticipation of draft day to the climax of the playoff matches. It highlights the significant investment by Zoltan Bathory, which promises to propel the PGF into a new realm of global recognition and success.
"Grapplers" is more than just a sports documentary. It's a story about the spirit of competition, the passion for jiu-jitsu, and the community that it builds. As the PGF looks to the future, the documentary closes on a note of anticipation, hinting at the league's potential to redefine the sport for generations to come.

BMac, congratulations on your success my brother. I remember having a conversation with you years back in Austin while you were commentating at the Onnit Invitationals. We were talking and listening to classic rock and you brought up some of your ideas. It's amazing what you've created. 👐🏽P4L

The future of grappling is in the ufc. People want to see hands more than anything. Grappling is awesome. But look at paul Craig, a devastating grappler who will continue to lose until he finds his hands. It's the combination of fighting skills. That's what people want. That's what's made ufc #1

I like that the athletes are getting paid and that its growing the sport. Its a great martial art and sport, and this looks like a top notch promotion. However no amount of theatrics will ever make jiu jitsu a spectator sport.

UA-cam, I'm gonna make a comment. Grappling is not like you to see, these guys need to watch what they do in the ring. Have a cost on their job and reliably hood. Just like gotta Ryan, he needs to watch what he does in the ring. The way he submits people or gets arrogant and hockey. This is a good organization G2 jujitsu. Again, this is not UFC there's no punching in this organization, and people still still could take things in a different direction mentally, so what would you do and have nothing against the way people treat people support, keep it that way professional. But people think I'm in a process. And they don't have no idea what I'm talking about. But i'm not trying to judge so try not to judge me

The SPORT of HUG WRESTLING,,what a ridiculous style....but as a SPORT,,,with rules ,and in a CONTROLLED environment,,it works there,,,,but only there, definitely not in the streets......

    • @brandonmcninja

      Let’s test your theory

    • @nofilter.906
      @nofilter.906 4 місяці тому

@@brandonmcninja theory??... I've seen grapplers lose many times in fights,,I've beaten grapplers a few times meself, it's a very ineffective style in REAL WORLD SITUATIONS, as in actual fights you have in the street...,,grapplers REQUIRE, bjj fighters,WHATEVER NAME THAT STYLE GOES BY,,REQUIRES a CONTROLLED environment, as in,,,the individual NEEDS to be warmed up,,,stretched out,LOOSE clothing,SOFT MATS,shoes off,,jeeze!! All types of NEEDS that have to happen in order to fight...
In real life fights you dont have those special requirements that grapplers need,,,,in real life fights JUST HAPPEN ,WITH NO NOTICE...in reality you've got your keys in your pocket, your phone in your pocket, you just ate a big meal, your stuffed,,summer timeground is scorching hot,,I can go on and on how grappling in a street fight is a very ineffective style...I've had a guy try to choke me out, held both his arms ( remember your not wearing gloves,so getting your fingers in to loosen the grip isnt that hard,)
And I rammed him into a wall, just enough for his head to drop down closer to my head, then i reached back and stuck my thumb
In his eye ( did you forget there are no rules in street fighting, oh yeah!! Eye gouging, fish hooks, neck chops,ALL ACTION IS A GO!!)
so my point is.....just because you know how to beat your FRIEND or inexperienced fighters while SPARING on soft mats, doesnt guarantee it will work against an experienced fighter...
