i think a good mechanic would be that the more loyal a province is the more "scouting ability" they have. so the FOW clears up alot. not the entire state but maybe like a quarter or something
I would recommend building more factories, not just buying them from the department. This will let you build more supply wagons, ammo and guns while not being as expensive
Please show any off screen in-depth decisions, building & infrastructure decisions, and the off screen battles etc. im learning watching your play through lol
Maybe they should have different formations to defend against cavalry, for example kneel with bayonets presented, or square formation, where the charging cavalry get a debuff, versus catching infantry in line. I've read about cavalry charges against infantry in line and it turns into a massacre for the infantry. So cavalry being presented as strong is probably accurate, but there needs to be different infantry stances to balance it out. It might make the gameplay more interesting too and combined arms more viable.
Im fairly certain the total ammo amount youre seeing, includes what the troops have on hand, not just whats in your cities. You need supply wagons to increase speeds that connected towns get supplies to one another. For ships, having textiles on hand increases the speed that they repair at, so ensure you always maintain some in stock. I'm really enjoying the playthrough!
How do you keep winning battles win low or no ammunition? I think it's funny but not very immersive. Either way, love watching these, learn quite a bit.
@@dflatt1783 the game is not finished don’t get me wrong it has its fair share of bugs but I’d say the worst thing about the game currently is that the AI is just too aware, it reacts pretty much immediately if you try and do a big brain tactical move, you just have to micro hardcore during a field battle, can’t just let your militia stand there and go toe to toe with British regulars without using the hold mechanic like Jackie does, and it’s a sandbox game so you’re going to run into different problems/bugs trying different strategies, long story short the most effective way to play is to use cheese strats but you can absolutely play without cheesing the game and still find success just takes reloading a save or two
no the whole point of my of our argument is the British Ai is utterly terrible u just said it acts to immediate its the british they should be outmatching them in! thats not wat im talkin about im talkin about how shit the british ai is standing in clusters letting them get shot not standing in a straight line all scoutted around @@evanhalloway7998

Whenever I go to engage that invasion fleet the British navy just sails right out mine suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch bullshit.hours of work for nothing
Civilian muskets are not full automatic?
Stop pulling units out of flanks to fight it just makes the ai priority to be take the easy settlement
Sounds like the game is broke.
i mean the ai is horrific takes no skill ngl
When he said you have to 'cannister your own units' I lost any desire to play.
@@dflatt1783you absolutely don’t need to canister your own men, Jackie is just not smart enough to draw an effective battle line unfortunately
@@evanhalloway7998 So the game isn't broken then? Thank you. Have my eye on this one for sure.
