The simple and daily routine calms me down and gives me joy.
Cooking and baking make me feel creative and I often wonder which of the recipes I prepare I could share with you 🫶
So today I'm cooking stuffed vegetables in their Greek version "Gemista" and for dessert I'm experimenting with something I've never made or eaten, Cherry Clafoutis 🍒
A French dessert whose preparation takes me on a mental journey to beautiful France.

Recipes
Stuffed veggies - Greek gemista 🍅🫑
3 tomatoes
3 peppers
6 tbsp Rice
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
mint and parsley
1 onion
1 grated zucchini
3 tbsp pine nuts
3 tbsp raisins
2 potatoes
½ cup Olive oil
Salt and pepper
Cherry Clafoutis 🍒
500g cherries
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp sugar (for the cherries)
1 3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs and 1 egg yolk
1 tbsp unsalted butter (for the pan)
Powdered sugar for garnish

So many pretty plants!! Can’t say I like cherries but all still looks good!! The food looks so so nice and like how the different ingredients have different camera angles a ! The kitty’s are AFRAID look at them, gonna see if world ifs v random a kitty!

clafoutis is perfect in summer when cherries are in season although here in Finland they are still quite expensive. thank you for sharing this beautiful summer day 😊

I love summer fruits too and cherries are one of my favorites along with blueberries and nectarines. I also have a sweet tooth and bake every second day but for my family. I allow myself a fudge or two daily at the moment. It's a keto fudge.I like cooking and baking. Like you I don't like ironing and its the only job i don't like doing. I was looking forward to my son leaving school years ago so i didn't have to iron anymore. Now i only iron in the summer as in the winter i can wear jackets and it doesn't show.
It seems there are many of us who don't like ironing 😉

As I know the dialogues and the stories I don't need to watch, the sound is enough for me.🤣 My favorite dessert is the "crème brûlée" and I also like all the desserts where there are raspberries. I am very greedy and I like all the desserts.😅 In Switzerland, we do stuffed vegetables with beef but I really want to try it with rice.
