Hi I have an cruising for 25+ years and I've taken 35 cruises and I absolutely loved your video I don't think there was one thing that you showed that you take on a cruise that I have not packed myself and after years of finding out what I left at home absolutely great idea nothing that you said I haven't seen before that I haven't taken myself but it was a fabulous video I think you should be the number one top of the list for anybody that cruises it's always better to be safe than sorry on my first cruise ever I forgot my toothbrush it cost me $6 I was freaked out because I normally buy my toothbrushes at the dollar store like you do Dollar Tree is my best shopping buddy and also in Southern California at the $0.99 only store is my other buddy I go there weekly for all my specialties and I also love all the stuff that you have that you can buy at the dollar stores...fabulous video Ren

I just got back from my cruise last week. Your tips were very helpful. I was so prepared my family was impressed. Packing the plug-in was not extra... I loved that when we came back to our cabin everyday it smelled fresh and airy. Cant wait for our next cruise.
I'm the same when it comes to packing, especially for cruises. I will make a list and revise it at least ten times before the cruise. I'll spend weeks debating with myself over which bag is best to take. I love traveling, especially the preparation process.

I like the plastic flip-flops from Old Navy ... those don't hurt my toes (I have these finicky feet that most footwear causes them pain and blisters) and they are inexpensive.

I just went on MSC Seaside last week and they confiscated my little power strip I bought at dollar tree and it did not have a surge protector on it, and they said I could have taken my flat iron go figure! Great video thanks for all you do 🍂🍁
Just returned from my first cruise and I overpacked but yet forgot items like sunscreen, a large coffee mug and a small backpack for excursions. For my next cruise I won’t pack uncomfortable shoes, a lot of makeup like contour, different shades of lipgloss and uncomfortable clothes no matter how cute they are. I love cruising and would tell anyone to go even if you travel solo.

Great tips! I have one suggestion that is to adjust your camera so that we can see the bag that you are pulling stuff out of. Maybe put it on a table in front of you like CTTV does.
I ended up calling the Cruise Line and was told that they do allow, but if found to be left on in the room will be taken and returned at the end of the cruise. Thanks for responding!
Lol, you sound like me, you bring everything except the kitchen sink to be prepared. BTW DEET is so toxic, tea tree oil works well. great tips I will have to watch the cruise ship tv. I never heard of them.
Hey! I like to bring a foundation palette with more than 1 color because I always tan on vacation. I pack the graftobian 5 pan cream foundation palette. But for daily wear something like it cosmetics cc cream because it had spf 50, or I like cover fx powder foundation with spf because it's easy

Pack an outlet converter plug. Many electronics are dual voltage and you can utilize a Euro outlet to power your laptop/Phone charger/etc, but CHECK THE LABEL FIRST.
I always watch cruise vids as it might have something i didnt think of ..but in the 5yrs ive been doing it..ive never forgotten anything and not taken too much either.. I do the pack 3 times and scale down each time rght up to the night b4.. Im not into taking a whole heap of medicines..just my scripts of which i have 3..some bandaides and quells for seasickness..However even theyre just a precausion as i havent been seasick ever.. Ive notices americans love all their tabs and tummy stuff ect.... each to their own i guess.. :) Oh that tip you gave about leaving your passport on the ship and carrying copies is correct.. No one is going to steal a copy lol..
Update : new cruise ship cards with RFID protection can’t be hole punched, so be sure to get a lanyard with plastic pouch attached. Great info. Thank you!

Does the paper copy of ur passport actually work, in case ur stuck in a port outside the US and need to get back? Sounds iffy to me....isn't that why they recommend u bring ur passport with u, otherwise they would recommend just ur birth cert (allowed, but a passport is recommended)

You can also get the foldable rain coats, packing cubes, foldable duffel bag and foldable backpacks at IKEA as well :-)

REMINDER: You are not allowed to take food (i.e. from the buffet) off the boat on port for snacking. Bring prepackaged stuff instead.

Order a sandwich from room service the night before and bring that as yr lunch next day. You'll need ice and an insulated bag.

That surge protector isnt allowed on any ships, it has a button they dont allow
Power strips are allowed though, not surge protectors
