Freeze dried pears are great. The first time I did nice ripe, Comice pears I was very surprised at how little structure they had and how sweet they were. Pear cotton candy. The Bosc had more structure to them.
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all your hard work in sharing your wisdom. I am on batch number 52 and have learned so much from you. I use your advice and weigh every batch so that I feel very confident in knowing that my food is completely dry. I often binge watch your channel. I recently rewatched your video on fat. I had watched it some time ago but couldn’t remember (I’m 72 years old and my memory isn’t what it used to be). I feed my dogs a raw meat diet and wanted to freeze dry their food. Since I couldn’t remember what you said about fat I spent hours painstakingly removing as much visible fat as I could ( as other UA-camrs insisted was the only way to safety do it). Finding that video will save me time and stress. I thank you for all you do. You are amazing and a blessing ❤

(I had not because I don't have any pets) First thing I did after reading your comment was to go to Amazon and search for "freeze dried meat for dogs" and this was the first thing I saw - Open Farm Freeze Dried Raw Patties for Dogs amzn.to/48Lc3Z7 It says on the label "Crude Fat . . (min) 38%" It has good reviews - but it ain't cheap!
Thanks. As long as I make videos I plan to be making this type of edited videos. Half of this was shot and edited before the last livestream video failure, and there or 4 or 5 more videos that are in process. They just take a lot of time. I am also still planning to do some more livestreams, once I get the internet thing sorted out. It was nice to be able to try to answer peoples questions in real-time. I know that that type of video is not for everyone, but many find it helpful for getting questions answered quickly and more completely. I will get the video quality issue sorted out.
