As a Kerber fan whenever I see the H2H with Vika , I just console myself with the fact that when Angie did beat Vika she actually won that slam.
True and not only that, she beat Serena to win it in first final attempt. Azarenka couldn’t do it in two attempts.
Could have added Venus Williams’ 11-0 record against Patty Schnyder and her 10-1 record vs Hantuchova
If you only look at the end result then yes the h2h between Na Li and Serena is embarrassing, but if you look the final score itself, the only embarrassing loss Li had against Serena is the 2013 USO SF, all the other Li was able to push Serena to 5-5 at least in one set. That tells me the difference between the two players are more in the mental side than physical side.
Agreed! I saw that as well. Li Na held her own against Serena and had close call wins!
partly yes but the fact of 10 consecutive losses to one person means the difference must be more than mental strength
@@Wow_sheng_yi_pian True but Serena debatably the GOAT so losing to her isn't that embarrassing
the golden age of WTA tennis
Kvitova and Safarova wore the same outfit every match -.-
That's why what Kerber did in AO 2016 needs to be celebrated (beating Azarenka and Serena). She really gave it her all and it paid off. This is coming from a big Serena fan.
Serena was off. It happens.
@J. Cole absolutely but people have still lost to a less than stellar Serena and Serena got the match back on serve in the 3rd. Angie still got it done.
@@ak-xp4hp not the same post 2015. Serena played horribly in finals after the US Open semi loss. Serena gave the match away.
4:47 "Run, run!" will always be funny to me. 🤣🤣🤣
Sharapova v Stosur and Vika v Kerber surprised me. Serena v Sharapova is the most iconic H2H though, Serena vowed to never lose to her again after her two first losses at Wimbledon and the YEC.
Vika and Kerber often 3 sets but I wonder why Kerber never won
I have always loved matches between sharapova and Aga and Maria was so pissed every time 😂🤬
2012 WTA Finals Aga v Masha's match was first tennis match ı saw. Both of my favorite WTA stars. ❤️
For me anothet embarrassing H2H in women history is Sharapova 9 Makarova 0, she could not stand Maria's baseline game, and although Sharapova H2H against Radwanska is 11 - 2, her lost to Aga in 2012 still makes me cry.
P/s : Lisicki is into the QF, you musr be very happy, have a nice day 🥰
Yeaaaaa!!! I’m really happy🥰🥰🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💛💛
@@Sabinelisickifansss now the H2H vs errani is 5-1
Actually sharapova led radwanska 13-2 :))
Potential new most embarrassing WTA H2H - Swiatek vs. Gauff. Swiatek is only 21 y.o. and Gauff is 18, but their H2H is already 5:0 for Swiatek. Also Coco didn't win a set in no one of the games in which they faced eachother and if you follow very well their "rivalry" the results are becoming more and more one sided - their Rome 2021 match was interesting, although it ended in 2 sets, in Miami 2022 it wasn't 100% one sided but in Roland Garros, San Diego and WTA Finals Iga totally demolished Coco.
True. And this trend won't change until Coco improves her forehand. It's her biggest weakness, it drags her down big time. More and more players learn how to exploit Coco's FH.
Swiatek should stop the arm waving shenanigans.
@@stephaniefagan1736 she never did that in the matches against Coco. She did it in two matches in US Open - against Davis and against Jabeur and in San Diego final against Vekic. Also in two of the three matches the opponents won the point after the waving of hands, so...
@@xxxxxxxx8634 never said it was against Gauff. She needs to stop period.
@@stephaniefagan1736 true that 🤣😂
We should not count Serena, as she's almost dominant against any player, even Vika, Sharapova, Wozniacki and Halep
Wait what? Just because Serena was very dominant we shouldn’t count her? Why not?
I like the way you included some epic moments in between the highlights. The "run, run", "b****", and Caro mocking Niculescu's grunt 😂
Why did Sharapova say that?
@@felixfranco She was getting frustrated with Aga's relentless counterpunching.
Kerber - Lisicki 6:0
Ok, 20x2 is another world...
Lmfao not Halep the doper’s idol
@@spillomina Sorry, I've had half a bottle of wine, I didn't get what you mean lol
@@g2luizhenrique Halep s idol is Sharapova. You know why? They’re both dopers
Radwanska won against serena in the Hopman cup 2015. We though it was a ground breaking moment for us where she would finally win a slam then she gave us a great 2016 and then her body gave up in 2017/2018 and then she retired.
It was an exhibition
Ooh, no wonder Serena wasn’t as motivated to win. Lol 😅 it was still a fun match
Kerber VS Azarenka is just a bad match Up for Angie. But their matches are always high level and really intense
The call coco vs Iga the next gen one sided “rivalry”
I don’t get it Iga is another gen with Osaka and others coco is younger then them why are they in the same gen
@@albertopadilla3182 Iga is 4 years younger than Osaka and 3 years older than Coco so idk why u put iga and Naomi in the same bracket when the age difference between those 2 are bigger than difference between iga and Coco
Aga vs. Masha always be in epic! ❤️
20-2 is a joke 😅😅😅 but Aga vs. the same Maria is really nice too. On clay Aga could play 900 matches against Maria without an arm and Aga would lose all them anyway if my rubbish memory works Maria won RG 3x in a row 2011, 2012, 2013.
she won only in 2012 and 2014
Two rg
She made the final 3 times in a row. Won in 2012 and 2014
We all knew how this video was gonna end
8:06 Serena has NEVER forgiven Maria for that. 🤣🤣🤣
Would you! 😂😂😂😂
Serena has way too many pigeons
20-2 vs Sharapova
18-5 vs Vika
10-0 vs Radwanka
10-2 vs Halep
10-0 vs Safraova
10-1 vs Wozniacki
11-1 vs Na
6-0 vs Pavlyuchenkova
10-3 vs Kuznetsova
10-2 vs Mauresmo
I wonder how many wins that iga could have won if she was on renas era.
7-2 against Clijsters. Clijsters usually played her very tough but came up short.
@@krishnakumar2390 zero.
Funniest thing is, she won most of these matches not even playing her A or B tennis. Serena really was just on a different level lmao
@@JCole-fg3rr iga fans calling Sharapova as overrated played in a weaker era
Henin 14-2 vs petrova and 16-3 vs kuznetsova are so ridiculously insane :))) hahahahaha
Serena ate Sharapova for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!
Puntos finales y descontrolados.🔥🙌🎯‼️
Radwanska-Pironkova and Radwanska-Bartoli I would add to the list.
Irrelevant players aren’t here
@@aaronusernamefiller9435 wozniacki and niculescu are there so yes, irrelevant players are featured
Pliskova vs Radwanska
@@spicy_kitty7983 yeah makarova is here too
Kerber was a great player who reached three slam finals in a single year, a feat rarely accomplished by anyone these days and at that time except serena. In many matches against vika, she has played too good (US 2015) however didn't won them
oh, I’m early? And not a video from 8 months ago… slay ig
Another one is Pennetta leading Stosur 8:0 😂
Really? Never figured that. Pennetta is my favorite player ever. Miss her some much on court.
The Kvitova/Safarova h2h surprises me.
Chris Evert V Virginia Ruzici
23-0
Now that’s embarrassing.
I knew it! I knew the video would end with the Serena vs. Sharapova "rivalry".😅
Other lopsided records between top/highly decorated players: Henin 10-0 vs Jankovic, Henin 11-2 vs Dementieva, Kuznetsova 14-4 vs Radwanska, Serena is 10-2 vs Mauresmo, Davenport is 12-4 vs Mauresmo, Clijsters 11-3 vs Dementieva.
Despite of the loss since decades Serena likes Sharapova in person is what made their rivalry a great one.
This is going to make those odd Radwanska die-hard fans sad.
So are Azarenka and Kerber good friends off the court? Kerber was friendly/professional in all those handshakes at the net which she rarely is when she loses.
I guess you get what you put in. Azarenka is respectful, makes eye contact and smiles. Makes it easy to reciprocate
Halep also has an unbeatable record against Tsurenko and then Henin also had an unbeatable record against Jankovic.
Graf Tauziat 21 - 0 Quite embarassing too
And every matches in 2 sets !!
Gauff & Iga ; make her receive 2 bagels in less a month.
Kerber has more slams though
I believe Serena genuinely hates Sharapova which is why everytime they played against each other Serena brought her A game. After all Serena was the more accomplished player yet Maria got all the attention, endorsements, beauty compliments
Extremely true
At the time yes, but I think they have both got over it. The Met Gala pics were fire.
As horrible as it sounds the reason Maria got all endorsements is because of how attractive she is. Attractive, athlete, talented, and blonde goes very far in world run by horny men lol
@@c.j.carney8432 Osaka is not blonde or attractive like Maria so...
Yet Serena is richer and more successful 💗💜.
@@lyd2460 when people have hundreds of millions and fame doesn't matter who has more hundreds of millions
Aga Radwanska won Serena once in 2015
Pliskova 9 - Muguruza 2
Tons more on here that people aren't saying I mean Hingis Sanchez Vicaro was super lopsided something like 19-2 believe it or not I know Seles won more slams than Hingis but lost the H2H 15-5. Graf and Sanchez Vicaro I know she beat Steffi in majors won 2 of her 4 majors against Graf but in 36 matches Steffi was 28-8 Seles even better 20-3. I get the video most embarrassing 1 to 3 wins with more than double digit losses. Good video though.
How can you forget Martina Hingis vs Sandrine Testud. It's 16-0 !!!
Azarenka/Cornet 8-0, Azarenka/Svitolina 5-0!
4:50 🤡😤
I agree! That "Run, run!" was SO BITCHY
It was iconic
Why did Sharapova say that?
Clijsters - Hantuchova 11-1 (a retirement win for Daniela), Clijsters - Schiavone 12-0.
I could swear radwanska won a game against serena
Hingis vs sanchez
Hingis vs kournikova
Hingis vs testud
Hingis vs testud 16-0 - Hingis vs Arantxa 18-2
we know which h2h that you will put last even before starting the video! the ultimate slaveryyyyyyyyy
Jankovic Henin 0-9
0-10 actually. Fun fact is 6 of 10 matches went to 3 sets, two matches ended 7:6 7:5. Only twice Justine won easily and she admitted how annoying it was to play Janković every single time.
peak Jankovic drove a lot of players crazy. I think only Sharapova was relatively comfortable against her.
@@plantahari Clijsters 8-1
There is something Serena said in 8:09
You’ll pay for that.
Keep on dreaming
23 GS
Bye Felicia
Radwańska beat Williams in hopman cup 2015
Radwańska won with Williams once
Wait li na actually has a win over Serena?
Second round in Sttutgart 2008.
Her first match against serena and her only win :)))) since then
Osaka- Putintseva: 1-3
