Those captions in Strycova’s footage are from the original video, were not added by me🙏🏻
That's good. Because these comments were stupid
@@vitekkozov3980 No, those comments were right. You are stupid. With first challenge Venus Williams had to get umpire's attention first, because umpire was looking in opposite direction, with second challenge, she challenged immediately after the call, with third, her challenge interrupted umpire, so all three of her challenges were correct. No mistakes done.
Those comments were so wrong hahaha
@@Michelmichel1984 Nope. Read tennis rules, you dumbass.
Who is the umpire? Hopefully she for downgraded
How did Cirstea not absolutely lose her shit??? I would’ve been personally attacking the umpire and every single line judge 😅 huge props to her for handling it like an absolute pro
Serena style 2009 US Open 😉
I admire Cirstea for not completely losing it in the match with Cheatbulkova. I would be sooooo furious!
The umpire was not real focus on the match too
Embarrassing behavior from the line umpires
That's most horrible umpiring ever. This umpire was total amateur.
That match was an embarrassment. I’ve never see so many terrible line calls
Ale ta Cybulkowa, okropnie się zachowała, powinna się przyznać że wzięła czelencz!
Pliskova had every right to be angry, neither the umpire nor the line judge did their job
That umpire even had the audacity to lie and say that she lost the mark. What a liar and thief that umpire was. 😠😠😠😠😠
Nor Liar Sakari
That umpire always comes up on these videos. Incompetent
Yeah she got wronged there and you can see it was clearly in, even if you don't opponent claiming they didn't see the ball is a classic tell in these situations. Also both the umpire and the line judge saying they lost the mark is outrageous. If you lose the mark it should be treated as you wiping off the mark.
Ban this umpire endless
The most sickening display of unsportsmaship by Serena. She went on a rant, acted as if she's an innocent victim and made it all about herself and her entitlement. She was nasty on the chair umpire, she didn't show the slightest respect to her opponent and during the presentation, it was again all about her. Just sick.
I love that Pliskova went on to win Rome the year after ❤
How many ovas has there been in women's tennis?
@20:30 Pliskova's "leave you hangin'" handshake & then chopping down the umpire's chair did crack me up. There's no excuse for looking at the wrong ball-mark on clay when the player is clearly telling you which one it was.
Cirstea's umpire mistakes was incredible. Omg
I am sorry for Osaka, she was killing Serena fair and square and she knew it so she used the whole episode with the referee as an excuse
that's simply not true. Serena is known to have NEVER asked for on court coaching, regardless of the tournament. Also, men consistently verbally abuse umpires and use much worse language towards them and do not receive violations. Although yes, the drama overshadowed Naomi's win somewhat, it was merely not intentional.
Serena causing all of that drama and then Patrick afterword being like, "Oh yeah, we were DEFINITELY coaching," makes her look like even more of a clown.
One more way Serena changed the game. Now coaching is completely legal.
@keeganthorpe I don't understand why coaching during a match is allowed. In my opinion would if you are a good enough player to enter the tournament then you should play on your own. It's like taking the teacher into the exam room to help you with the hard questions.
@@gailsykes2691 Name any other sport where coaching isn't allowed during competition.
@PolarBearProblems Well I'm no expert but my comment stands for all sports. I'm sure sprinters, swimmers etc get advice before a race but once they're out there they're on their own.
@@gailsykes2691 but those sports are pure output. They don't require tactics. Any sport where you are competing against a team, not just the clock, you can coach. Every sport except tennis.
What the hell was going on in Cirstea's match. She was pretty calm for how much she got wronged.
If you show your ass too much, that's apparently bad for Tennis. She had to. If you show any real emotion, you get listed as a whiner and a cry baby.
Fun fact: putintseva actually accused her coach of watching videos about flat earth.
Makes me giggle.
Putinseva is a spoiled brat who thinks she’s better than she is - on the court and off. Pathetic
💀 I mean if fire my coach if I learned they were a flat earther lmao
I’m actually wondering how soon afterward, did she fire him?!
Is Putintseva related to Putin?
Serena Williams: "I've never cheated in my life", yeah, right, and I'm Madonna :D
23:09 I will never forget Osaka at this moment, trying to hide herself. And she had probably never forgotten this moment too.
it was completely disgusting of the us open crowd. one of my least favorite tennis memories.
Good.
Osaka's fake and a bitch.
The US crowd is the nastiest, it's a tie between them and French crowds.
why were they booing'? i'm a newb
why were they booing'? i'm a newb @@mafthew
Were the refs at the Cristea game on an internship or what's going on? Never seen a more outrageous situation
To be fair Pliskova, Cirstea and Riske were absolutely right in this cases. On the other hand, my opinion about Williams really changed after that final. Poor Osaka and poor referee!
I always knew Serena was like that. When I was 7 years old watching the 2009 US open drama I was able to recognize how ridiculous she was. Since then, I’ve tried pointing out her insane antics to people, but even now everyone tries to pas it off as normal behavior
@@colesmith7509 no one cares. she's a multi-millionaire. go cry to your mama.
@@colesmith7509 because they don't know tennis. she has became the poster girl for everyone who doesn't watch tennis. "omg Serena is so amazing", yet they can't name a single other player. they are missing out on a great sport of great talented female players or completely forgotten about some of the all time greats.
tbf Serena can be both the GOAT and sometimes a crazy asshole.@@ThisIsMyRodrick
Putintseva's coach was so calm despite all that abuse he was getting.
The only downside of electronic line calls is that it deprives us of some high quality drama between players and umpires.
Definitely right!! It has become so boring in a lot of tournaments
That's a fact!
So true, and there’s also something that makes a match or set finish so much better if it’s a lines-person shouting out rather than a prerecorded voice doing it in a bland tone, adds to the theatrics
You are 100% correct! I know they wanna get everything right these days, and I’m sure if my living depended on it, I’d feel the same way. BUT, as a fan, I miss the days where there’s a bit of drama, or someone explodes because they feel they’ve been wronged. It’s great to watch for sure
"You cannot be serious!"
I don’t know why Badosa is complaining 😅 you throw your racket you’re going to get a code
Listen to why she got coded .. that’s what she was complaining about.
shes so freaking BEAUTIFUL
strycova getting humbled by Venus Williams at the end was so funny lol
Venus wasn't that impressed with Strycova's antics. Strycova just completely lost control of herself.
Phenus was about to go full Crip
As impactful as the one against Naomi was, I'd almost say Serena's outburst in the match against Clijsters is worthy of being on a list like this too
Serena is an a-hole. She is far worse than any men. Demanding an apology and trying to intimidate a man into apologizing to her simply by enforcing the laws. She is such a misogynistic b-tard.
Serena’s an unhinged lunatic
Yes, the death threat should have topped the list..
@@TheDersertAirAnd she could've made good on that death threat, given the massive strength disparity between the tiny Japanese line judge and the muscular, butch bully.
Ans the sam stosur 2011 us open. People forget that one. Terrible person.
That strycova reaction was so right. The umpire was absolutely ridiculous here.
I thought I was the only one thinking so?? All of those challenges were late. Venus hit the balls out and then decided to challenge, that’s not supposed to be how that works.
Exactly. Every time it was late. It was justified on strycova side
The umpire during the Riske match was definitely sleeping cause wtf was that call
I too don't understand. If a ball touches opponent's leg point is over and you win that point. That umpire clearly was idiot.
And it's sooo... basic
Can somebody explain to me what happened? Riske hit her opponent on the leg, and the ball came back to her court. Even if the umpire didn't see that touch, Riske ended up playing the point and winning it anyway. What did the umpire say to claim that the point was for the opponent? I couldn't hear it.
@tmdp76 the umpire told her she disrupted the point/hindrance for saying sorry to the player after the ball made contact to her body. But obviously Riske wouldn't have said sorry if the ball didn't hit the opponent. Hence why Riske should've won the point as soon as the ball touched the opponent, and not lose the point.
@@HAPPYDUCKize oh thanks! Now I get it! 👍
Serena meltdown at the US open is legit downright one of the worst and most unsportsmanlike things I have ever seen in any sport. She basically ruined a GS final for everybody because of her sense of entitlement. She ruined it for the crowd, for the umpires and especially for her young opponnent. Even if the chair umpire was completely wrong (which he wasn't) and made a terrible mistake (which he didn't), that was still horrible how she acted
She should have been banned from the US Open for life
thunderstruck, I thoroughly agree with you. Firstly, Serena had an air of entitlement. She had convinced herself and many of her fans that she invented the sport. Yes, they changed the way the sport is been played, before they came on the scene, tennis was boring. Nevertheless, everything is not about her.
Roid rage, same as in 2009 against Clijsters and on 2011 against Stosur
thank god she is gone, ugly bag
Serena is just a spoiled brat. She will go down in history not as a good tennis player but as someone who wanted her own way all the time. Thankfully it did not work this itme. Good on the umpire
Great video. I have seen some of these clips so many times but they are so entertaining so thank you. Some ridiculous decisions really do cause unnecessary situations😳
Maybe that’s why Sakkari is so unlucky in semifinals. She couldn’t tell the truth in that match 🤣
Mogła powiedzieć Sakari, dobrze wiedziała że Pliszkowa zdobyła punkt. Nieuczciwe z jej strony.
And 5 years later Pilskova still is getting bad karma. 😄😁😂
Cirstea's is not a meltdown; she was standing up for herself. Pliskova, a really regrettable incident; they did her wrong. Really should have Zvonareva's epic Charleston meltdown up. And there are a couple more "glaring" admissions, including Hingis's notorious loss of focus in the FO final and likewise for Jankovic in the US Open semi where it was not so much anger as losing the plot over a call.
There's quite a few compilations hingis could be in. The most disgraceful audiences is one of them...
What Serena did was unacceptable. Poor Naomi to be in that situation
Poor Cirstea... the lines judge are basically blind.
Serena vs Osaka was tough to watch... I grew up admiring Serena and I know Naomi did as well.
The Cornet one is hilarious
The Williams sisters are much more judicious with their challenges.
When you have "too much ego" problem, you should watch that US Open final over and over again!!!
I’ve been fortunate to attend many WTA matches and so here goes.... Many of the talented women are divas and smart-ass, disrespectful people who work hard but are never wrong and never want to be told they are wrong.
4:08 - Venus said in translation “I AM NOT THE ONE SO PLEASE DONT TRY ME” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Really feel for Cirstea in this match. Its almost as if the match was rigged for her to lose
players know when a ball is in or out. i love Sakkari but she would have been heroic if she gave the point away. i think she knew in the moment but wanted the match too much to do the right thing.
fk sakkari, she did it again, ironically, to Pliskova too, a couple of years later.
Cirstea had the right to be upset. And Cibulkova did stop that one point and it should've gone to Cirstea.
Well, again, Carlos Ramos was 100% right in this US Open final. Too bad that he was "punished" in 2019 by not officiating on any Williams matches
Serena’s one was so heartwarming to see 😂 shame to her, for disrespecting Naomi as opponent
That’s why I loved Chrissie…always cool calm and collected …
Watching the Venus vs Strycova one again, I love Vee but that would’ve annoyed me too, so many late calls allowed by the umpire.
Nuh. Only one call. The rest wasn't even late. Players are allowed to double check with umpire before challenging.
@@nk6536 Players are allowed to check the line or double comfirm with the umpire, which is what Venus was doing. I see it happening all the time with Sharapova, Federer, etc.
@@secrets.295 No, not after you hit the ball. Here they hit the ball and it's an error and THEN they call for hawk eye. That is too late. When you mishit - ur fault and no more chance to challenge
@@nk6536 it seemed pretty late to me but not late like we've seen players challenging 15sec after sometimes, up to the umpire cuz i've seen Nadal in double asking for a challenge 1sec later and umpire was dumb to not allow it, but in the end there were lots of mistakes from the line judge against Venus, if they weren't doing mistakes plenty times then Venus wouldn't have made late calls or took few seconds to think about it, Strycova is honestly mad for nothing as if challenging was forbidden + it was just fair in the end as she lost all those points except maybe 1.
Strycova is a bad sport. Always has been. Best way to know the call was wrong? Barbora complains when you challenge. Facts
4:23 and 13:41 this is why I prefer automatic call system over line judges, this was ridiculous.
The thing is that Strycova was completely right
Yeah she was letting Venus challenge way too late. It’s supposed to be immediate
I agree. The star power of Venus "maybe" ;) helped her to get away with it. Wheter Venus was right or wrong about the calls is not the issue here, she was too slow to challenge.
No, she was wrong. Watch the clip more carefully. Venus Williams challenged the calls all three times according to rules. It wasn't late.
@@einarsd4 No, at least twice she waited for her balls to go out and then decided to challenge
@@felixb2279 That's exactly how you challenge the call, you idiot. You can't challenge the ball before it bounced at least once. You just proved that you don't even know how to challenge the call.
Ok as much as I adore Venus, her challenges were soooo slow that match with barbora. Venus obviously waited for her shots to go out then challenge.🤷♂️
Same
isnt that how it works? 😂 how can you challenge a call before one is made? 😂
@@TheMega12121 She was challenging the previous shot. Not the one that went out
Strycova queen of sportsmanship as always
Williams was such a spoiled and entitled brat in that match. She tried everything, I'm a woman, it's not fair, I'm a mother. I'm surprised she didn't pull the race card too.
The way Strycova stared at Venus at the end of the match was hilarious. As if that would intimidate her at all.
Was mostly to let her know she won by cheating 🤷♂️
@@mistermister6940cheating? Had Venus not call out the bad plays then Strycova would’ve won unfairly. Strycova should’ve been mad at the judges for giving her false hope with the bad calls
Serena Us Open 2009, hold my beer
i love it.
It has to be said, so many of the problems are caused by officials. If the calls were made correctly, we wouldn't be having a lot of these conversations. This is why electronic line calling is necessary.
I love Strycova and Venus!! Love that firey side of Barbora. Two fighters going at it!
You can add now the new Pliskova vs Sakkari drama at Indian Wells 2023...
Badosa threw a racket and had problems when got a warning 😂😂😂 wtf
Threw a racket - shut up and keep being silent…..
Venus Williams “is that look for something” 😂😂😂
And notice Strycova had NOTHING to say. All that mouth during the match, and nothing to say when confronted face to face 😂😂
she almost went full ghetto...
Ivanovic and Cirtea - best body shapes and legs in tennis!
Once Sakkari is in a story ... u have right to presume that fairplay is being hindered
I’m just wondering (out loud), but maybe this is a Greek thing??! Because Tsitsipas has this same reputation on the men’s side
Amazing list, but for me will forever Zvonareva be queen of meltdowns. Charlston 2010 and her Pattaya final against Hantuchova were amazing. From this list, Serena and Pliskova deserve their possitions.
Zvonareva starting to tear apart her bandaging at the US Open!
Omg yes, Vera!! 🤣🤣🙈 If you were watching the “Russian invasion” in the mid 2000s (Sharapova, Myskina, Dementieva, Kuznetsova, Safina, Likhotseva,, Kirilenko, Vera!) you’ll def remember that Vera just could NOT keep her cool! She would erupt ALL the time and just it cost her so many matches
@@MMM18092 amazing match against Pennetta 😎
@@ohhiitsjustme3445 Safina was also interesting when she was mad 🤣. Yes, all of then were amazing. I would also add Nadia Petrova to your list.
That one girl is a saint. I would have walked up there and been like... I'm about to walk outta here. How many calls can you get wrong before someone catches on that you're rigging the game? She literally stopped looking at the tracker replay because she knew it was gonna be on her side. Started to serve. That game should have been investigated after. Someone was taking a bribe.
4:05 🤣🤣 OMG. Love it. 😂
Cirstea game was ridiculous, all linesmen should have been substituted
Oh wow Mauresmo's backhand was ❤❤
It’s one thing to vocalize your frustration but when you start throwing rackets you should not just be penalized a point but a game, you should be able to control your behaviour. I do think the Line judges need replacing if they continue to make the wrong call.
The one from Pliskova even in low quality you can see it was in!
Pliskova’s shot was so in! Like Serena 2004 all over again!
Strycova had every right to be angry after the umpire said the score.
Exactly!
don't waste your challenges, hahahah gets me everytime.
You owe me an apology!! I have never cheated, i have a daughter and i stand what's right for her!!!You know how much men do this? It's because I'm woman that's why this is happening to me.
Yeah first the bereavement of the umpire, then the crocodile tears when she knows she is wrong. Finally in true Serena style, play the gender card. "Oh if it was a man it would be different". Sore loser!
What a cheater Maria Sakkari is... i didn't see it 😂 19:20
That's why she won only Rabat so far, karma is a bitch 🙃
In tennis, players can come together and they can concede points. When you get hit with the ball, if the umpire doesn't see it and gives the point to you bc of a verbal hindrance, you should come forward and demand that your opponent get the point since the ball hit you. It makes me sick how often players sit back and just accept cheap points even when they know they don't deserve them.
How come Zvonareva's meltdown against Stosur is not on the list? It's definitely a top 3 worth moment.
"what are you gonna do if I start clapping"....he says....lol
strycova - 100% in the right, every damn one of those challenges were way late, crazy
Strycova was correct about the third challenge. The umpire already called the score.
Serena could have easily made the top 3 of this list.
Love Riskes defence
Why on earth are they still using human line judges in this sport? Makes no sense.
Remember you are doing a great job with the WTA videos on UA-cam. Only, don't post any more videos of Iga doing a jumping jack.
😅😆
Cool to see i have the same raquet as the first vid person :0
That Serena outburst was a shocker to me. I lost a lot of respect for her. I mean I would be able to look away if she had done this at an early stage of her carreer but at this point? The entitlement is just apauling.
The worst is bringing her daughter into the whole thing... and then saying it's because she's a woman. Just bad, bad sportsmanship and trying to milk people for sympathy. She was appalling.
@@vanzyli The whole arguing was wierd. Like: "You own me an appology?!" and that wasn't just rethorical she actually waited for it. Even if she was in a right, you've been playing tennis for 2 decades, you know how world rolls. Such a diva moment.
I guess you have never seen the USO Clijsters' match. Look it up.
@@jacklo325 I've seen that. And to be frank I have high tolerance for outbursts. Like i get it you are frustrated, you lash it out an move on. And maby mature a bit? But this was just going on an on and on. I mean after that one you would expect her to know better?
@@gregorv1987 yes, you are right. She should know better, and it's not the 1st time she lost an important match over something trivial.
Allison Riske is my new favorite player
I am definite there was somthing wrong with hawk eye in the Cibulkova match. Those balls looked out andi can see why they were called out.
Again it’s amazing how so few adults can regulate their emotions.
Can you imagine how Serena would meltdown if she got as many bad calls as Sorana Cirstea?
but she did....several in matches with Henin.
Oh, but she has received plenty of bad calls. How about the US Open 2004 quarter final against Capriati. The line judge made so many terrible calls that it was painful. Serena handled it pretty well.
Goodness me, the cornet meltdown is pure comedy!!!!
Pliskova's was the best! 😂
Deveriam colocar legenda em português !🇧🇷
strycova was so ridiculous lol
Bad behavior in tennis started with Connors and McEnroe. Thanks guys. The umpires lost control at that point. If I were the umpire, Every time they open their mouth they would lose a point, every thing thrown a game or more.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉🎉Congratulations. Elena. Kazakhstan🇰🇿 😊😊😊
#1 fits.
the strongest tennis pad i saw here from head
Cornet commentator sounds like David Mercer.
Obviously a Venus fan who doesn’t know much about tennis made the Strycova video because Barbora was completely correct
Those captions are from the original videos, is not written by me😭😭
You obviously don't know tennis rules. Strycova was wrong. All three challenges were immediate.
Strycova was wrong and you don’t know the rules.
@@Sabinelisickifansss no I know that, I’ve watched the video from the original channel
@@einarsd4 no they were not, Venus waited till the points were finished to challenge rather than challenging when she thought it was out.
All sports need to be able to evolve with technology! If we can prove beyond a doubt that a call is wrong then it’s wrong.
Williams vs. Strycova: Proves that when things aren't going your way, women will try to change the rules and conditions.
Stanford vs. Cibulkova: It's an umpire problem and there really shouldn't have been. All of the calls were wrong when challenged. Why have umpires and or line judges if they can't do a simple task properly?
Putintseva: She's just another child who is not getting her way.
Cornet: Like the caption said, "Don't waste your challenges.
Pliskova: Again, umpire incompetence caused this and their supervisors are equally as incompetent.
Williams vs Osaka: Debatable whether the umpire was going above his charter but then again, Serena didn't have to lose it like that.
i like when they are fighting
i hope someday tennis chage to MMA or BOX
Serena: "because I'm a woman, you're gonna..." I would have stopped her right there. Now THAT's a lie!
Wish you could add some text for context so we would know what is going on though.
Putintseva and her coach are the best :D
Hmm..all coming together...Beautiful anger...
