Out of all 2 strokes ive had, the blaster is the hardest to put back on a pipe getting the damn hole lined up haha great video guys! 2k cannot believe it man great tutorial blasters are just so easy to do a top end on! Can't wait for the next video. Soon you will be celebrating 3k you just wait!

Im about to do this to my brother's blaster plus some. Guy before used rtf and it plugged the ports. Gotta rebuild entire top end and get a new crank/crank bearing

I just bought some a soil dominator the other day and it made my blaster so mush more snappy than maxima super m oil.

Hey do you know where to get a 2004 blaster stator that is 4 wire ? Or are they 5 wires . I have got 2 that don't work . Any links on where to get one from buffduckracing ?

@@buffduckracing7721 guess what happened today so I was starting my Yamaha blaster and I pull the choke out so it starts hitting the rev limiter until I popped it into gear ⚙️ even the kill switch would not work now I’m scared 😱 to ride it what should I do?

I have a question I have a blaster that’s not cranking .. rewirted everything need reeds cleaned the carbs and new sparks plug but it’s still not cranking ... the comp. test says 119 is that good comp. or do I need to do my top in also
119 is a little low but it should definitely run like that. 150 is where you should be at. I would make sure everything is clean, make sure you have spark and fresh gas. Keep me updated🤟🏽🦆
Thats really low the book says 140-160 psi.

I bought a 66mm Wiseco piston for my blaster and it is too small by .5 but my cylinder head still reads 66mm so a stock bore piston should fit right. So idk what I did Wrong

What type of engine oil you use for your blaster ?

@@buffduckracing7721 i used valvoline 10w 30 full synthetic oil. I did some research and a few people said synthetic oil bad for the clutch. Is that true ? I rode the blaster for two days straight with it. I just got it running because it had a blow top end. I put in a wiseco piston and she rides like a beast but I’m worried about the engine oil I put in her :(

No, it just won’t have good compression making it lack power.
How often do you replace the top end of a blaster?
Whenever the compression is low and it’s hard to start

Remove the carb remove the exhaust remove the coil wire and the 4 cylinder base bolts... boom. Pull the top end out as an assembly.

I've never done a leak down test on my 97 or 03 blasters when rebuilding top end and no issues I only do it if rebuild bottom end or split cases
