Love the scape and how the acros are growing out! Nice job. Was about to comment that the lower middle section could use come contrasting greens/oranges but saw that you already planted those frags in the close up - that's going to look great with the color balance
Love the scape and acro placement! Beautiful white tail tang too, my favorite fish. I can tell by your anemones that your flow is far too slow for acropora. I understand you have a mixed reef and that makes it difficult. I think two gyres or two more Nero’s at the top facing directly towards each other on a random setting would push turbulence down and make your acros happier.
@@todd3024 thank you, I appreciate it!! I appreciate the advice, my flow is dialed in perfectly to my taste , I’ll probably end up running 2 more Nero 5’s eventually to cause more of a random flow pattern 👍🏼
@@FaceofSpace thanks a lot I really appreciate it!! My advice would be to get yourself a par meter to find out how much light your gonna give them , quality lights and use a spectrum that’s tried and true, lots of indirect random flow, and you need to keep stable water parameters and start off with low nutrients to avoid browning out 👍🏼
Hey nice rocks cape. Keep up the great work!!!! I'm interested in some coral. Where are you at in L.A.? I'm in Ventura County. I'm interested in hammers FROGSPAWN and some sps.
Is your rock along the back wall or is there a gap? Im starting a new tank and want to push my rocks back more towards the wall and was wondering what your thoughts with putting the scape along the back wall. Is it hard to keep detritus out from behind it?
@@maxl1210 Good luck with your journey, I’m here to help as much as I can! I definitely have a gap about 6 to 8 inches from the wall to allow flow behind the scape, and also to leave space for my acros, monti’s and chalices back there.
I think its the ridiculous price tag they put on bubble tip anenomes that convinces people to buy them. Every person who has them hates them. Theres a giant basket at both of my LFS FULL of huge colorado sunburst anenomes that stay unsold.
@@pswanberg1 I know what you mean, I only originally bought them for my clown pair but they definitely do get annoying only cause they move around, if they stayed put I would love em. I also sell them now and use for store credit so it’s works out.
Lookin' dope!!! The new acro rock/arch is perfect and that back wall is stunning ... LOVE that beautiful Monti cap!!! 👊🙏
@@scottallan6770 I really appreciate that, thank you so much!!!

Love the tank dude! You've inspired me to look into acros. Do you have any advice for someone who wants to get into keeping them? Thanks!
