- How to place Frigidaire gallery refrigerator diagnostic mode. This video will also help you troubleshoot and activate each part to see if it failed or not. Example if your Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator freezing food you can test the Thermistor by placing it in service test mode and if temp on display reads 37 but your fresh food is freezing you have a bad Thermistor. Or if your Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator freezer not freezing you can activate the compressor to turn on. If it turns on in diagnosis mode but does not turn on when you are out of service mode that means your MPC is bad or you have a bad Thermistor or Relay or Inverter Control. Or maybe your Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator fan not working. Service Test Mode can also test low fan motor speed and high speed.

Thanks for the helpful info. I’m very handy and this is exactly what I needed to test freezer evaporator fan which it turns out had a big chunk of ice in it from water shut to ice maker being tilted.
Glad it helped
Code Er T8 has popped up on my model GRSC2352AFO Frigidaire gallery. Can’t find what it means and don’t see or hear any issues. Any ideas? Thanks!
My freezer is ice cold... Fridge is not as cold as it should be and the ice isn't frozen solid. Small drip out the chute. There is some ice built up at the back where the ice tray cover meets the back of the fridge.
FYI There should be a hidden printed - on - paper sheet of all of these diagnostic codes hidden somewhere in thie unit.
Please reply where you found yours.
Sofar . . . I have seen these found on YT . . . 1) Under the Top/Right Door Hinge cap 2) Folded & Stuck in a tiny envelope behind the front / bottom / Toe Grill beneath & behind the freezer door near the right/front wheel.
My unit comes tomorrow . . . I will run it with a Disabled & Unplugged Ice-Maker in the Frig . . . and Only Use the Freezer Ice-Maker ,
I don't need these inherent headaches. If the freezer ice-maker ever gives me any problems . . . I will disable that unit too.
I need to get 10 yrs. use from this. I didn't know this unit contained OEM Hand Greanades like this until now?
Not happy about not getting full use for something this expensive but when The Makers of U.S. Name - Brand stuff betray their customers and send everything overseas or Mexico to be built Cheaply with Chinese Parts and without any QC . . .
This is what you get . . . We're screwed and get use to it . . . Because that's just fine with Brandon & Hunter.
Cars are the same . . .
what is the code to turn on water on for ice maker? thank you
Is there a code to test the fan in the ice maker? Model FGHB2866pfga I’m trying to figure out why water is not going in the ice tray and why it’s not freezing cold in the ice maker compartment. I now have the ice maker completely removed and was able to blow compressed air through the ice maker water line so it’s not frozen. We are also getting water from the door water dispenser so I don’t think the filter would be a problem. Any ideas?
same issue
We have an error code T1 on our Fridgedaire Gallery French door refrigerator. Model FG4H2272UF. Freezer super cold and fridge freezing food. We have already replaced the Freezer temp sensor and control board based on recommendation but error still there. Any suggestions?
Have you check the damper to make sure it's not stuck open. activate damper door in diagnosis mode to close and place your hand by vent and check for air flow. So if damper is closed and you feel air that means your damper is stuck open. T1 bad thermistor, your sure you change the right one?
T1 error means ..The ice maker Temperature sensor (thermistor) signal is out of range.
@@onlineappliancetech thank you. We will give that a try. We had a service guy come out and after talking with Fridgedaire, they replaced what they called the Freezer temp sensor 🤷🏼♀️ That didn’t fix it so they replaced the control board. Still no luck, error code came back and fridge freezing food again
@@onlineappliancetech Wonder if we need to replace that one?
@@gennyarrenegado1570 the Thermistor is located under ice maker, meaning you will have to replace ice maker. Part number 243297613 . Best of luck Matthew!
There is a diagnostic for the freezer thermistor but I cannot find where that thermistor is located. Do you know where it is. (The fridge thermistor is easy to find)
can I have your model number please
The freezer thermistor is sometimes on the top of freezer with a white cover housing. If still can not find leave me model number.
@@onlineappliancetech Model number FGHC2331PFAA
@@johnmidgley2687 Hi, I checked into it, If you can not find a plastic cover on top or sides of freezer section, it's should be connect to the top of evaporator. I check out wiring diagram and it shows you have one for freezer, and 2 for fridge side. I have replaced many in the past and they where connected to to of evaporator. hope this helps best regards Matthew.
@@onlineappliancetech So it will be at the bottom back of the freezer?
