Im confused... is the defective thermostat control shutting off airflow to the food compartment (closing the damper prematurely) ? Or was it just presenting erroneous readings? My food comp is doing something similar, (no temp readout on mine). I went to your site but could find no vids on PLHS269ZCB4 Electrolux, just parts lists.

Okay so I have the same fridge in the video, stainless if that matters. I checked the damper like you showed in the video, Damper is working, opening and closing, return duct is okay. Problem I'm having is when we play with the setting on the control panel, everything shuts off, fridge still has power, lights come on, but the fans turn off and when we play with the controls again, the panel goes blank and beeps over and over. I'll unplug, let it sit for 15-20 min, plug back in and it's working again. Then we play with the controls and the same issue. My model # is DFHS2313MF2 by Frigidaire. Freezer is cold, fully defrosted, all fans are blowing like they should. Besides the control panel what else should I check or in your best guess is it just the panel that needs replacing.... Thanks

Ours is a Frigidaire side x side about 10 yrs old. Recently noticed a slight rise in the freezer temp. so adjusted the thermostat and all seems well. But at the same time, the frame around the freezer door is very warm or may even be considered hot(temps running from 90f to 104f. Is this a symptom of a defrost heater or thermostat gone bad or about to go bad? Maybe staying on longer than it should but still allows the freezer to cool down?

After you suspected the temperatures were off, wouldn't you hang a thermometer in the refrigerator and close the door for a while and compare the actual temperature to the readings on the refrigerator readout?

say tim do you have much experience with the ffss2614qeo frigidaire? i have one that i just can't get the fridge cold. i can actuate the damper door in manual mode and it does open and close on its own but the temps are running high. with the setting at 9 it runs around 50 deg and warmer at lower settings. i have a camera now watching the door with a t/s to monitor the cycle. at this time i went thru a setup on it and now the door remains open and the temp is 30 deg. so now i may have to turn it off and let it set for 15 minutes and then restart it to get it into run mode. i have a service guy telling the damper door is bad but i'm leaning on either to controller of the termistor. about a month ago it gave me a high fridge side temp warning and i found the lower port plugged with ice. so i went into manual defrost and watched the water drain into the lower pan so the heaters are working. i can cycle the fan and the damper door in service mode. and i can turn the compressor on and off. but i still have cooling issues. the freezer works great i can get it to 6 deg at setting 1 and -8 deg at setting 9 but i can't get the fridge side to change much. no matter what setting i go with. so any ideas what to look at? i have a baby cam in the fridge now watching the damper door and a t/s and the t/s is at 30 deg and the damper is still open and the settings are now at 9. thanks

I have a Frigidaire side-by-side, it is 6 months old, there is no water pressure for the water in the door, and the ice maker has stopped making ice. It does make a little bit of ice but nothing to talk about and it's also Hollow ice

The defrost control on this model is integrated in the temperature control right behind the display
I have the exact fridge model number E23CS78EPS2 and when I plug it in it seems that everything works OK it shows the temp on the food side and also on the freezer side then the interior lights start blinking on and off and after about 5 times on the freezer side of the display it starts flashing the number 2 on and off on and off and the fan and compressor cuts off what causes this???

Damper is not working. Is it the dampener that is bad or something else. And does that cause no power to run start relay
I replaced the fride thermistor and the defrost thermostat and this board yet my coils slightly frost over so I do a manual defrost and everything is fine for about an hour then the fridge temp starts going up and the freezer goes up or all the way eventually past -20 can anyone help

How do I reset the frig itself? I turned mine off and had it in storage and now it won't come on. The lights come on but nothing else. I was told I must rest it but don't know how.

My frigiaidaire saying hi
I have the same refrigerator, my temperature readings are doing the same thing, however I have uneven freezing on my evaporator, the first section freezing up. All of the fans are running properly, everything is clean, my freezer is not getting as cold as it used to . I’m not sure if I have a control problem or a compressor that’s failing to push the Freon through I hate to spend money for a control if my compressor is failing anybody seen this before?

@@karenpack6311 yes I bought a kit and put Freon in it, cools fine for about a year then I add a few more ounces of Freon. They wanted $800 to repair the leak.
