But like you, I reaffirm their unique awesomeness (after all, there's only one of them!) and remind them clothes work for us, not the other way around.

Yes yes yes girl these are the BEST tips for us chunkier ladies! I know so many ladies my size that wear clothes that are so wrong for their body shape and call it being "body positive"...there is nothing wrong with body positivity but wearing clothes that are to small or look really bad on a certain shape is not body positive...it's just making poor decisions. Our larger bodies are gorgeous and I believe we should wear clothes that flatter our beautiful bodies.

I wish you could know how much I look forward to your videos. I had commented on a previous one how I had been married for 26 years and I was not allowed to wear anything pretty or that fit. Watching your videos makes me feel like I've had a whole new world opened to me. Thank you for broadening my fashion choices.
As an anorexic in recovery I found myself going from size 6 (aus size) to a size 16-18 in the last 8 years. Adapting my wardrobe and learning how to dress for my body type has helped me feel a lot better. I caught a glimpse of me in a reflective glass window wearing a body con dress last week and it sent me spiraling into a depression. Thank you so much for your advice and guidance. I’ll be learning to dress my body type and be healthy, fit and strong vs starving myself and exercising trying to reach an unhealthy and unrealistic version of my old sick self. Bless ❤
Same happened to me. I’m depressed now and have been for exactly 1 month. I truly don’t like this weight but maybe if could learn how to dress I’ll feel better.
@@honeyisnatural5 I'm in the same place. I was never "small" to begin with but now have fibroids causing me to look 9 months pregnant and struggling with depression. I pray that we all will be able to beat depression and love ourselves and the people who genuinely love us. We need to recondition ourselves that what society deems as sexy / beautiful isn't real! It's fantasy resulting in the increase of plastic surgery, etc. So many women are literally dying trying to keep up with society's influencer s. We also need to stop judging others and focus more on being healthy- no matter the dress size. Blessings to all you beautiful women!
It is so important for young girls to see their moms feeling beautiful and wearing what make her feel confident. Many of us women grew up with moms who had unhealthy relationships with their bodies and did not know how to dress in flattering clothes. Because they didn't have that knowledge of what looks great on them, they couldn't pass that on to us. Thank you for your help!
This is so true. I grew up in the 90s, when moms all had pixie cuts, and wore unflattering boxy mom jeans with running sneakers. (Not like the cuter mom jeans of today.) Because she was a second wave feminist and working motherher, there was zero encouragement for me to be feminine growing up. I had to learn it myself as a teenager and an adult.
Open UA-cam and there you were this pretty dark face. I listened and was encouraged, I am one to put on loose-fitting tees and call it a day. I think I want to try some of your ideas now, 69yrs ain't too old to learn and get my groove back! You are definitely a God send to me and countless others. God bless you, and may He continue to use you to keep us inspired!
Fantastic video “IT’S OK” ……. At 59 getting fit means rediscovering me because what was great when I was younger has to accommodate my “tummy” now. Yes it is getting smaller but it’s exciting watching videos like this that teach me how to dress MY BODY SHAPE
I somehow ended up on an influencer discussing all the things certain ages should not wear and how it makes you look cheap, so I watched 2 more with pretty much the same message, I was nearly yelling at my screen at these women. lol You my dear are a Beautiful breath of fresh air. Thank You
First ever seeing this channel. I believe you have just 'saved my life'. I've been dressing like a bum for the last 20 years. I'd look at other +size women and wonder, 'Where do THEY shop?). I gave up shopping bcos of money and just looked like the stores sold the ugliest, circus tents. Now, I have direction. MOST OF ALL Your affirmations at the end were very powerful. I know these things. I should be speaking them aloud daily.
Thank you for the “you are worthy” talk towards the end♥️. This is the first time I’ve seen you nd your channel and I’m lifted by your content and positive message. Thank you.🥰
You are adorable. As a 72 year old white woman with belly fat that I cannot get rid of, your advice is really good. People think that I am really slim because I wear artfully applied clothing. I agree with you that you need clothes that fit. Since I sew I can make alterations to make the clothes fit. Sometimes I get impatient and I don’t want to do that but I know it’s the right thing to do.
You came in my feed, listened 2 seconds and subscribed lol. We still need to have women who influence wearing well fitted pieces and the proper undergarments. Keep up the good work!🌷❤️
Thank you for telling everyone that they are worthy and have value. Our own self esteem can defeat us. You are so positive and I again want to thank you for purporting all the woman with problems.

Thank you for addressing. Quite often, people think you are attacking them, for their size or body shaming. Not at all but there is a difference between chic and distasteful. I'm a slendour body, and believe me, not everything suits me. Self love has many elements that also includes tailoring what suits you, not what is in fashion. On another note, you are beautiful and Ray of sunshine to watch 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Great video. In this age of "always positive", it's nice to see someone address "dressing for your body type" and showing how fly you can make your flaws look.

This is the bed channel of its kind that I’ve ever seen! Modeling the Do’s and Don’ts, side by side, really helps me get what you’re talking about. Other channels tell you, but I can’t visualize what they mean. When they only show the Do’s, I can’t tell the difference. New sub!
Thank you so much for these tips I just hit 40 and my body has seemed to change and trying to style as if I was 21 was only bumming me out. So this video just gave me so many useful tips that I am definitely going to apply!!! Thanks boo!
You made a whole extra person. If someone says anything to you about your size, ask them if they enjoy breathing and to go apologize to their mother. Your size does not determine your worth.

I truly appreciate this post. I’ve gained a lot of tummy fat since starting the pill and doing my undergraduate studies. @@SuppleChicTV To be more specific, different widths of belts, and the correct placement meaning under the breast or at your midsection. I know everyone has a different body shapes but bow do you know where to place your belt when one has a fuller stomach How does one wear a belt so it flattering to your body. I’ve stayed away from belts because they seem to make my waist look wider than it is. Hope that helps.

❤️love this information I am in the category with the belly the large girls but I do try to address these pretty no much as you said THANK YOU VERY MUCH🙏🏽❤️❤️
I can count on one hand how often I watch these types of videos and certainly don't comment. But your video called out to me. I'm SO THANKFUL it did! I have always been the skinny girl you know, the one that was "fine" back in the day. Even after four kids, even after quitting meth after 20 years of using I still stayed thin. Well, maybe not thin, but certainly not overweight. Then I turned 45. And all hell broke loose. I started menopause, I got diabetes, you name it... it was one thing after another. I had always been very active and didn't have bad eating habits, but I developed them and now I am a whopping 230 lb.at 5'4" ( used to be 5'7" and 140 ...found out I had scoliosis as well ) And unfortunately for me with my genetic pool, both my mother and father's side all gain weight in the belly. So I basically look like an olive stuck on two toothpicks. God has blessed me with a great sense of humor and my way of dealing with it was making the jokes before anybody else could but I noticed after watching your video that I'm dressing like I used to and finding out that it just isn't working... And no amount of jokes is going to change that. I'm starting to not be that outgoing and social girl that used to be and I don't want that to change! it can't change! it's one of the most beautiful qualities I have so after watching your video I'm just going to surrender that this is who I am now and I'm okay with me as far as what's on the inside because I worked so hard through my rehab in these last decades that I've been clean to be the beautiful woman that I know I am and I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt in my life "on the inside" I just want the outside to match. I keep telling myself I had my days of beauty and all that so I need to just let go of it and now all I wear are leggings and big baggy t-shirts and that's not who I am! I was always such a wonderful dresser I don't mean to be conceited I'm just saying... I think I'm finally believing that I don't have to be that thin girl to be that beautiful woman and to be honest I don't want to attract the same attention now that I got back then. Lol that wasn't nothing but trouble! So thank you for getting me to take that first step and understand and admit that I am still beautiful it's just a different chapter and that I can still look nice. But now I have no idea where to shop I am unable to work now and literally have no money at best I can save up to buy something at Walmart but do they even have clothes specifically for my type? Where do I begin and how do I even shop for clothes that I know nothing about? I only know the type of clothes I used to wear I don't really have any friends that could take me that are in my situation or overweight so I don't really have anything to compare to all I have is my 73 year old mother who dresses nothing like I would ever dress LOL but still thinks that I should dress like her. Anyway if you could help me that would be great
Bravo!!! applause applause yes our body size does not determine our value.. regardless of what some males will tell you. (and some women for that matter) my weight has gone up and down and up again and down again. I have just as much value to loved ones., my workplace and people I meet when it's up as when it's down. great video with lots of good tips.
Thank you so much for this video; I've been feeling a little frustrated because I gain weight. You're a blessing to all women for encouraging every women to look her best in what she wears.

I had post this! I see too many women, especially young girls, with the belly fat/muffin-top just free-falling. Oh wow, you are truly great at this. I have watched others try to do a video on something that I am desperate to hear but they just do not have the talent for doing this (me neither). You start out high energy and stick on point (or on message), you never waffle and don't take all day to start getting to the issue at hand. There are more but my sister is a strategic communications expert and I have learned through her that there is a LOT more to this than just getting up and talking. You do a fantastic job. AND the issue is a very important one. Thank you so much!

I’ve been looking for so long someone with a nice style to help on this and this is the first helpful video I have found honestly thank you. You have no idea
When your showing a don't it would be nice if you showed how to make a don't a do. It helps me. Like that oversized pink dress you had on...how could you make it work if you already own that piece??
@@SuppleChicTV Yes it would be but I would love if you would do a video on it. I am learning to embrace my curves and how to make them look visually appealing. I have some pieces I know are not working for me so this would be a nice way to work them!
I take a cotton neck scarf those long ones, twist it and use as a belt it works for me, just don’t pull the belt too tight let it droop slightly to the side not in front hope that helped
Gather the shirt in the back until it's as form-fitting as you like. Fold the shirt over once (left or right) and put the belt on while keeping that fold. After you secure the belt, gently tug on the shirt so that it falls at the same place all the way around. Adjust the shirt at the back of necessary. Hope that helps. 💜 I absolutely LOVE statement belts and I do this all he time with tunics to make them look like dresses.

Bless ❤
You are worthy, you have value. Keep thriving sisi❤
@@ChooseU4ever thank you sister x
Same happened to me. I’m depressed now and have been for exactly 1 month. I truly don’t like this weight but maybe if could learn how to dress I’ll feel better.
Wishing you all the best & continue loving yourself unconditionally and unapologetically ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for giving us a dose of kindness, encouragement, and self confidence in addition to practical fashion advice🙌!!!
Thank you for speaking on undergarments!!!!! So needed!
I listened and was encouraged, I am one to put on loose-fitting tees
and call it a day. I think I want to try some of your ideas now, 69yrs ain't too old to learn and get my groove back! You are definitely a God send to me and countless others. God bless you, and may He continue to use you to keep us inspired!
You’re so fly Queen. Glad YT recommended your page. 💜
Girl stawwwp it! So glad you found us! Welcome to fam xx
I just wanna say, thank you. I *was* insecure, but knowing that others struggle with this issue, helped me. ALOT.
Thank You
I would never have thought to wear a high waist with my big tummy. I am going to follow you. Thanks for the great info.
You are so pretty!!
MOST OF ALL
Your affirmations at the end were very powerful. I know these things. I should be speaking them aloud daily.
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m very guilty of the big baggy clothes.
Hello how are you doing?
When you said “it’s OK if you have a belly” I started to cry. Out of the blue! Phew!! I guess I needed to hear that. Thank you. ❤
Thank you for the “you are worthy” talk towards the end♥️. This is the first time I’ve seen you nd your channel and I’m lifted by your content and positive message. Thank you.🥰
Same!
Same❤️
Are you mixed Ghanaian
2 years too late to this convo... But I feel boosted as...on cloud 9 😊 thank you
You are adorable.
What you said was so kind and genuine. I struggle every day. Thank you for sharing your love
Your skin is EVERYTHING!!
Got to give God probs for that and also sony for their capture technology 😘😘
Stunning!
Thanks from Germany! I love your great advice and what you said about value and worthiness! Sending love!
3:09 I have this dress in black. I look like I’m trying to steal a turkey for thanksgiving in!🤦🏾♀️ I’m cutting out sugar, intermittent fasting and walking, maybe I can wear this winter and look good in it😅
Veeeerrrry good! As an overweight 77 year old this is the best I’ve found on advice for dressing for my shape, which is pear shape.
Can you do a video dedicated to under garment and shaper wear 🙏🏽💕🙏🏽💕
OMG....YESSSSS! Wondering what to wear under white linen pants....HELP!
Yes, I totally agree that would be extremely helpful..
@@dweakley1 i've only recently started wearing 'skin-toned' undies under white- really does look better!
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
@@franklinstephen3268 I'm well and you?
i love this woman i am so self conscious of my body being over wieght and a tummy i struggle so much trying to look nice and sort my weight out thankyou for your comments
Thanks for this gorgeous! I appreciated the pep talk as much as the style advice.
Only a true queen straightens another's crown! 🤗💖
Thanks boo!
I’m so glad you’re here. People, myself included need to hear that they’re worthy!
Needed this.. i had a baby ... THREE years ago.. my body has never been the same.. sigh... its definitely a struggle
girl I know the struggle I went through it and one day I was like this the body I have and Ima make it work! Glad you are here xx
Same here☹
I can relate to you so much! I had a baby 6 months ago and It’s a bit hard to dress up but I’m wearing whatever 😅🤩
You made a whole extra person. If someone says anything to you about your size, ask them if they enjoy breathing and to go apologize to their mother. Your size does not determine your worth.
@@ttyngordon excellent response 😊👍
You are infectiously fun! Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
Hello how are you doing?
Opened this page accidentally. Actually enjoyed it. Thank you
Thank God for you. I'm from the UK, and some stuff the plus-size woman wears will shock you. I'm a plus-size woman. I always wear appropriate clothing for my size. I have taken some serious tips from you. Thank you so much ❤
Great video as always!! Even though I am no longer in the voluptuous size category, I still follow your advice on fashion it has never steered me wrong. A million times thank you!! 💕
@@SuppleChicTV so true. When you find someone who's style & chic personality match the way you want to look & feel each day why not continue to support them. Always inspiring!! 💕
I appreciate that you show both the incorrect and correct ways to dress. Illustrations are so helpful!

This made me cry. Your encouraging speech just hit me. I hate myself but I will work on liking me more. Thank you!
Wow, I don’t have a belly (I’m a pear shaped person), but I’m here for your presentation and gorgeous photo examples.
I love the word of encouragement,” No matter how your body looks it is okay, “ thanks
Ever woman should be proud how their bodies are and feel good.
Thanks for the tips, but thanks even more for putting out such a beautiful message of self acceptance, love, and body positivity. We all need more of that❤️

Thank you for reminding me that I am “ENOUGH”! You are so inspiring 🤗
I truly appreciate this post. I’ve gained a lot of tummy fat since starting the pill and doing my undergraduate studies. I’m now working at a primary school and it’s not that I care what people think but I’ve had some kids fat shame me. There’s only so many times you hear it before it starts to affect your view of self. This was exactly what I needed to hear 💛

WOW. This is my first comment EVER and yours is WORTH IT! What a blessing you are. Keep up the AMAZING work and I will continue to watch. Be Blessed!!
Great tips! Can you incorporate on how to wear belts when being curvy.
Could you eleborate further ?
@@SuppleChicTV To be more specific, different widths of belts, and the correct placement meaning under the breast or at your midsection. I know everyone has a different body shapes but bow do you know where to place your belt when one has a fuller stomach How does one wear a belt so it flattering to your body. I’ve stayed away from belts because they seem to make my waist look wider than it is. Hope that helps.
@@SuppleChicTV Forgot to add when speaking of where to place your belt will differ if one is short or long waisted. Can you share which one you are and how you wear belts. I think that will be a great video!!

@@MyDaybyLori i agree
Anyway if you could help me that would be great
You are popping sis!!!!! Everything looks good on you especially the lipstick
Bravo!!! applause applause yes our body size does not determine our value.. regardless of what some males will tell you. (and some women for that matter) my weight has gone up and down and up again and down again. I have just as much value to loved ones., my workplace and people I meet when it's up as when it's down. great video with lots of good tips.
Just subscribed, you made me feel good about my not so perfect body.
I needed this today. Been feeling bad for gaining weight due to medication and menopause. You've helped me to feel better so thankyou.

I had post this! I see too many women, especially young girls, with the belly fat/muffin-top just free-falling. I have the belly-fat/fupa and I'm very self-conscious when I'm in public or people come over. I have an entirely different posture (suck in). I just do it without even thinking about it now. I love the "shop my outfits". . that is brilliant! It makes it so much easier to find what I like and get a closet filled with star pieces. Thank you!
The dress that you showed with the ruffles at the bottom. Absolutely adorable!
Great tips! I swear the undergarments will make or break your look!

When your showing a don't it would be nice if you showed how to make a don't a do. It helps me. Like that oversized pink dress you had on...how could you make it work if you already own that piece??
Great suggestion but that would be an entirely different video xx
@@SuppleChicTV Yes it would be but I would love if you would do a video on it. I am learning to embrace my curves and how to make them look visually appealing. I have some pieces I know are not working for me so this would be a nice way to work them!
I take a cotton neck scarf those long ones, twist it and use as a belt it works for me, just don’t pull the belt too tight let it droop slightly to the side not in front hope that helped
@@shawshank6015 Thank you!! 😘
