@@Ignitions me personally? Yes, moving the vfd far away and using a shielded usb cable was helpful. Also making sure windows does not put the usb ports in power saver mode.
I never managed to figure that out, and I had done allot of research and turns out the Novusun controller is very bad when it comes to PWM, I managed to get as far as setting it up, however 100% was reversed and meant 0% turned the spindle onto full power
I had the same problem, I solve that giving permisions of the firewall. You have to add Mach3 to the list of allowed programs

for the laser, What pin/wire gives you PWM output
I have the NVUM (usb) and sometimes it disconnects, probably due to emi on the extension cable. Do you ever have problems with NVEM?
Replying on my company account, yes I had. My VFD was too close to my NVEM board and causes problems. I moved it 2 meters away and solved it
