I have massive problems with the G31 command and the NVEM V2 controller. The controller will not stop the movement in 50% of the cases when probe ist triggered. Do you have a suggestion to fix this.

Make a folder in the plugins Mach3 folder named OFF. Move all Novusun drivers to the off folder. Restart mach3 make all changes and save. Then pull out the drivers from the off folder and drop them back into the plugins folder. It isn't a pretty solution but it works.
I'm struggling with the index, I can't seem to get it to light up. If I short it with another input it will but otherwise I can't seem to trip it. I tried using port 1 and pin 0 and nothing. It detects rpm, but that doesn't help for indexing lol. Any ideas?

This is a Mach3 only controller with stepper engine. The NVEM is ethernet connected. There is the NVUM verion for USB to. 12 input and 10 output signals including spindle, e-stop and length sensor. I have the 4-axis version of this product (www.nvcnc.net/nvem.html ).
i would imagine that running this via a powerline cable adapter and via a switch and a pfsense firewall would work, instead of direct ethernet cable pc->stepper?
Thanks for the video. One question what makes mach3 connect enable 1 to th X axis? I do not understand how to assign it to a specific axis. I am getting the same JMC servo (200w version) and from the diagram I see you need to connect an enable signal for each axis. If you activate 3 enable outputs, how Mach3 assign them to the axis? Are the Enable signal always the same so if you have 3 activatede will be the same signal across whole of them? Thanks
The enable don't has to be connected. It is needed if the machine has to be enabled after switching the power on. In this case the enable signal loop's to the servos, so a fault or power loss can prevent the enable state of the machine. Most mach3 machines are enabled by default after reset.
Hi how are you? I'm having problems installing this controller, when I add the Novusun plugin in the C:\Mach3\PlugIns folder, Mach3 doesn't accept commands on XYZ axes. Could you provide the Novusun.dll plugin that mr. are you using?
Hi, the output ports can not trigger a relay by it self. You can think of the output port as a digital switch, that can enable a relay by using an external power source.
The device is only delivered with a compiled driver dll for Mach3. I have not found any source code or programming specification on www.nvcnc.net/nvem.html.
Do you check UA-cam? Did you ever get yours working? I’ve had my servos a year and still can’t get them working. Apparently they require a special firmware tool and rs232 adapter of some type. Nobody anywhere says how to do it or where to download the software. Anyone want to buy 3 servos for $200? That’s half price.
You can get the Software for tuning on seller sites like JMC-Konfigurationssoftware V1.7.6 (Firmware V600-V603) The site is in German. USB to RS232 adapter you can finde almost everywhere you can by a computer. To connect the Servo you will have to make a Plug with wires to the terminals on the Servo. You can ask your seller for the document to the servos or go to the manufacturer www.jmc-motor.com/file/1806082788.pdf. There you find out how to wire the RS232 Plug on page 13 chapter 6.4.

Quite easy to do what you explain. The real deal is when you try to use this board in real world. Have try to do some Zeroing of your axis with this board? None of script work. Like the board doesn't do what you expect. Please share some just simple script of zeroing the Z. Should be this hard to do simple thing like that but it is . I think the firmware is not compatible at all with Mach3.

Hello, I am thinking of using a DC Motor Spindle. I want to use NVBDL+ as the Spindle Driver and NVEM as the CNC Breakout Board. I want to control the Spindle Speed with PWM. What is the appropriate connection between NVBDL+ and NVEM?
Heya anyone who can help, I just recently wired up the newly created electronics package with the NVEM NOVUS however i've hit an impasse. All of my motors work. My configuration uses 4 motors, X axis is controlled by two motors. After I "slaved"the secondary motor to the "A"connection, the axis only moves one direction. It never switches when I press to go left or right - just moves the same direction. All the others run well in both directions perfectly. Have you had this problem? Any idea what may be a cause? Thank you in advance!

So I have to say, this NVEM Novus is full of mysteries. I'm beginning to think its a huge piece of wasted money. So I connected all drives, everything 100% certain correctly wired. My X axis with a slaved motor (Dual drive) would only move one direction (either arrow key drives it the same direction). So I took Y and Z drives, and wired them to the X dual drive - the X drive would work perfectly (Moves both directions depending on the key pressed). Now, I wired an additional motor - Y - it moves only 1 direction now. Did the same thing with Z - moves only one direction. I have no idea what this means but if anyone has an idea please let me know. Otherwise, I'm just buying a smoothieboard and let this be my last mistake when buying garbage with terrible information.
The firewall tip was golden! My NVEM did not make contact. I tried everything, even reinstalled mach (noob). Thanks.

As far as i know the index is only for rpm display. The manual doesn't tell anything else.

Hi, the NVUM is connected via USB, NVEM is the Ethernet version. Other versions have different wiring options and other pulse rates.

It is only for Mach3. I don't know the spezial needs for plasma cutter on IO ports, but Mach3 should support plasma cutters.

maybe the values in step puls and dir puls of the Mach3 Motor Tuning can be an issue.

Fyi also, switched from the 'A' connection to a 'B' connection on the NOVUS which didn't fix the issue. It persists. I have a 6 axis NVEM NOVUS V2
Make mach3 changes only when the drivers are all removed temporarily

Check your firewall settings. I had the same problem.. problem solved thanks to this video.
See answer above about removing the Novusun drivers temporarily whilst making mach3 adjustments.
