Gaijin has been doing this for years. They introduce a new premium , make it op to boost sales. Balance it after a while, make changes and its op again. Nerf it again this time final nail in the coffin (like a huge br change or something). Remove the premium and introduce a new one. Repeat. I really hate those cunts at Gaijin Entertainment
The problem with it is its weaponry. It has the 2nd worst missiles, has no long range capability, its cannons are semi decent but its rof and unpredictable damage holding it back along with its awful engines. 10.3-10.7 is where it should have stayed. In short the f5c is now just an ariete but with flares and chaff.

Because for quite a while the best planes have been either in the US tt or were US planes in other nations' tt and that has only minimally changed. The F-5C would be in a perfectly fine place right now, if 11.0 wasn't compressed to hell right now, thanks to Gaijin's infinite wisdom of moving almost everything up above 10.0 and nothing below it, creating a hole with were few planes in it (most of which are US planes anyway, so they get downtiered while US 11.0 gets uptiered a lot more thanks to that).
Well, this plane teached me how to play jets. It got me literally 95% of the US tech tree.. why people say that f4s is better? I mean, i think f5c is still broken 😅

Not even premiums are bulletproof from gaijin 2 collective braincells. Btw I always find myself in this situation 2:35 lol... at the end I have to be 1 vs 5 on my ass and can't get away from them or outturn them basically the best quality the plane had is maneuvers in a br where everyone is better at it.
Used to be really good now is very bad. Unlike the F5E which is perfect for 11.0, worse engines, missiles, and no large caliber counter measures. I believe its old one was around 10.3-10.7 if im not mistaken, should of stayed there. Now your fighting everything that will be impossible to run from.
Been using it at 11.0, and it has been FAR better than when it was in 10.3. Since it wasn’t US vs the rest of the planet anymore, been getting lots of wins.
The amount of suffering this plane put me through while grinding other nations...

PD radar and 5 aim7Fs at 12.0 with an HMD and good flight model. The F5C is dogshit at 11.0 compared to the F5E and J7E
