I WAS AT Year Up I did the 6 months program then send to internship as a Accounting and finance intern and I was fired within 2 and half months.Guys when you get accepted to the program don’t think as a school it’s a training program and really learn the skills that is being taught to you in yearup LIKE seriously this is the part where I did not learn the skills properly just because I want to get through everything without grasping the skills I need to be successful at my internship ahhh I know my other friends will be hired on and have their successful career I wish I could go back time and learned and should have not thought as SCHOOL OR COLLEGE learn from this guys plz.

reasearch jobs online, watch videos on youtube, maintain a 4.0 gpa, believe that you can get an internship to help you with your future career goals, and finally realize that this is probably something outside your comfort zone, so you just forget about it and keep living your life. 😔

Hi, very informative but did you end up getting an offer from the internship? and if not do you know anyone who did get an offer? I got accepted but i see a lot of sketchy reviews online about how they don't pay enough for the work load, so I was just wondering how likely it is to get hired.

It's like going back to school. The program gives you a weekly stipend to help support you while you're taking your classes for the first 6 months. Then you get a weekly stipend for your next 6 months while you are interning at a company to get to experience what it's like to work in a career of that field.
There are sketchy reviews about literally everything in life but Year Up is lowkey black and white. You go to school and go to internship. When you graduate, the placement team helps you find a place for you to work that aligns with your career goals.

Business tracks consist of; business introduction, Business Mathematics,
Project Management, and a Career Readiness Communications class. This lasts 4-5 months and you spend one month training with your class. Afterwards, you earn an Internship Seat! That varies on your location but most on the East Coast get into Fannie Mae.

I know this video came out about 3 years ago but I know marijuana shows up on drug tests and I'm considering year up but the thing is weed is the only thing that helps with my anxiety and other mental problems, and I am also considering getting a medical card. Will this be a problem? And if it is, is it worth it going into the program? Because I would rather go into Year up because I personally cannot afford college and I don't want to be in debt so I think year up would be amazing for me but when you said they do multiple drug tests that scares me because without weed my anxiety is just all over the place. I hope you see this comment because I don't know what I should do. Also love your singing you have an amazing voice!
