    Dude I'm so glad I found your channel. You are like the support version of coach Curtis.

    My man really brought out the bachelor of science psychology to teach us how to not tilt in league 😳

    I had to return to this video today. I was getting angry because I was focusing on external variables that are out of my control. I fell into the trap of thinking "it's unfair for me to be stuck playing with these players when I am so superior" but this crippled my focus and made my level of play drop drastically. I started playing poorly, autopiloting fights, and my overall awareness dropped substantially. I have now, however, recognized that my mentality is the problem, not my teammates. Usually when I would start feeling this way I would quit the game but this time I am going to calm down, untilt and get back on the right track again; consistency is key. Thanks for the video Coach Cupcake. The lessons contained within I have heard many times before, yet I still have much to learn.

      It's great that you managed to reflect on this and come to your conclusion. There are so many delusional narratives we all can fall prey to, it's hard work to keep a healthy mentality

    I will link this video to all my league friends and really take it to heart myself :D This video covers what I feel holds most bronze/silver people back, and you are by far the best pedagogue in LoL YT content. (I work as a teacher myself and I'm constantly impressed from a professional point of view with your lessons!) Thank you for being wonderful

    Excellent dive into many aspects of tilt here. Dude, thank you so much. I'll practice these and see how it goes. Much appreciated.

    I'll be honest when I saw the title I didn't think I'd find much use in this video. But after watching it you highlighted a bunch of flaws I have. I am a very streaky player and think of the game very short term. During these loss streaks Ive definitely thought my MMR is ruined since I lose more lp than I gain and blame my teammates. From now on I'm going to take what you've talked about and focus on myself and stop blaming outside sources.
    Great video mate keep it up.

    Hahahaha 😂😂😂😂 yeaaah this is much needed. I remember I did actually rage quit the game as whole and had so much issues with tilt. Gonna watch this throughly after I wake later. This video is a gem! Sorry btw I left your discord server. I will certainly be back. I actually took a few steps back and actually accepted that I suck at this game and that's it's fine, no need to worry and push myself to climb as even if my goals were to climb, instead of having fun and imporving. Thanks man!

    Very good video. Unfortunately I experienced firsthand that videos on this topic don't get much attention from LoL community, which is sad.

    Thank you for your work!!
    I have a question regarding the percentage of games that are out of my control and when to take responsibility. I feel like those two are contradicting with a gray zone in between.
    Do you have any thoughts on when to NOT take responsibility?

    • @CoachCupcake
      @CoachCupcake  Рік тому +1

      I believe that the more responsibility you take, the more competent and successful you will be, both as a player and person. You should strive to always take responsibility of what is in your control (your gameplay & mentality), as they can always be improved upon.
      Acknowledging that some games are out of your control can help to prevent tilt, sort of a bandaid to suboptimal mentality if that makes sense.
