My heart jumps when I see a new video. I’ve always felt I should have been an archeologist because I’m always digging and scratching around anywhere I go. Im a beach glass artist in the US, but I’d love to discover a shoreline dump and scrounge. You do it in such a lovely and interesting way. Your stories, presentation and home are all beautiful and I just love you. ❤️

What a great day out mudlarking! Wonderful finds! I was particularly taken with the little pulley object. Also did some research and found next to nothing about pulleys being used in womens' undergarments or clothing. Bernadette Banner, Nicole Rudolf. Morgan Donner and Abbey Cox, all of who are here on UA-cam, are fashion historians. You might think of contacting any or all of them. I'm sure they have a wealth of knowledge or know where to find the information, if it exists.

I never ever get tired of seeing y’all find cod marbles, bottle stoppers, beads, broken doll parts and bottles and all the lovely treasures you discover! Each one is a story unto itself though we may not know the individual tale, it’s fun too imagine!
It is pure joy watching my favorite ladies on the hunt❣️
Also, wouldn’t that piece of snowflake glass make a gorgeous pendant for a necklace or bracelet! Circle it in silver and it would be amazing!

I am just thrilled with each experience you share with us. I am so jealous of the many places you have to search. I live along the Susquehanna River In Pennsylvania and look for River glass and broken China and pottery. The Indians camped on the shores , drying fish for the winter months. I have yet to find an arrow head so it remains on my bucket list. I make jewelry from the river glass, China and pottery. Cape May New Jersey is 5 hours away and I find several pieces of Cape May diamonds. Why do there seem to be so many pipe bowls. We’re they only good for so many uses, and then we’re replaced? Oh and to find a cod ball would be exciting. I have found marbles on the shore of Lake Erie. Best to you always and thank you for giving so much joy. I love the doll house. You guys are extremely talented and to be a mother daughter team is such a blessing. Kimberli

Hi ladies! How fun back at your fav foreshore! ( : Love being. Part of your exciting adventures through time! ( :
Awww, Alex, what a cute little opal seed bead fur your first find! You sound like you have a cold, sweetie! ) : I hope you feel better soon! ) : A tenants pipe! ( : Sweet a large marmalade jar, Gail, that's fantastic! ( : And, of course, a beautiful cod marble! ( : How weird someone would dig out the clay there and leave the treasures! Very odd! Very cool piece with Victoria on it! ( : A cod marble for you too! ( : Wow, I can't believe you found a whole doll plate, Alex! They are hardly ever whole! ( : Yesss! ( : Ohhh,. Little doll's head right after! She came out perfect when cleaned! ( : She is sooo sweet and perfect! ( : Great find! ( :
Yayyyyyyy, Gail a tiny bottle with a burst lip! The cup with the 3 children's faces was amazing! Wow. Then a huge lens, a spoon handle, a cod marble, slate pencil, and a bug bottle stopper!! Holy moly! What a pile you found, Gail! ( :
Hmmm glazed porcelain labels? Strange....They do look like a salt spoon possibly too! The Vulcanite stopper has a smooth base?! That is weird! ( : Wow, another cid marble, Gail! A big caster wheel or a giant head! Lol! ( : What a pretty, ornate found a Venetian glass hat pin. How cool and gorgeous! ! And a tiny seed bead, yay! ( : I just love watching the nature you share in your beautiful flowers, angles of your surroundings. And nature you share too! ( : Wow, Gail, another awesome coin from 1893! ( : And a beautiful, big blue bead! ( : The piece of decorated brass is amazing and will look fantastic cast! I never saw anyone find a domino! Owwww, a beautiful cut glass bottle. I bet it is most likely a perfume container! Yummm wild garlic! I bet it smells amazing! ( : Wow, an anchor button! Sweet! ( : Yayyyyyyy! Another turquoise blue bead! They do seem very popular! I always wondered if it was just me thinking everyone finds tons of blue beads! A leg too! ( : Awwww.. a whole, small marmalade jar, Gail. Sooo nice! ( :
OMGGGG! A head pipe, with no pipe back! It is still very cool? ( : The face is perfect! ( : What a cool little pulley! You are too clever, Gail. I would never have thought of a corset pulley! I hope it turns out to be just that! ( : Sooo cool! How horrid to have had to wear corsets, though! Owwwww! ) :
Victorian sunglasses?! That is sooo amazing! Wow! ( : What a great jar stopper too!
Ohhhh ..I love the song you played at the round up today! It is sooo beautiful! ( : I am always inspired by your teamwork, love of treasure hunting through larking, and historical knowledge about your amazing finds! Have a great week, ladies! Wonderful video again, as always! ( :

I believe the weird little pulley thing you found is part of a garter belt clip. Some were made with small pulleys and chains with button clips. Some suspenders were designed the same way, but were larger in size. Hopefully this helps. As always, love the episode and keep up the good work!

Perfect little lark! Thanks, girls. I vote for salt spoon. There must have been far more salt spoons than doll house ladles...maybe?!
I keep thinking about some sort of light box for all those Codd marbles (or glass stoppers better yet. What can one do w/ them that doesn't involve light somehow??
I know the craft videos were a product of COVID, but, I really do miss those. All the 'Maybe we'll grind the lip' and so on is tantalizing- especially for those of us who really have no skills, but do have loads of enthusiasm for such things. Maybe you could cobble together a video of that grinding down- that casting in silver. I know we can see some results on your Etsy page, but seeing the process... well there's no comparison. Also maybe a view of the various collections? Or how all those marm pots look in your garden?
Whatever you do, whatever you produce, I watch. And really enjoy. I know it's a job editing, but still- you're in it now.
Cheers from Maine-- from your loyal long-distance friend and fan, Abbey

Good morning from Sunny South Africa.
I know that this video is old, however I remember watching it a few months ago and saw a glass jar lid that Gail picked up, and if I recall that it is not the first one you have found, and you still have no info on it.
Well here is the fun part, I live on an old farm in the countryside and I do my own bit of mudlarking in my back yard.
Yesterday I found a KBT lid and have managed to find that it is from Kilner Brothers glass company all with the help of Pinterest.
I thought this was quite fun. Thank you for all your videos! They keep my fiance and I entertained many nights 🥰🙏🏻❣️
