If you ask me, they should which gears to an official meet n greet with Timon and Rafiki with Lion King theme background patterns like at Dinoland's meet n greet.

The Simba is either a very graceful machine or a person in costume and I've never been able to figure out which one it is.

Since the last time I saw this live (circa 2006-2007), the animatronic for Simba has been visibly upgraded, as has Timon's face. This has always been my favorite show at any Disney park, with Aladdin (DCA) in second.
This is BEAUTIFUL!!! It is basically my childhood wrapped up into 30 minutes.

just watched this for the first time in person last saturday and cried it was so good. I actually think this video doesn't do it justice. I feel like they had SO MUCH more energy when we were there. And it was the afternoon and they had already done it a few times and were still high energy. this was by far my favorite show in all of disney world.

Saw a version of this in Disneyland Hong Kong. Didn't even know what I was about to watch when I walked in the theatre. It was seriously amazing especially when you get to see it live. DIDN'T REGRET WATCHING THIS A SINGLE BIT.

that simba takes my breath away. i used to force my family to go watch that one lion king puppet show that used to be in the magic kingdom. mom and sisters hated it but me and my grandfather could not get enough of it. after watching this video a long time ago i made my family watch it and it took my breath away. Lion king was always my favorite movie
with lion king being such a popular movie i always think they would do more with it at the parks. i hope they do add more like in parades and stuff.

Went to see this show 3 times during my two-week visit early this month, just couldn't get tired of it!
I'm a 61 y/o man. Been to Disney World 3 times and this show was my favorite!!! It should be a law that everyone in our country gets a free week at Disney World in their lifetime. To experience the closest thing to "imagination" in real life❤️. To become a child again for a week does the body, mind, and soul wonders.

I love that articulated Timon costume there..
His head actually was articulated for a time, then it wasn't, and then it went back to being articulated again. Also, Simba's feet moved from 1998 to 2008, then the movement was put back into the feet in 2009 and it has been that way ever since.

Just saw this yesteray. We were at the top far right orner of th Elephant section so we had a great view of everything as well as that beautiful Simba animatronic. They really do a great job with this!

This will forever be my favorite show Disney has at its parks.
Animal Kingdom is my favorite Disney Park. The main one is too crowded, MGM can get boring if you go at the wrong time, Epcot is interesting for the cultural section but isn't really a family friendly amusement park, but Animal Kingdom is just fun all the time. It has rides, the safari, this show, animals, food, and a great roller coaster.
