Popularly known as 'The Human Computer', Shakuntala Devi was an Indian mental calculator and writer. She stunned the world with her ability to calculate equations from both sides. Her uncanny ability to memorise numbers was discovered by her father at the early age of 3. She started showcasing her unbelievable talent on her father's circus stage and went on to make the world her stage by appearing on the BBC in 1950. She even beat a computer at its own calculating game.
