I love purple potatoes. I think they have a great taste. I like to put petite purple potatoes in my pot roast. They’re are also not as firm as white potatoes. Kroger’s sells them in little bags. I buy 1 bag of petite purple and then a bag of mixed petite purple, petite white and petite golden. They’re the size of gold balls and perfect for cooking a roast in the crock pot.

My dad ordered some long time ago. I'l ask him where he got it from. I can give you a dozen potatoes if you want. Still have quite a bit left from last year crop
I have found absolutely no difference between eye cut taters or whole ones just the same harvest with cut ones just more work making me taters more expensive!
So you managed to talk your father into being in the movie...I think if you go to your nabbers place his father sows the same potatoes...never seen them before...not the good colour for a potato to me....SALUT
