Regardless of your age, overall iPhone and iPad skill level, and the iOS version you are currently using.
For starters, Mike helps people with low vision problems, and their sighted guide understands the basic setup and use of VO settings for the first time.
The iPhone and iPad Voiceover are located under the accessibility tab. Aka VO features, settings. By the way, VO settings are preinstalled on all iPhones and iPads, basically, all iOS devices. Additionally, Voice settings are absolutely free with an iPhone or iPad purchased. Thank you, Apple!
In this iPhone accessibility settings tutorial, Mike focus on introducing newbies to the wonderful world of voiceover (VO) basics. With additional settings for the experienced VO users that want to customize their voiceover settings.
Where to find voiceover under the home page settings tab? VO settings, and how to best use voiceover. As you will soon discover is one of the most useful accessibility features preinstalled on iPhone & iPad.
Mike helps beginners, and advanced VO users alike understand exactly how to set up, tweak and use basic and advanced voice-over settings to improve their iPhone experience.
By simply turning on VO: shortcuts, select the best speaking voice, and speaking rate that works best for the visually impaired person's listening to pleasure. The easiest voice to understand and listen to.
How speaking rate speeds up, and slows down spoken content. The visually impaired person and their sighted guide will find this setting extremely useful.
For instance, sending and receiving text messages, Emails, checking on the current weather conditions, and keeping up the day's goings-on. On all their favorite social media sites. Makes using the iPhone fun and much easier to figure out than many VIPs believe possible. For a blind or otherwise visually impaired person focused on overcoming low vision challenges.
The key to unlocking and using the iPhone's full potential. Setting up and using VoiceOver is the first, best place to start.
Best of all once set up VO, the voiceover spoken content will simply work when toggled on, and shut up when toggled off, via the accessibility shortcut menu once set up. Why shut VO off you ask? Simple, when in a meeting or some other clandestine situation no one wants notifications telling all within ear-shot all their secrets, right.

@christianpatriot7196, please help me to understand exactly what you are having trouble figuring out how to do.
Have you discovered how swiping up from the bottom of the scree gestures?
With VO on: swiping up until you hear 2-tomes, from the bottom of the screen takes you back to the home screen. 3-tones opens the app switcher.
Have you set up the accessibility short cut using the side/power button?
Thanks for asking, make it a great day.
